“CanPirotBcn” is a cozy home for up to 4 guests, carefully restored and equipped with all the comfort needed for temporary residential stays, such as work assignments, studies, research, renovation of the main residence, or medical treatment.
Located 15 minutes by metro from Barcelona city center and next to the Collserola Natural Park. It features a living-dining room with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, two double bedrooms, and a full bathroom. Surrounded by a a big terrace and garden.

Our lovely cottage for 1 month

We had a very nice stay and Emma who owned the house is a very nice lady and so is her husband the house is a lovely little house with everything you need and the yourney to Barcelona takes about a half our and then you are on the famous la Rambla so everything made our hollidays very complete.

Perfect stay

Our month stay was amazing. Emma and her family are incredible people. So welcoming and always there if you need something. The house is comfortable enough for 2-4 people and we loved our daily walks in the mountain. The house is 10 min walk to the train station and 20 min ride away from Barcelona city center, just perfect. Thank you so much again for everything!

At home in the Collserola!

We very much enjoyed our two-month stay in the Baixador de Vallvidrera. Our hosts were so gracious (perfect balancing privacy and support), the house beautifully equipped, the surrounding nature a balm to busy Barcelona! We didn’t have a car, yet it was a 10 minute walk to the train station— which then provides easy access to the city center or anywhere else you need to go. (We recommend the Mercadona/market stands next to the Mirasol station for groceries.) Especially loved sitting on the terrace, hearing the birdsong, and watching for boars! An absolutely wonderful rental experience.

Perfect property to experience Barcelona and also a tranquil environment

We stayed a month in the property. That is a big commitment to a property without viewing it. We were guided by the previous reviews and we were not disappointed in any way. We hit the wettest four weeks in living memory, but never felt "trapped". The house was well equipped and spacious enough to work, relax, make ambitious meals etc. And Barcelona is just 20 minutes away by light railway after a pleasant 15 minute walk. Emma and Nico were very friendly and helpful hosts. We will always remember the month very positively.

Tolle Lage, in der Natur aber zentral für Barcelona-Besuch

Wir haben dem Aufenthalt genossen! Tolle Lage, super Terrasse, alles sauber, nette Vermieter und nur wenige Minuten von der S-Bahn-Station entfernt. Alle sechs Minuten fährt die S-Bahn in die Stadt, nach 15 Minuten ist man mittendrin. Zu empfehlen!!

Excellent address to visit Barcelona

If you enjoy visiting a big city but like having a quiet evening now and then, this is a perfect place to stay. In just half an hour you're in the centre of Barcelona but once home, there's only peace and tranquility (except for an occasional concert given by the dogs in the neighbourhood). Emma is an excellent host, willing to provide you with every bit of information you're looking for. Everything you need is provided and the house was spotlessly clean upon arrival. A car is not really necessary but it does come in handy if only to do the groceries since the closest shop is still a brisk half hour walk. But other than that, we can thoroughly recommend this property.

Charmante maison, au calme, et idéale pour visiter Barcelone

Nous avons apprécié le cadre et l'emplacement de la maison, idéalement située pour accéder rapidement au centre ville tout en étant "à la campagne" et bien équipée. Relation de confiance et très bons échanges avec les propriétaires. Il manquait juste une clim pour passer des nuits un peu moins étouffantes fin aout...avec cela c'était "Parfait".

La campagne à la ville

Une beau petit cocon au sein de la verdure tout proche de Barcelone. Profitez de cet endroit calme et préservé pour vous reposer des escapades barcelonaises. La maison est comme décrite sur le site, très bien équipée, très agréable et le métro à côté est très appréciable, pas obligé de se déplacer avec sa voiture dans Barcelone. Nous avons aimé prendre notre petit déjeuner à l'extérieur tous les matins. Climatisation manquante à l'étage lorsqu'il fait très chaud. Les locataires sont à côté, très appréciable en cas de besoin. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Wir (Familie mit zwei Kindern, 6 und 8) haben hier zwei wunderbare Wochen Anfang Juni verbracht. Das Häuschen ist nicht besonders luxuriös, aber sehr hübsch und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und aufmerksam, man sollte allerdings Hunde mögen - der unglaublich liebenswerte, ruhige Hund der Vermieter kümmert sich gut um die Gäste! Das Domizil ist sehr gut geeignet für Ausflüge nach Barcelona (S-Bahn, 15 Min. bis zur Stadtmitte), Wanderungen in den angrenzenden Nationalpark und mit dem Auto zu Zielen wie z.B. Kloster Montserrat. Ein Auto ist nicht Pflicht, aber sehr zu empfehlen. Insgesamt gerne wieder!!

Can Simon

We visited our daughter who lives in Gracia and we're struggling to find a last minute affordable place to stay, when we came across Can Simon. We expected it to be a trek to the city, but were pleasantly surprised by how easy and close it was. Literally fifteen minutes on the Metro to Placa de Catalonia. There is a ten minute up hill walk from the station, but it's so worth it. Can Simon is high up with beautiful views and feels like you're in the Pyrenees not minutes from the city. It's a compact, yet spacious little house, tasteful and welcoming with everything you need. My husband and I were really comfortable here and there was plenty of room when my daughter and partner came over. The family were lovely, we were picked up from the station on our first night as we arrived late, which was really kind. Make sure you take a few essential supplies as ithis is a residential area and there wasn't a shop nearby. We will be back, if only to see Moof, the family's gorgeous and friendly dog.

für Barcelona-Besuch gut geeignet

Das Ferienhaus befindet sich neben dem Vermieterhaus, allerdings mit separatem Garteneingang an einem recht ruhigen Ort, quasi auf dem Hausberg von Barcelona namens Tibidabo. Von da aus sehr schnell Barcelona-Zentrum mit der S1/S2 zu erreichen, was auch sehr zu empfehlen ist, denn (auch kostenlose) Parkplätze im Zentrum zu finden wird etwas schwierig, geschweige davon in den Schrägen richtig sicher parken zu können. Diesen Stress würde ich einfach vermeiden. Der nächste Supermarket - sogar mit ausgesprochener Fischabteilung - findet im benachbarten 3 km entfernten Ort namens Vallvidrera. Das sauber im Empfang genommenes Haus verfügt über alles Notwendige in der Küche, Bad, Wohnraum, Terrasse und Schlafräume. Eine sehr kleine Dusche, aber mit super heißem Wasser und Wasserdruck, was wir sehr genossen haben nach einem anstrengenden Marschtag. Heizung in kühlen Nachten kann man einschalten. Schade, dass der Schlafraum im ersten Stock nur teilweise vom Wohnraum abgetrennt ist, über eine sehr schmale Wendetreppe verfügt und doch etwas zu kleines Doppelbett hat. Die Terrasse ist sehr groß, barfuß angenehm begehbar und man bekommt ab und zu einen Besuch von dem besten Hund der Welt, der sich wie ein Beschützer neben der Eingangstür legt und alles aufmerksam bewacht. Dadurch haben wir uns sicher gefühlt. Internet ist leider zu langsam für unsere Verhältnisse und der Router stürzt häufig ab. Ich nehme an, dass die vom Vormieter besorgte Sachen nicht "enteignet werden", sondern im Ferienhaus verbleiben und der nächste Mieter diese Besorgungen weiterhin verbrauchen kann. So haben wir Klopapier, etwas Kaffee, Salz, Zucker und Waschpulver im Haus vorgefunden und unsere "Einkaufsreste" für die nächsten Mieter auch dort gelassen. Die Vermieterin hat fürsorglich und diskret nach unserem Wohlbefinden gefragt und Tipps gegeben, unsere Privatsphäre aber strickt bewahrt. Das war uns sehr wichtig. Außerdem haben wir zwei Hausschlüssel-Sätze erhalten sowie einen Zugangs-Schlüssel zum Parkplatz neben der Bahnstation, was sehr nützlich war: das Auto war gut direkt neben der Bahn abgestellt und man brauchte nach dem anstrengendem Tag nicht mehr bergauf zum Haus zu marschieren. Ich empfehle dieses Haus jedoch nicht den Familien mit Kleinkindern und Behinderten, weil die Terrasse nicht kindesgerecht ist und der Zugang zum Haus über mehrere Treppen erfolgt. Jedoch ist es zu empfehlen an Paare, die Barcelona und ihre Umgebung kulturell sowie gastronomisch erkunden wollen.

Bright, cozy house on the outskirts of Barcelona

Quaint house on a hillside surrounded by trees in a suburb of Barcelona. Wonderful hostess/host that were willing to accommodate our travel times and provide information and are a pleasure to talk with! They care for the property like it's their own private residence. Felt like we were staying with family or friends. The house is close to the city, but away from the bustle - just a short walk and a short train ride to downtown. Large terrace and foosball table outside provided our small kids with entertainment and a pleasant place to eat an outdoor meal. Private entrance and parking space on the street. The small kitchen was adequately-equipped for simple meal preparation; some cooking utensils were well used and could be replaced. Beautifully tiled bathroom with tub (much appreciated for small children); bath towels are quite worn and blow dryer did not blow warm air. Living/dining area is cozy for conversation, with loveseat seating for two but at an awkward angle to the television. Table is large enough for a family of four. Good lighting in the house. Master bedroom is a large, open loft area with comfortable bed, dresser, and hanging clothing area. Pillows on the beds are quite thin, but blankets and sheets were in good condition. Overall a pleasant stay. Thank you!

Beaucoup trop court

Agréable séjour, mais hélas trop court. Logement impeccable et les propriétaires très accueillants et serviables. Logement retiré de Barcelone comme on le désirait, idéal après une journée passée dans la foule. Un grand MERCI aux propriétaires pour leurs attentions et à leur fils qui nous a même aidé à porter nos bagages. Je recommande vivement et espérons pouvoir y retourner un jour.

Ostern in Barcelona

Die Beschreibung des Ferienhauses ist in jeder Hinsicht korrekt. Als Familie mit 2 Kindern war das Haus für uns ideal um Barcelona und seine Umgebung kennenzulernen. Das große Plus ist die Lage des Hauses: absolut ruhige Umgebung im Grünen, große Terrasse, mit dem Auto gelangt man in 3 Min. zum Bahnhof der S-Bahn. (Man erhält von den Vermietern einen Zugang zum kostenlosen Parkplatz am Bahnhof). Mit dem Zug eine Viertelsunde zur Plaça de Catalunya im Zentrum von Barcelona . Empfehlenswert für den öffentlichen Nahverkehr: die T10-Karte. Auch die Autobahn für eine Fahrt in das Hinterland z. B zum Kloster Montserrat ist nur wenige Minuten entfernt, ebenso der Aussichtsberg Tibidabo mit seinem Vergnügungspark. Die Betreuung durch die Gastgeber (sie Wohnen im Nachbarhaus) war stets freundlich und unaufdringlich. Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Séjour Agréable à Barcelone

Location idéale pour visiter Barcelone. A 15 min du centre ville en "RER". La gare est proche et une place de parking gratuite est à disposition (un BIP visiteur est remis en début de séjour). Bon accueil des propriétaires qui habitent la maison juste à côté.

Vacances à Can Simon

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette petite maison nichée dans la montagne. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires et leurs précieux conseils qui nous ont bien facilités la vie. La maisonnette est très agréable à vivre et très propre. Un bémol : en plein été la climatisation de la chambre mezzanine serait un plus pour les pauvres touristes qui n'ont pas l'habitude de supporter des températures aussi élevées !

Vacances citadines entre mer et colline

Gite confortable, bien équipé, doté d'une grande terrasse pour les repas en plein air, le farniente ... Situé dans un quartier de Barcelone adossé à la colline de Tibidabo, dans le parc naturel de Collserola,très bien desservi par les transports en commun, il offre de multiples possibilités de loisirs : visites, baignade, balades ... Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires (absents lors de notre séjour), agrémenté par les produits du jardin donnés à notre arrivée. Adresse à conserver en vue d'un prochain séjour et à conseiller aux amis.

une adresse a recommander

jolie maison agréable et fonctionnelle. Sa situation, dans la "campagne" de Barcelone permet de se reposer tranquillement après des journées chargées en visites et promenades. L'accès à la ville est facile grâce au train qui passe toutes les 6 minutes et dont la gare est accessible facilement soit à pied (900m) soit en voiture(stationnement possible dans un parking). Les propriétaires sont très gentils et prêts à fournir tous les renseignements pour que le séjour soit riche et agréable. En bref, une adresse que nous recommanderons à nos amis sans aucun problème.

"Très bon et très sympathique accueil de la part des propriétaires. logement correspondant tout à fait à la description, bien équipée, avec une terrasse devant, très agréable pour prendre repas et petits déjeuners. petit supermarché très bien achalandé dans la petite commune à 3 km de la gare. Il est bon d''avoir un véhicule pour se rendre à cette gare (un petit kilomètre) car après une journée de visite, la montée peut être fatigante. Cadre très agréable, un peu perturbé par la présence de moustiques et les nombreux chiens du quartier."

La maison est très bien équipée, et décorée avec beaucoup de soin. "Can Simon" is a compact, yet spacious charming single standing house, tasteful and welcoming with everything you need, perfect for up to 4 people. Located in a residential area into the Natural Parc of Collserola, 900m away from metro station, It is a short 15-minute ride on the metro to downtown Barcelona, and it has very easy access to the road network. Recently restored with all the necessary features.

Living/dining area is cozy for conversation, with fire place; Completely equipped small kitchen; Master bedroom is a large, open loft area with comfortable bed, dresser, and hanging clothing area, Plus a two double bed room downstairs and a complete beautifully tiled bathroom. We live in the same property, but in a completely independent house, so we can assure you it is a most beautiful place to live! We’ll share part of the garden, but you will have all your privacy, and we’ll be there when needed.
