Lovely villa, a few bits need updating, like the bedrooms having bunk beds and the air con in the kitchen was leaking. The owner couldn’t have done more for us.

Once upon a Time a stunning villa

Fabulous location with lots of rooms and spaces, however needs lots of care and maintenance. Outside kitchen although a very large space Tor my large family, was not clean and needed a good clean out, too many items stuffed in draws that were difficult to open. What a pity! Although we enjoy hearing the sound of the water lapping on the shore from our bedroom.

Great spot right on the beach for families or large groups!

Our stay here was perfect! The house is large and has plenty of private and shared spaces for a big group. We had 13 people (6 adults, 6 kids and 1 infant) and the bedroom layout was great. There is only one en-suite bedroom, but there are plenty of full bathrooms to go around on each floor. There is AC in every bedroom and common space, so the entire house was nice and cool, and we were there in July! The kitchen and dining room in the outside sunroom was great! It is a large space and it's right off the pool and ocean. We did all our cooking and meals out there. It's well equipped for cooking and meals, and while some of the supplies and appliances are a bit dated, everything worked perfectly and suited our needs. It also has a full bathroom, which served as the main place to shower off after the ocean and pool. The pool and immediate access to the ocean were also huge assets! The kids lived in those spaces (plus the jacuzzi) and the views from each are amazing. There is also a bbq and pizza oven outside which made for fun outdoor cooking by the ocean. The location was great for us - it's minutes into Casteldaccia, which has great little restaurants and beaches. It's about 30 minutes to Palermo and 45 minutes to the airport, which was easy. On top of all of that, the house manager, Gea, is great to work with! She is very communicative and helped us out a ton with local information and transportation (Thanks again, Gea). I would definitely recommend!

Outstanding Villa

Our group of 17 eager travelers enjoyed their time at the beautiful villa. We felt comfortable, relaxed, and energized at the property. Our friend Maeve had never been to the island and fell in love with it quite quickly. The host was incredible and very easy to communicate with. Many memories were made here, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts - Muffy.

See sound full volume on! Left on Sep 16, 2018 for a stay in Sep 2018 We loved our stay , to be able to open the back door and jump in the sea directly was a true plus! The 2 kitchens are fully equipped and we had nice BBQs and dinners with the whole group. It is very suitable for a big group, although bear in mind there are only 4 bedrooms, the other sleeping places are more freestyle. Just 2 km ride away and you are in Casteldaccia, a lovely little town where you could buy fresh fish, meat and vegetables and enjoy an authentic Italian espresso with the locals. The owner was extremely responsive and always ready to help us with our questions. I would definitely go back anytime soon!

Requires maintenance and updating

My family and I recently stayed in this rental from July 4th to 10th 2018. We chose this location mainly because of all the positive reviews and the 5star ratings. I was very disappointed and felt mislead by the reviews. While this rental has the potential to be a great especially given the location. It is failing with not being maintained with the basics. The pool was murky and dirty and was not cleaned until our 4th day there. The power kept tripping and need to be reset at the box located at the road. The grounds were not cleaned and were untidy. The bbq was not fit to cook any thing on. The master bath had mold on the walls. The mattresses, linens and towels all need to be updated. The cots for the children were not useable, some smelled of urine others had springs and bars poking through. I have pictures although VRBO does not seem to have a place to post them on the mobile app. This was an important trip for my family we were 12 people and I feel that these accommodations ruined our trip.

Great property right on the beach! Our family of 19 enjoyed all the amenities it offered!

The location was great, restaurants and expressway very easy to access. The grounds provided us with plenty of space for the kids and adults! The pool house with sliding glass doors is were we spent most of our time. Being able to cook and watch the kids at the pool was ideal. Plenty of space and bathrooms, never made you feel like you were on top of each other. The property gave us the opportunity to be with four family comfortably(19 total). The rooms upstairs gave parents a place to sleep and also a extra bed for one of the kids. The other children had a great time sleeping downstairs in the family room with roll always. Gianluca and his staff were very accommodating! If we couldn’t figure out something Gianluca was right over. Thank you again for making our trip memorable!!!

nice villa, helpful hosts

We stayed in the villa for 3 days in January 2018. Gianluca and Francesca were very accommodating hosts and were flexible with our arrival and checkout time. The location of the villa is right on the water. The only potential suggestion for improvement is the bathrooms, where the shower stalls are very small. We had a great stay overall and would recommend the villa.

A Memorable Family Trip

We took our children and grandchildren to Sicily in celebration of my birthday and spent the first week of the trip at this beautiful villa in Casteldaccia. From this location, we were able to take side trips into Terrasini and Montelepre, the towns from which my parents came, and, of course, were able to go into Palermo for various activities. The villa is spacious and meticulously maintained. When we were not on an excursion, we were in the pool which was clean and the perfect depth for everyone in the group. Gianluca, the owner, and his associates Francesca and Marco, were amazing people to deal with. They made arrangements for all of our transports as well as a rental car which they delivered to us at the villa so that we did not have to pick up and drop off at a rental agency. Prior to our arrival, I sent them a shopping list of basic groceries and they were in the villa when we arrived. I also requested that they have dinner brought in for us the first night and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this beautiful property, and rate it, as well as the people running it, 5 stars!!

Lovely place to stay - great for all ages!

Gianluca and Francesca were very welcoming and helpful. Villa Silvia was great for our family holiday. Location is great. We had 15 family members ranging in age from 6 years to 85 years old who all enjoyed their time at the Villa - especially in the pool and the outdoor jacuzzi!

Lovely villa by the sea

We had a lovely holiday at the villa and can really recommend a stay. The house and the poolhouse with extra kitchen and bathroom are spacious. The kitchen is very well equipt. There is also a large barbeque. The villa really is right by the sea and it is lovely to be able to swim and go straight to the shower/pool after. It is a pebble beach so you can't build sand castels, but the pebbles are nice and soft. The owner of the villa is very helpful and serviceminded. He organized transfers, answered all our questions about where to buy things and even went to the pharmacy when our daughter needed some medication. A car is recommended. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, but the road has no pavements, so it is not very nice to walk, especially with children. The pool is nice and clean. It is only waist deep for a grown up, which is perfect for young children, but older children might find it a bit unchallenging.

Great place to spend your family holidays!

When I first entered the villa I thought there were more than our party staying there because it's so huge. The outside area has lots of space to relax at the large pool and the newly built second kitchen area is a great place to cook, eat and have a good time with your family and friends. In the both kitchens there is really everything you need and the house also offers many thing you won't expect like children toys, stereos and a table football. The private beach is rather small and rocky but always good for a quick swim. The view from the bedroom windows and the large roof garden is spectacular. The only drawback is the area around the house, you have to drive a bit for sandy beaches and Villadaccia (in my opinion) is not really the best place to stroll trough the city. But we were really having a great time and would come back any time. And not to forget thanks again to Gianluca for the warm welcome with drinks and local specialities.

Après un acceuil chaleureux, nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette villa. La description et les photos reflètent bien la villa. Elle était très propre et bien entretenue. Elle dispose de beaucoup de matériel (cuisine, salle de bain... et fauteuil de plage) La maison est bien fournie au niveau loisir (bateau gonflable, vélos, piscine, mer) et idéal pour les enfants. Assez d'ombre en cas de forte chaleur. Propriétaire de parole et très sympatique.

Wonderful place!!!!

We rented Villa Silvia to attend the marriage of our daughter. We were 10 in total. Villa Silvia is so beautiful and the view is stunning. The house was perfect and everything we needed was provided by Nilo. He even took us to the supermarket and told us the best paces and cheapest to buy things. They cleaned the pool everyday and swimming in the sea was amazing. A very quiet place and very relaxing. Lots of places to visit around. An amazing place to rent and relax!!! "Wir haben dieses schöne ...

"Wir haben dieses schöne Haus direkt am Strand im Dezember gebucht. Von dem Besitzer und dem Verwalter wurden wir sehr gastfreundlich mit einheimischen Prosecco und süßen und deftigen Backspezialitäten aus dem Ort begrüßt, sogar der Kühlschrank wurde mit einigen Getränken bestückt. Sehr positiv aufgefallen ist uns nicht nur die von uns Deutschen so geliebte Pünktlichkeit, sondern auch die Schnelligkeit, in der Probleme behoben bzw. Wünsche erfüllt wurden. Telefonisch war immer jemand erreichbar. Das Haus ist modern eingerichtet, jedes Zimmer hat einen Flachbildschirm, eine große Stereoanlage steht im Wohnzimmer mit großen Boxen. Für den Winter kann man dieses Haus den Besuchern nur ans Herz legen. Nicht nur, dass warme Federdecken in reichlicher Zahl vorhanden waren und Heizungen in jedem Zimmer, gab es zudem noch in jedem Raum zusätzlich eine Klimaanlage/Heizanlage, die über eine Fernbedienung bedient werden konnte und zusätzliche Heizlüfter, falls dies einem noch nicht reichen sollte. Die Federbetten waren neu und Handtücher und frische Bettwäsche waren reichlich vorhanden. In der 1. Etage befinden sich alle Schlafzimmer und 2 Bäder der insgesamt 4 Bäder, wobei ein Bad zum größten Schlafzimmer gehört, so dass nur 1 Bad allen Bewohnern in der 1. Etage zur Verfügung steht. Dies ist aber kein Problem, da im Erdgeschoss 2 weitere Bäder, alle mit Dusche, vorhanden sind. Die Küche ist mit modernen Geräten ausgestattet, so hat die Küche gleich 3 Backöfen und ein separates Gaskochfeld, aber Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, mehrere Waffeleisen und andere Küchengeräte sind vorhanden. "

"Family with 3 children and 3 adults (grandma also). Weather was ideal at September. Enough hot sunny days and one rainy day. Space is more than enough for 6 people. The sea is just under your nose and it was warm and clear. So were swimming and also snorkeling many times. Near Palermo so there lot of things to see and do. One week was not enough to visit there. And also there many nice villages inside the island and lot of other places to see. And every time there is Nilo who helps you on every situation. And of course you need a car."

We were made feel very welcome and the Villa was ideal for the 6 of us -plenty of rooms, good facilities, lovely pool and positioned right on the beach. Local towns and villages very accessable however you do need a car. Casteldaccia has all the shops that you need and we would recommend Club 113 for great food and welcoming smiles. We had a great time."
