Relaxation and big city life at your fingertips.

  • 5 of 5

We were looking for a place to spend a few quiet days and we found it. Then, after enough relaxing, off we went to explore nearby cities such as Cleveland. Susan and Ralph were marvelous hosts who put their love into every detail. We are already talking about a return trip.

Unexpected Vacation Surprise!

  • 5 of 5

We chose the horse farm because it was rustic and close to biking and hiking trails, swimming and kayaking. Much to our surprise, the most interesting feature of our 4-day vacation was the delightful Attila, who oversaw the property while Susan and Ralph were away. He is an expert horseman in every sense of the word and generously shared his love and knowledge of the horses at every opportunity. It was wonderful!

Not as much privacy as we would like.

  • 3 of 5

We were a little disappointed as the "private" pool was directly behind the owner's home and not what we would consider truly private. However it was a really nice heated pool and the owners were out of town during our stay. Also the hired help was around the home almost the entire time and used the pool as well. It was quite a surprise when we returned to the home to find him and his wife in the pool. We didn't feel comfortable using the pool while they were in it. Lastly, my daughter informed me that she saw a mouse in the house on 2 different occasions but failed to let me know until we were checked out as she knew I would not be happy and would want to leave immediately. On the positive side, we really did enjoy our trip. We loved the area and the home was in a good location with easy access to many areas. We really enjoyed the trail located behind the home as well as the pool (just would have liked a little more privacy than it offered). Overall our trip was great!!
