Very nice home with a great location.
Property was as advertised. Nice clean home that was well appointed with incredible views.
Terrific lake house, fantastic location
The setting of this house is really terrific. The lake views are wonderful and the location from a boating perspective is excellent. The house itself matched our expectations. We had 5 and plenty of space for all of us together or to separate off a little bit. The only negative was that there is no wifi and very limited cell phone signal (ATT or Verizon). Could make calls but not internet so not good for a working vacation-- but the lake is too delightful to waste time working anyway.
Gorgeous lakefront home
One thing that should be noted for prospective renters with boats: you can not turn around with a boat trailer on this road. You have to launch your boat and drive it in. You need to unhook your boat trailer to park it at the house.
Perfect location on the lake.
We had such a great time in your home! The bay water was so warm to swim and play in and it was so nice to have the dock just right there! We had fun in the paddle boat and kayak! The kitchen is nice and comfortable to cook in. All appliances worked great! The neighbors were so kind and friendly to us and invited my kids to do pop it’s and sparklers at their house for the 4th of July. Our kids are used to enjoying lighting fireworks and we didn’t buy any because we aren’t allowed at the rental (totally makes sense)! But it was kind of them to invite them over and share! Also, for the 4th, Gozzer Ranch fireworks can be seen perfectly from here. We drove up the hill behind the property to see CDAs because we didn’t have a boat, but honestly Gozzer Ranch’s were better. And then all the neighbors in the bay had long aerial firework shows on all their docks as well. So it was a party and a great night!
This property is about a 20 minute drive to CDA town. It’s a hidden gem in my view. Beautiful! The cabin had everything we needed as far as home supplies, laundry detergent, garbage bags and towels. It doesn’t have toiletries so make sure you bring those. There is filtered water jugs for drinking water. And the patios were so nice.
I read a review complaining about a road in between the home and the lake. This is a tiny very little traveled dirt road used by the few people who are driving to their cabin down the road. I bet during our 5 day stay a SLOW car passed 10 times. I was never worried about this with kids. I was way more concerned about watching them in the water then the little dirt road. It wasn’t an issue at all.
The only thing I feel like is worth mentioning to others is this! To get your stuff in the house you take a flight of stairs up to the front door. On this level is the living room, the small room with bunk beds, and laundry room, bathroom and bedroom with two queen beds. Then you take another flight of stairs to get to the master bedroom and kitchen, and one more bathroom. I only want to mention that so that anyone that has a problem carrying bags up two flights of stairs or even climbing stairs, this cabin is a deal breaker for you! We are fairly young and healthy and I honestly enjoyed the extra calorie burning climbing up and down. But for someone with disabilities, this wouldn’t work. Just know that and all else was perfect!
Thank you for letting us enjoy your home!
Great house! Good location.

About Wayne Callender
Hi, my name is Wayne. I live in Boise and bought this property in 2004 for family and friends to come rest, relax and enjoy. The views of Lake Coeur d'Alene are breathtaking. We often get wildlife around the bay, including Bald Eagles, Moose, Geese and Deer. I am sure you will love this bay as much as we do. This area of the lake is protected and calm, yet close to Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Why Wayne Callender chose Harrison
Our home is directly on the lake, and it’s a 20-minute car ride to Coeur d Alene, bike and hiking trails. It is a 5-10 minutes boat ride to restaurants, nightly entertainment, local coffee shops, grocery store, and fuel for the boat is directly across the bay. You can take relaxing walks in the morning and evening or dangle your feet in the water as the sun sets. You can enjoy your favorite beverage from the top deck and watch the deer as they nibble from the trees. The National forest is minutes away and boat rentals close by.
What makes this House unique
Our home is designed for FAMILY FUN, it has a kayak, paddle boat, rubber water rafts, life vests, water toys, room to dock your boat and/or wave runners. You can swim off the dock. The water is calm and clear.
