Two Bedroom Private Home Close to Everything
Are you interested in your very own secluded private pool - NOT shared by anybody but you and your family or friends? Then look no further. If you are traveling with a pet do not press the book it now button. Pets are considered but you must send an email through VRBO first so we can gather some info in order to make an informed decision.
Note on stays of 31 days or longer NO tax is collected. VRBO will show tax on your price quote so please ignore that as will remove it if we draw up a lease.
Beautiful home in the highly Sought after area called 'The Cove' If you are looking for a place to stay during Cochella Music Festival we are 25 minutes from the festival. The Cochella rates are priced as a special event. Please go to the pricing page to see prices. Many of the major events such as Stagecoach and other events are held at the Indio Polo Grounds. Our location is ideal because we are only 20 minutes away from Indio. If you stay in the heart of Palm Springs you will need to add another 15 minutes drive time.
Located right off Palm Canyon with views across the desert. Just a few short miles from the heart of Palm Springs shopping, hotel and restaurant district.
Just far enough away to be out of the traffic, crowds and madness but close enough to indulge when you feel like it.
The home is on 9,000 square feet of land that has both a gated grassy back yard, gardens on all sides of the home and a lush new pool with landscaped area surrounding.
The pool area is VERY child safe as it requires a lock code to pass through it's 5 foot gate. We often get asked if the pool is a shared pool because of the number of umbrella's and size of the yard. The pool is NOT shared. It is 100% yours. Nobody can see into the pool area making it very private for those who really appreciate a secluded pool area.
The property has electric gates requiring keypad access. The tall hedges assure our guest extra privacy.
The interior is modern and very nicely decorated. It includes lovely art and accent pieces.
The kitchen as well as all it’s appliances are new. The living, dining area is very spacious with an over sized picture window with views of the pool, mountains and desert. The kitchen has views of the gardens, yard and sculpture.
The pool is lush and has four chairs for poolside dining. There are four lounge chairs, landscape lighting and lovely pool lighting.
The home also has a large upper deck that overlooks the pool and mountains with two sofas and four chairs for late night cocktails and star gazing. This area is also safe for kids as there is coded access to the pool area required.
The home is equipped with an exterior outdoor BBQ and stainless steel serving tray on wheels as well as all the utensils.'
The living room has a desk for those that need to work a bit. And of course the house has WIFI.
All three televisions in the home are flat panel with DVR's on all of them. Recording your favorite shows will be just a click away.
Feel free to bring your iPod as there is a docking station so you can play your favorite music.
Our location gives you the best of all worlds. You are right in the middle between Downtown Palm Springs and Palm Desert/ Rancho Mirage. This location allows you to take advantage of all the surrounding areas.
Many years ago Downtown Palm Springs was the place to be. All that has changed. Palm Desert/Rancho Mirage has some of the finest restaurants as well as more shopping areaa. And keep in mind The top pick for Coachella Valley Casinos is the Fantasy Springs Resort in Indio which is about 25 minutes from the house. There are 40 table games and 2,000 slots in all denominations. They feature off-track betting, and have a large Bingo hall. The grounds there are beautiful, and there is an outdoor concert area called the Rock Yard which is out of this world. There is a good reason why Fantasy Springs Resort Casino was named a 2010 Casino Player Best of Gaming Winner! Even if you don't gamble all the Casino's have great nightly entertainment and some wonderful restaurant choices.
12% tax and a $150.00 departure cleaning will be added to the rates posted. In addition you will be offered an option to heat the swimming pool. If you choose to heat the pool the cost will be $30.00 per day.
Cleaning fee $150 & 12% tax on all rentals. Please note, pet requests for this home will be considered. If accepted pets are $25.00 per night per pet. VRBO shows the fee to be a flat rate of $25.00 for the entire stat. This is NOT correct. There is no way for us to correct this on their site.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable
We LOVED our stay here last weekend. It was exactly as advertised. Judy was helpful and communicative before, during, and after our stay. The neighborhood was quiet, beds comfortable, pool was awesome (there were even some pool toys in a bin to borrow!), landscaping was gorgeous and the kitchen was well stocked. We really had a great time and are so grateful for our stay here. Try the Sunshine Cafe just down the road for a nice diner breakfast and make sure to check out Sam Cobb Date Farm if you get a chance!

Swimming Pool makes the property. Quiet neighborhood. Nice walks/hikes near. Clean and easy to use. Close to many things with easy access.
Lots of codes! Refrigerator leaked and we had to defrost the ice maker twice. Shower is very difficult to regulate hot and cold.
Bottom line. We would rent this property again. Judy was very helpful. Sing up was comber sum.
Glad you had fun and enjoyed your stay. I wish you would have let me know about the refrigerator during your stay. I would have had a technician over to fix it right away. We can't fix what we don't know about!

Cathedral City Home with Pool
The home is very nice and was located centrally for us. The heated pool is awesome and makes the rental worth it. The living room area is open and roomy. The kitchen is updated and very clean. The bathroom could use some updating. Also, the second bedroom would be better if it had a queen size bed (versus the single bed with a pullout bed under it to make two beds). Overall, we enjoyed the rental.
Glad you had fun. We have the trundle bed to give us the most versatility. Often times it is a mom & dad with a couple of kids. Be that the case, we need two singles. Other times it is two couples & we need a queen. The good thing about a trundle bed is the one bed rolls out from under the other one and pops up to the same height as the top bed. This makes a queen. So in the end, we can almost make everybody happy.
Great first family vacation
Had a lovely time at this property with our 4 month old. We enjoyed the beautiful heated pool as well as the lush greenery surrounding the house. The landscaping really highlights the view of the mountains.
Lots of outdoor seating. Great kitchen, meeting all our needs for meal prep. Would highly recommend!

Did not not meet my expectations
The property itself is very nice and yes very private. Nicely decorated but a few things should be updated, for me top of the list would be bedding, new everything, pillows especially. The check in instructions were not clear for example it mentioned the pool being cleaned Monday's and Thursday and it also mentions a pool person coming every Tuesday and Friday.
I'm pleased your opening remarks started with "The property itself is very nice and yes very private" I would imagine that meant you enjoyed yourselves overall. I did check to see what you were referring to with regard to confusion over pool cleaning dates. You are correct. The pool people at one time were coming on Tuesday & Friday. They now come on Monday and Thursday. I re-typed the confirmation and mistakenly left one sentence in there with the old dates. Thanks for pointing that out. Not a single review prior to yours mentioned the bedding needing any replacement parts! Nonetheless I will take a very close look at the bedding when I go to do my next property inspection. Thank you for your input.
