Podere La Fonte is situated in a most spectacular position just below the ancient castellated village of Radicondoli. It has magnificent uninterrupted views over the Cecina valley and the surrounding hills.
At night you can see the lights of Volterra, San Gimignano, Colle Val D'Elsa and many other villages nestling in the hills all around you. Florence is one hour away and Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano just forty minutes by road. Lovely local walks and natural pools in the nearby river Cecina. There are swimming pools within easy reach and in an hour you can drive to and enjoy sandy beaches just like the ancient Etruscan people did.
Your hosts Emanuela and Marco look forward to welcoming you to their home. They will also give you every assistance to help you discover and understand the opportunities offered by the surrounding countryside and tourist attractions. Whether you choose to stay put, or explore the surrounding countryside and famous sites, Podere La Fonte has the answer for you. You can choose to rent as little as one of the tree double rooms (with no cooking facilities), one of the two self catering apartments or all the accommodation on offer for a larger group .

Wirklich toll!

Eine super schöne Unterkunft fĂŒr alle, die das toskanische Land erleben und genießen wollen. Emanuela und Marco sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, die bei Fragen immer weiter helfen und tolle Tipps fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung haben. Unbedingt auch das eigne Olivenöl probieren! Die Wohnung ist sehr gemĂŒtlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man zum Leben und Kochen braucht. Die Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten sind herrlich und man genießt einen tollen Ausblick! Bis zum Dorf Radicondoli sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß, es ist sehr nett, wenig touristisch und findet man mit einem kleinen Supermarkt, BĂ€cker, Metzger, einem CafĂ© und drei Restaurants alles, was man braucht. Die Unterkunft war fĂŒr uns der ideale Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung, so ist es nach Norden nicht weit nach San Gimignano und Volterra und nach SĂŒden in das oVal d'Orcia und zur heißen Quelle San Filippo. Und auch zum Meer sind es auch nur etwa eine Stunde Fahrt. Wir können die Unterkunft wirklich rundum empfehlen und kommen bei unserem nĂ€chsten Urlaub in der Toskana auf jeden Fall wieder!

wieder mal Radicondoli

Nach vielen Jahren waren wir wieder mal bei Emanuela und Marco im Podere La Fonte. Wie immer waren sie sehr gute Gastgeber! Einiges hat sich verĂ€ndert im Laufe der Zeit. Aber die Wohnung (Susino) war immer noch top: sehr gemĂŒtlich, gut eingerichtet mit allem notwendigen und die AussensitzplĂ€tze zum Geniessen. Die Lage nahe beim Dorf ist toll, die Restaurants im Dorf gut und die Aussicht auf die Landschaft traumhaft!

sejour au calme Ă  la campagne

TrÚs bon accueil de Marco et Emanuela. Logement propre et confortable de plein pied et au calme. Linge de maison fourni. Nous avons apprécié les légumes du jardin et l'accueil avec une bouteille de vin de la production du domaine. Le village est a 7 mn a pied et il y a 2 épiceries et 4 restaurants dont un qui fait de trÚs bonnes pizzas. Beaucoup de visites à faire aux alentours (Sienne, San Gimigiano, Voltera, région du chianti...)
