Beautiful, charming home with a perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere and enjoy our time. The home had all basics, bed was very comfortable, and everything was very clean and well cared for. Great trip, thank you!!

Lovey casita in great location

This historic property was a joy to stay in. Excellent location. Grocery is a short walk away, and square is a few blocks. Good restaurants in the area. Property was very clean and stocked well.

Great location

We loved being on Ledoux Street. The house was beautifully decorated with southwestern and folk art. It was very comfortable. We were walking distance from the plaza, bent street and many museums and galleries. The heat made noise at night. The bathroom is at the other end of the house from the bedroom. Minor issues. The car had to be parked on the street because only a small car will fit inside the gate. We were a little nervous but it turned out fine. With the attached casita and more across the street, it would be a great space for gathering! Fun!0

This historical casita is perfect for us. Location we love as we have family within walking distance but we are repeat customers because we love the casita and our host: Helen. Also, had a chance to meet one of owners. They have at least 3 casitas at this location. Having toured one other, I’d recommend the 2 story as well. We go twice a year. Very happy!

Absolutely perfect in every way.

This property is absolutely perfect in every way. Tucked away on a magical street in the center of town, it's walking distance to everything, yet feels quiet and removed. As an interior designer myself I really appreciated the tasteful decor, from the furniture to the original art to the gorgeous handwoven textiles. No detail was spared. I also loved having the possibility of renting the neighboring unit when traveling with a larger party. We will be returning and can highly recommend this lovely casita.

Wonderful home in a great location

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Casa De Flores and positively loved everything about it. The house itself was perfect for a couple traveling alone as we felt like we had great space to stretch out. The furnishing are all comfortable and the house is wonderfully decorated. The location can't be beat. There is a fantastic grocery store 5 min walk away as well as dozens of restaurants. The caretaker was extremely responsive from initial inquiry through reservation and then again when we needed her assistance during our stay. Three restaurants we would recommend within a short walk are El Gamal, Byzantium, and Chalupps Pizza (just pizza, but very tasty if you like NY style).

Loved it. Loved it loved it. Convenient ly located. Beautifully appointed/ decorated. Comfy. The only downside was that the ad on vrbo showed a connected room with a desk and daybed. On thee basis of the photo and description, we invited a friend to visit for a couple of nights. However, when we arrive d we were told that only two people could stay there. even though there was and additional bed. Big disappointment. Fortunately, our friend could stay at another friend’s home. Aside from this disappointing glitch, we loved our. 12 day stay.when

Lovely casita, perfect location

You could not ask for a better location--walking distance to the Plaza, next door to museums and two good restaurants. The place itself is both beautiful and comfortable. The property manager is way beyond accommodating. We loved our stay there. Two small reservations that may or may not be important to you: the internet is quite slow and the signal doesn't reach through the whole casita. If you're planning a trip that relies on internet availability, it is a consideration. The bathroom is on the opposite side of the casita from the bedroom; if you are a person who has to get up multiple times in a night to go the bathroom, it is a tad inconvenient.

Charming historic home right in the middle of everything

We loved our stay in Casa De Flores! Communication was great and we arrived for our Christmas week stay to a warm and inviting home. It a historic home, with requisite odd angles, but had all the modern amenities and was very clean and really well kept. The layout was fantastic; if you can't tell from the pictures, think of a 'U'. You enter to the living room at the base of the U and one side is the bedroom and the other is the kitchen/laundry/bathroom. (In the exterior pictures, there's a door off the bedroom and one off the kitchen-- yes, three doors, a convenient quick for an old house.) My family of four felt like we had plenty of space and the separation allowed for banging around in the kitchen early without disturbing those still sleeping. The location is fantastic, just a few steps to Taos Square and Bent St shops. Area ski resorts are less than an hour drive away. Our big SUV didn't fit into the spot, but we parked parallel to the street across the driveway and that worked best. A few people across the street parked perpendicular to the street had trouble getting out because Ledoux is very narrow. The front courtyard was a great bonus space that let our dog roam a bit, while still being behind a short wall and gate. We had to walk a bit to find a place she could do her business, but Taos is generally very dog friendly. The wifi worked well enough for streaming. We brought our own to watch movies at night. If you have teenagers with lots of devices, it might be a bit slow. All the more reason to put down the phone and enjoy vacation. We would love to come again during the summer. Our winter trip was great and I definitely recommend this property.

Historic Adobe Right Off The Plaza

Enjoyed a long weekend at this beautiful, historic adobe house tucked in among the art galleries. We walked to the plaza for dinner and shopping. I really enjoyed talking to the artists in the various co-ops about their art for sale. We'll be back!

Excellent Location

This home is a beautifully remodeled adobe conveniently located near the plaza with dedicated parking. The kitchen was phenomenally equipped, which made meal preparation a joy. Loved having a washer and dryer--really lightened our load. The wine bar down the street had great music, nice wine and live music and we enjoyed several meals out that were delicious. The jazz society performance at the civic center was a nice surprise and Fechin House was the best museum home we've ever visited. The entire stay was amazing and we highly recommend a stay in this home.

We loved our stay

This was our first time to Taos. The location was perfect, right in the centre of town. We could walk everywhere. This is such a lovely adobe home. It is cozy and comfy. The hosts are exceptionally prompt over email and I can't say enough good things. This is a wonderful place for a romantic getaway.
