Don't stay anywhere else in Charlottesville
What an amazing property and hosts. Everyone in our group (age 5-60) loved the place. So beautiful and comfortable and the farm animals are wonderful. Bill and Cynthia are so gracious and welcoming. If you are visiting Charlottesville or any place nearby, you should definitely stay here.
Brilliant vacation home experience
Stayed at Quarters Farm for three nights with a large bachelorette party, and we absolutely loved it! Bill and Cynthia were quick to respond via message/text and friendly in person. They stocked the kitchen well with cooking/dining supplies and even fresh eggs from their chickens. Five baby goats were born on their farm during our stay and we got to hold them! Also loved petting their sweet dog. The house has a historical feel (originally built before Monticello!), which was a unique, fun experience. Lots of sleeping spaces, as well as large group spaces for relaxing, playing games, etc. Great location about 10-15 minutes from downtown, UVA, Crozet, wineries, hiking areas, 45 minutes from Wintergreen, all of which we visited during our stay. Would definitely love to come back!
Han, thank you for the lovely review. We loved having you and your group stay with us. So glad it worked out for goat cuddling... everyone loves to cuddle a baby goat. Please come again.
We loved loved loved the house, farm and especially the owners. Awesome weekend!
The owners were gracious, friendly, helpful and accommodating.
The farmhouse was quaint and had historical significance.
Have told others about the experience and highly recommend renting.
Plan to rent again. Thanks for an awesome, peaceful and nature encounter.

Perfect home in country setting
Our stay at Quarter Farm could not have been any better! We were greeted by Cynthia, Bill and Sir Galahad when we arrived who toured us around the property and ensured that we had everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was absolutely immaculate and there was more than enough room for the three families who stayed (including six children). Perhaps the best part of the stay was being in the middle of a working farm. The kids were in heaven! Bill and Cynthia took the time to take them to see all the animals. Seeing how excited the kids were, they helped them feed the goats, chickens and cows. Bill also took the kids to pick eggs. Despite the rain and mud, the kids LOVED it! We were so appreciative of them taking the time out of their weekend to make the experience extra special for the kids.
It was a lovely stay, one that will not be forgotten anytime soon. We look forward to staying at Quarter Farm again!
We loved having your family here at Quarters Farm. Having the children enjoy the farm is the “highlight” of farming for us. Please come see us again 😊
275 Year Old Farmhouse!
The house is in phenomenal condition and has plenty of space on three floors. We enjoyed the period furniture and antiques which completed the colonial era home. Clean. Happy to have recycling provided. Wifi was great.
We are 12 miles from University of Virginia, 18 miles from Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, 20 miles from Wintergreen ski and golf resort. There are many winery tours, micro brewerys and restaurents.
