The romantic roses including the magnificent "Pierre de Ronsard", the park with different species, the flowered vegetable garden, the chestnut grove and the arrangement of the pond gives the AME of the Rose an ever-renewed beauty and harmony.

Perfect for a group holiday

What a fantastic place. Beautiful house set in an idyllic peaceful location. The photos of this property don't do it justice. It's huge!! The most well-equipped kitchen you could dream of. Garden including private lake (which we used the paddle boards provided on) is fantastic - perfect for boules and table tennis, and our youngsters particularly liked the 'kids cabin' in the garden. Lovely outdoor shaded area with large table in - we comfortably fit 14 around it. Beware when working out room situations - the two single 'rooms' are not private rooms - more passageways leading to other rooms with single beds in. Double and twin rooms very spacious. You can find a boulangerie & patisserie 15 mins drive away. If you are happy to be in a remote house this is the one for you - a bit of a drive to anything (20 mins drive to supermarket). Would LOVE to return. Friendly hosts, perfect house for a French getaway.

Parfaite maison de campagne pour du repos

La maison est parfaite pour une grande réunion de famille. La piscine est magnifique, tout comme le jardin très fleuri. Balançoire et trampoline au top pour les enfants. Marie-Jo est une hôte très accueillante, et à l’écoute. On recommande vivement !

Enchanteur

La maison est très grande ce qui permet de ne pas être les uns sur les autres. Décorée avec beaucoup de goût, mais sans luxe superficiel ce qui permet de d'y sentir à l'aise. Vaisselle largement suffisante et ustensiles de cuisson nombreux. Coin piscine très agréable aussi, endroit très calme et reposant.. les 2 bases de loisirs à proximité ont permis aux enfants de pratiquer des sports nautiques avec beaucoup de plaisir. Marie-Jo et son mari sont très accueillants et nous espérons les retrouver l'année prochaine.

Maison de rêve pour une famille avec des petits enfants car c’est le paradis pour eux .. Marie Jo et Pierre nous ont accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse et d’attention un lieu plein de calme et de sérénité dans une région qui offre plein de possibilités.. visite de grottes, de châteaux, de parc, chasse aux trésors .. Magnifique propriété, parfait pour déconnecter et se ressourcer

Nous avons passé une semaine superbe dans cette villa très complète. Piscine pétanque billard pêche ainsi qu’une belle tablée sur la terrasse nous permettant de partager nos repas à 14 et veiller le soir. Parfait pour les enfants, parfait pour les adultes. Un peu loin de tout mais c’est ce que nous recherchions. Bel accueil de Marie-Jo. Merci pour cette belle semaine.

On ne peut pas être mieux accueilli ! propriétaires gentils et très prévenants ! le logement était parfait, nous étions 3 familles, nous avions chacun notre espace nuit tout en profitant ensemble du reste, l'extérieur était reposant et magnifique ! Je recommande !!

Une perle

Vaste, calme, confortable et pratique. En plus pleine d’âme et de confort dans un écrin de verdure. L’étang est un paradis de découvertes pour les petits, avec ses poissons, ses écrevisses et tout ce qu’ils sont les seuls à avoir déniché. Piscine parfaite pour tous. Un grand bonheur pour toute la famille. En plus plancha top, paella giga et pas un moustique. Même le chien est content.

Séjour superbe pour trois générations réunies

Accueil chaleureux, séjour très agréable. Confort, espace, jardin exceptionnel, piscine mais aussi l'étang, accessible en sécurité, pour le bonheur de 3 jeunes pêcheurs ! Belles carpes ( relâchées) et friture de gardons. Superbe semaine, nous recommandons ce gîte, absolument!

Het verblijf in deze prachtige authentieke Franse plattelands woning waar de vloeren nog echt kraken en het buitenleven je steeds aantrekt hebben wij met heel onze familie geleefd als God in Frankrijk. Alles was aanwezig om de Bourgondiër in ons zelf te laten floreren.

Très belle propriété et propriétaires très agréable

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à 11 adultes. Très belle maison ,fonctionnelle. Un très beau et immense jardin avec un étang où nous avons péché des petits gardons. Propriétaires très sympathiques. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

Superfijn huis met prachtige tuin

Vooral de tuin met mooi aangelegd zwembad, terras, buitenkeuken, trampoline, tafeltennistafel, jeu de boulebaan, meertje met SUP attributen maakt het huis tot een top locatie. Uitermate geschikt voor actieve familievakantie in de eigen tuin. Maar ook voor fietsen, rennen, wandelen een perfecte omgeving. We hadden met drie generaties een top week.

Vacances idéales

Maison louée fin juillet entre amis avec enfants et ados (12 pers). Les extérieurs sont très beaux, composés d'espaces variés :  la fraîche pergola pour prendre les repas, des salons de jardin autour de la piscine, l'étang et son ponton, les 2 ravissants potagers où l'on peut piocher... Nous avons très bien dormi : très calme et literie confortable. Les propriétaires nous ont très bien accueillis et mis à l'aise. Le fait que ce soit leur maison principale est un plus, elle est très bien équipée (rien ne manque) et chaleureuse. C'est une maison dans laquelle nous aimerions revenir !

SUPER!

Het was echt fantastisch in dit mooie grote huis in de Dordogne. Het huis, de tuin, het zwembad en het meertje zijn nog mooier dan het op de foto's lijkt. Marie-Jo & haar man zijn echt geweldige mensen. Ze deden alles om ons thuis te laten voelen. We gaan volgend jaar weer!

Tout simplement parfait

Un accueil tellement sympathique, chaleureux et détendu. Une propriété dans laquelle vit cette famille depuis plusieurs générations, ce qui lui donne un véritable caractère. Un endroit idéal pour passer des vacances en famille/avec des amis. La configuration est parfaite pour cela : vous pouvez vous isoler avec un bouquin ou aller faire une sieste dans le jardin à l'écart, mais également être ensemble/ vous voir, que vous soyez sur la terrasse, dans la piscine, sur le terrain de pétanque à jouer au ping-pong ou bien dans l'étang. La cuisine est fonctionnelle - belles possibilités de cuisiner pour plusieurs à l'ext. également. Les chambres sont très agréables. C'est vraiment un sans faute. Marie-Jo, on veut reveniiiiiiiir !!!!!

Magnifique 9/10!

Location magnifique, accueil charmant, très propre. Une grande maison avec beaucoup de caractère, tout confort, un beau jardin, une piscine agréable et un grand étang ou les enfants se sont bien amusés. Grande terrasse avec feu pour cuisiner et une superbe vue, très tranquille. La seule raison pour laquelle je ne donne pas un 10/10 est la crainte que je n’arriverais plus à louer la prochaine fois à cause de complet… Een grote, charmant gerenoveerde hoeve met veel karakter en alle comfort. Zeer mooi gelegen, rustig, met een fantastisch zicht. Drie niveau’s buiten, met een groot buitenterras (gedeeltelijk overdekt), een zwembad en een grote zwemvijver. Prachtige locatie, fantastische ontvangst, zeer proper. Ik geef geen 10/10 want dan riskeer ik niet opnieuw te kunnen boeken wegens volzet ;-)

Une maison à recommander !

Un coin merveilleux de France où nous avons passé de très agréables vacances en famille. La maison est conforme à la description, tout était très propre et en ordre, elle est très bien équipée, le linge de maison tout à fait suffisant. Nous avons avantageusement profité de la grande terrasse ombragée, de la piscine clôturée (mais avec une barrière encore trop facile à ouvrir par les petits) et de l'étang où se sont déroulées joutes nautiques et dérives paresseuses. Le jardin très fleuri et odorant a beaucoup de charme, la vue est superbe ! bref un endroit à recommander très vivement aux grandes familles ou groupe d'amis.
