What makes this Villa unique
We have selected this house because it 's a single family house, furthermore we have appreciated the big terrace that we have improved with some flowerbeds where we have planted bouganvilleas, lantanas, roses, succulents. The house is enclosed by a wall and allows you to live in liberty hall. Our son and our dogs have enjoied this terrace and we were relaxed because we were sure that they will not have the possibility to go outside. We have choosen this house because is very close to the beach and we have found that for babys the n earness is very comfortable.

Wonderful stay in a wonderful location!
We had a wonderful stay at this house. The location was amazing with just a few minute walk to an absolutely breath taking beach! There are a couple of fun restaurants along the water that were so nice. The location in cozy Santa Guilia was just perfect for our family. Our two young boys loved the beach path, and little hikes along the beach. Good value for the price! Smooth check in and check out!
soggiorno molto piacevole
struttura ben tenuta, confortevole, fornita di tutto quanto occorre; ottima posizione, proprietaria cortese. Cane ok. Si suggerisce dotazione wi-fi.
Grazie Signor Rota!
The house is very spacious and perfectly equipped. Everything was clean and worked well.
The neighbourhood was very quiet and it takes only a few minutes to reach the beach.
The assistance by the renter/agent was very obliging.
We definitely will come again.
The village named “Les Hameaux de Pietragione” is on the south east coast of Corsica Island in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea, it is 7 km. far from the town of Porto- Vecchio, in a 10 hct. park where you can find cork-oaks and the entire flora typical of the island said: “Maquis”.
The beach of Santa Giulia is 150 m. far from the villa . The sand is white and thin, the sea water is turquoise blue and pink rocks appear. The sea bottom is not at all deep and slopes lightly; this is the perfect place for children! Anyway the water becomes deeper slightly to allow people swimming or snorkeling On the right side of the bay you can find all arrangements in order to carry out all nautical activities: immersions, boats rental, nautical ski, buoy, paddle boats, surfboards, jet ski. All along the beach many restaurants and “Pizzerie” are at your disposal. Inside the village there is a tennis court to book at the “Accueil”.
At the fork of Bocca dell’Oro on the right: L’Acciaio, Tamaricciu, Palombaggia – From Porto-Vecchio towards Bastia Golfo di Sogno, Pinarello, St. Cyprien, U Benedettu, Favone, Fautea, while on the way to Bonifacio: Rondinara, Maora Plage (there is a Restaurant on the beach- a fascinating corner), Petit Sperone, Sant’Amanza, after Bonifacio: Tonnara, Roccapina. If you wish to go further, you can reach Sartene (an ancient little town), Tizzano and Capo Moro (a little Restaurant on the beach is cooking some very tasty cuttlefishes. For people loving archeology there is Filitosa (a prehistorically site where you can see the Menhir)
Porto - Vecchio: ancient citadel fortified situated at the end of a 9 km, gulf. The town was built on a hill overlooking the salt works. Here you can find many Restaurants, Pizzerie, bar, and every kind of shops (dress shops-novelty shops, markets, pharmacy). You can take a break to taste an excellent Italian ice-cream or sit down at one of the bars near the Church for a drink (try the local beer named Pietra). There are many events in the summer season (you can get all information at the Travel Bureau). If you love disco you can find “Via Notte” a disco plain-air with international music stars. For the golfers there is Lezza Golf ( 3 km. far from the village) with 8 holes.
This town, named “The jewel of the extreme south of Corsica’s Island” is in an extraordinary geographic location: in the face of the sea, the town overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Not to be missed a walk along Bonifacio’s cliffs! You can discover the majestic citadel, defended by the high cliffs in the face of Sardinia. For people loving immersions there is the natural marine reserve on the Bonifacio’s Bocche where you can admire the sea bottom with their heavenly colors. Near Bonifacio, there is the Sperone Golf Club projected by R.Trent Jones Sr. with 18 holes in a wonderful frame in the face of Cavallo and Lavezzi’s Islands.
If you prefer relaxing, you can drive in a an half an hour up to the “Foresta dell’Ospedale” where in the freshness of very old elms you can have trips, fishing trouts, and taste Corse specialty at the restaurant “Le Refuge” locality said Cartalavonu (piglet, lamb), on Mondays and Fridays you can listen Corsican singers with their guitars. There are many trails for walking that will take from one to two hours. If you wish you can also reach Zonza and “Bavella Massif” that are the “Corse Dolomites”. In the Quenza’s area you’ll find “Purcaraccia” waterhole where you can dive in the fresh water. Afterwards you can reach Solenzara and nearby reach “Diana” or “Urbino” two basins where oysters, mussels and shellfishes are cultivated and where you can have your dinner before coming back to Santa Giulia.
Try a vacation in this wonderful land, the “Island of Beauty” as named by old Greeks who called it “Kalliste” that means “The most beautiful”. At Santa Giulia, after your dinner you can enjoy the freshness of the night laying on the beach-chair in the patio admiring a sky so full of stars as you never would see in your cities and hinale an air full of the scents coming from myrtle and the others shrubs of the “Maquis” that will remain forever in your minds.
