Wonderful getaway with stunning views

Everything about our stay was perfect. The position of the house with it's amazing views, the quality of the furnishings and the communications from the hosts, including meeting us and showing us around in person. The location is so peaceful, but only a short drive or taxi into La Herradura itself, so you really do have the best of both worlds. The communal pool is only a two minute walk away and is a very good size, in well kept grounds and once again, with stunning views. We loved our time here and will definitely be back!

Toujours aussi exceptionnel

C'est la troisième fois que nous revenons dans ce très agréable appartement décoré, meublé et équipé avec beaucoup de gout. Les vues de la terrasse sont spectaculaires avec la mer à 360 degrés et la piscine de la résidence très agréable. Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins. Merci beaucoup

Séjour à la Herradura

Très bon accueil de la part d'Emilio et de Rosa qui ont été très prévenants et nous ont fourni une multitude de renseignements sur la région. Maison agréablement meublée avec goût et vue à 180 degrés sur la baie des deux terrasses. A recommander.

Ferien in La Herradura am Cerro Gordo

Sehr schönes Reihenhaus am Hang in einer größeren Anlage am Cerro Gordo. Wunderschöner Blick auf die Bucht von La Herradura, die Punta de le Mona und das Meer. Sehr schöner Gemeinschaftspool mit Blick in die Berge, die Bucht und das Meer. Wir haben diesen Urlaub sehr genossen.

UN REMANSO DE TRANQUILIDAD

De entrada, comentar que las fotos hacen justicia a la casa. El alojamiento consta de dos plantas con todas las comodidades que podríamos tener en nuestro propio domicilio. Emilio y Rosa han estado pendientes en todo momento de nosotros facilitando muchísima información útil para nuestra estancia en La Herradura y alrededores. Teníamos aire acondicionado en toda la casa. Utensilios de cocina completísimos y una terraza espectacular en la que prácticamente pasamos la mayoría del tiempo. No obstante la ola de calor de este verano 2021 estuvimos bien. Lástima que lo tengamos a 950 Km. para poder repetir. En definitiva, totalmente recomendable.

A house with an amazing view

The view is incomparably beautiful. Enjoy the morning when the sun rises and the evening at sunset. This home and house is a home away from home with beautiful furniture throughout and a stunning patio directly adjacent to the spacious kitchen with lots of plants and comfortable seating. Plus balconies higher up. It is easy to get up in the mountains to Granada and the Alhambra and you can reach Nerja easily both via the coastal road and the highway. The hosts are genuinely very nice people.

verblijf in La Herradura.

op de woning op zich valt niets aan te merken. alles ziet er schoon en netjes uit. de eigenaar en zijn vrouw doen er alles aan om je verblijf aangenaam te maken. een hartelijk welkom viel ons ten deel. handdoeken en linnen zijn in voldoende mate aanwezig. wij vonden het bed ook erg lekker liggen. wat wel jammer is, is het enigszins gedateerd meubilair dat niet erg comfortabel zit. omdat het in onze eerste week een aantal dagen heeft geregend, is het jammer dat de patio niet overdekt is. nu hebben we een aantal keren alle kussens naar binnen moeten brengen. ook die van de stoelen bij de tafel. de weg naar het strand en dus ook naar het dorp is op enkele plaatsen erg steil. een wandeling daarheen zal zeker behoorlijk wat moeite kosten en is eigenlijk niet te doen. zeer gastvrij en verder een heerlijke rustige plek net buiten het dorp.

Magnífica estancia en La Herradura

La casa es lugar precioso y tranquilo con unas vistas extraordinarias. El mobiliario era muy cónfortable, bastante nuevo y la decoración perfecta para estar como en casa. No le faltaba un detalle. Un lugar donde relajarse y pasar unas deliciosas vacaciones. Emilio y Rosa estuvieron en los detalles para que no nos faltara de nada. Muy amables y diligentes. Repetiremos en cuanto se pueda.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis

Het huis van Emilio en Rosa ligt op zo’n 3km rijden van het dorp. Gelegen op de berg met een prachtig uitzicht waar je vanaf het terras optimaal van kunt genieten. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, zelfs de vaatwastabletten en wasmiddel mag je gebruiken. Het zwembad ligt op 30m loopafstand en groot genoeg. Naast dat Emilio en Rosa je hartelijk ontvangen blijven ze ook tijdens je verblijf heel gastvrij en geven tips voor plekken die je kunt bezoeken, restaurants en wijn die je moet proberen. Zeer gastvrij en een heerlijk rustige plek net buiten la Herradura.

Très beau séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette propriété. La Herradura est une charmante petite station assez calme par rapport aux autres stations environnantes. La proximité de la mer et des montagnes donne des paysages magnifiques. La propriété dispose de tout ce dont nous avions besoin et que dire de sa terrasse sur laquelle nous avons passé la majeure partie de notre temps. La vue sur La Herradura, la mer et les montagnes y est fantastique. Les propriétaires, Emilio et Rosa sont extrêmement accueillants et très disponibles. De plus nous avons reçu des tas de conseils très détaillés sur les lieux à visiter, les restaurants, magasins etc .... Bref nous n'avons eu qu'un seul regret : que nos vacances soient terminées ! Je recommande fortement cette location. Laurent

Just perfect!

We have been renting houses for the past 20 years and I have to say that this has to be one of the best experiences we had. We were impressed how nice Emilio and Rosa were. From the first email exchange to welcoming us in person, to the little attentions that do make all the difference (providing toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, body lotion, plenty of towels), you feel like you are enjoying a friend's house, not just a rental. What else can we add? Kitchen is well equipped, beds are comfy, the whole apartment is comfy, although you just want to be on the terrace all the time! Like everybody else, we just couldn’t get enough of the view, the terrace is absolutely wonderful!!! The weather was splendid (we were there from June 16th to 23rd), between 21-28 degrees. There are many walking/hiking trails that leave from La Herradura, from easy to difficult. Finally, Emilio will provide all the information you need on where to eat, drink and shop, you are in good hands in a very nice spot. All that made it very hard to leave!

A relaxing haven with the most fantastic views

This villa really was a home from home with beautiful furnishings throughout and a fantastic patio with lots of plants and comfortable seating. In fact being so cosy it was hard to find the motivation to go out anywhere but there is plenty to do in the area and La Herradura is not over commercialised. We visited Granada ( 1 hour by car) which is lovely and the road up in to the Sierra Nevada is a stunning drive with lots of very impressive bridges. Malaga is a beautiful city outside of the airport and we loved it.We walked the Los Cahorros Gorge...simply stunning and very exciting and kayaked round the coast with a guided group ( from Maro beach not Nerja which is much less touristy). We also enjoyed the shared pool every evening ...when we had it to ourselves! The host Emilio will give you lots of helpful advice about the area and good places to eat ...we especially liked the "Dorada plato " restaurant at the end of the beach in Almunecar where they BBQ fish outside in an old boat...the best fish ever and a lovely clean restaurant. Overall a really relaxing and inexpensive holiday...thoroughly recommended.
