Excellent

The house was beautiful and the rooms were excellent. Maryline was a wonderful host, making us feel very welcome. We loved the local area and enjoyed all the fantastic places that we visited.

From start to finish the owner was amazing. Great communication and when we arrived check in was seamless. The house and grounds are nothing but amazing. The whole stay was relaxing and peaceful.Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds and lounge.Breakfast and outdoor dining on the large patio was perfect with a BBQ area already setup. This is the best place we have stayed in France. Thank you again

Great Property

A lovely Gite with a very welcoming and helpful owner (Maryline,thank you). A good location and perfect for our relaxed short break and very well equipped. As other reviews…truly fantastic and delicious home made rice pudding as a gift from Maryline. We may return.

Peaceful and picturesque

We really enjoyed our time at Manoir De La Champagne. It was easy to find and Maryline was lovely- really helpful and we loved the farm tour, rice pudding and regular milk deliveries. The house is in a beautiful and tranquil part of Normandy. It is a short drive to the beach and to Periers where there are local amenities.. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the local wildlife around the lake at the end of the garden. Perfect for a family get-together.

A Great Location from which to Visit Normandy

Your in for a great adventure. Maryline and her husband have been working on this home for the last 30+ years. Bring the family. I can't say enough good things for this hidden gem. I look forward to bringing others with me when I return. We had a medical issue requiring a perscription for one of our group. We worked with Maryline and had a persription sent to her which she printed and then called the local pharmacy to help us pick up the medication. Many Thanks Maryline!!!!!

Delightful gite

We loved our stay in this delightful gite and the owner was absolutely lovely. We do have issues about how it was listed through VRBO however as we requested a swimming pool in our search and there wasn't one (but a couple of photos that hinted at it), plus the VRBO support info stated the beach was much closer than it was in their overview info so VRBO were erroneous in their search engine listings. That said, it was a fabulous place and the photos don't do it justice. The outside eating area was perfect and it was great having a bedroom on the ground floor with wheelchair access for my daughter. She couldn't use the ensuite, but could use the shower in the jacuzi so that was great. And the jacuzi was devine! Only compliments for the gite and owner, but disappointed with VRBO.

Ein wunderschönes Haus, sehr geräumig. Jedes Zimmer mit separatem Bad. Großzügiger Garten. Maryline und ihre Familie sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, man fühlt sich jederzeit willkommen. Als Zugabe gibt es frische Milch von den zahlreichen Rindern des Hofes. Auf Wunsch gibt es eine sehr interessante Bauernhofführung.Das Haus eignet sich ideal, um mit dem eigenen Auto die Umgebung und die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen. Wir haben hier mehr als 2 sehr schöne Wochen verbracht.

Super Familienurlaub!

Die Gastgeberin Marilyn hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen! Wir haben jeden Tag frische Milch von den eigenen Kühen bekommen, außerdem hat sie uns einen selbstgebackenen Reis Pudding gebracht! Das Haus ist wirklich wunderbar, vor allen Dingen auch warm. Im Garten gibt es ein Haus mit einem Whirlpool. Den haben wir auch täglich sehr genossen.

Accueil 5 étoiles

Marilyne nous a très bien accueilli, a été très arrangeante pour l’installation de la literie. Le gîte était au-delà de nos attentes : site exceptionnel et intérieur très bien meublé et cosy.

Great vacation in Normandy

Maryline and her husband gave us a very warm welcome on their farm. The house is spacious and nicely decorated. Big kitchen. We had a nice time in the jacuzzi. Comfortable beds. There are fish in the pond - bring your fishing-rod. Beautiful cats and birds. We had a very interesting farm tour and learned a lot about modern automatic milk production. The milk is delicious. Maryline knows everything there is to do and see on the Cotentin peninsula - no dull day.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren diesen Sommer dort und waren sehr angetan von diesem einzigartigen Anwesen. Nicht zuletzt durch die sehr nette Betreuung durch die Vermieter, die direkt nebenan wohnen, hatten wir eine tolle Zeit! Vielen Dank nochmal an Maryline und ihre Familie, die uns eine Führung durch ihren Milchbetrieb gegeben haben - Kälbchen streicheln inbegriffen und jeden Tag frische Milch! Das Haus bot Platz für uns 9 und ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Sehr idyllisch und ruhig gelegen. Gute Betten und schöne Zimmer alle mit eigenem Bad...auch ein großer Pluspunkt! Der Whirlpool war sehr entspannend, sauber und in einem kleinen Poolhaus untergebracht...trotzdem dieser extra zu buchen war, was aus dem Inserat nur sehr versteckt hervorgeht. Auch der See hinterm Garten (einer von uns hat darin mit Hingabe geangelt), Tischtennisplatte und Platz zum Fussballspielen waren da und haben uns die Zeit vertrieben wenn das Wetter eher mäßig war! Schöne Ziele in der Umgebung wenn auch nur mit mind. 30 Minuten Fahrzeit zu erreichen (ausser den Strand in Pirou ca. 10 min Fahrtzeit). Alles in Allem ein toller Urlaub!!!

Very nice place with fine travelling distances to major sights

This is a great place to stay, plenty of rooms and space, also outdoor. Very relaxing views from the garden to the little lake and the cows on the fields. Easy to visit St. Mont Michel, landing beaches, and other sights. The neighboring town, Periers has all necessary shopping opportunities. If you like it there is an option to have the usage of a large Spa, at added cost - see the options. The hosts are very friendly and very happy to help. A clear recommendation from us.

75th Anniversary Stay

We could not have been happier with our visit. It was such an important trip for us as 3 families, our husbands all 82nd Airborne paratroopers - 2 doing a historic cross channel jump into Sannerville on the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. We could not have asked for better hospitality and a lovely place to end our days of touring the memories of the area. The children loved running around and playing in the yard and on the equipment (slide and swings). Everyone enjoyed the cows, and the farm tour and fresh milk!!! We would highly recommend staying here. The hosts were fantastic and always available for questions and assistance if we needed anything. We will absolutely be back for a longer stay!!!

Propriétaires à votre écoute . Visite de la ferme passionnante . Du lait frais tous les jours . Au moindre problème très forte réactivité . Des chambres avec salle de bain individuelles. De l’espace . Du calme . Et bien sûr le jaccuzi apprécié par tous.que du positif.

Wonderful! Perfect!

A gem! A fabulous spot to explore the peninsula - Mont Sainte-Michel, the Landing beaches and U.S. military cemetery and museum, the Bayeaux tapestry, and so much more. Also just to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the country - this rental was perfect and Maryline was fabulously gracious and accommodating. The house is wonderful. Unfortunately we only had four full days there. We would definitely return (and hope to!!).
