About the property

Cabin, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3+)

This cozy mountain hideaway, located on two acres and just ten minutes from the historic gambling town of Cripple Creek, CO and 45 minutes from Colorado Springs is just the place to experience the ultimate in peace, tranquility and privacy. You will see why we named this delightful place Altitude with Attitude!

Start your day on the bi-level deck or in the hammock with a mug of steaming hot coffee or tea served up with a gorgeous sunrise over the mountains. Surrounded by pines and aspen, the views are great any time of day or year. The deer, squirrels, fox and hummingbirds all provide up close and personal entertainment in this beautiful setting.

For activities, within a 20-45 minute drive of the cabin you can go wine tasting in Woodland Park or for the more adventurous, visit Mueller State Park, The Crags, Pikes Peak, the Dinosaur Resource Center, Cave of the Winds, Seven Falls, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, the Olympic Training Center, or the Air Force Academy to name just a few. There are numerous hikes for the active minded guests as well as some great fishing holes.

Why Sharon Sloan chose Divide

We absolutely love Colorado and wanted a place to escape to on weekends that was close to our home in Colorado Springs, but still felt like we were 'getting away'.

Very nice cabin and AWESOME views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights in August and were impressed. A bit secluded for our age. BUT very nice.We are at the point in our life that we realized we need to be in a more populated area for health reasons. The picture of Pikes Peak here doesn't do it justice it is much closer in real life.

I highly recommend this cabin.

Thank you for the hospitality

Awesome!!!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at Altitude with Attitude! Everything was perfect and just what we had hoped for. Love the remote location and being able to disconnect from everything. The only bad part was that we couldn't stay longer. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway to hike and enjoy nature, this is the perfect place to stay. Can't wait to go back!!!!!

My bride of 45 years enjoyed the privacy and seclusion and of course "The View". Very comfortable cabin. We could highly recommend staying here.

Great place for relaxing vacation

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and our two small dogs stayed in the cabin for few days. It is a very well kept and welcoming place. The mountain view is amazing and we enjoyed it every morning with coffee on the deck. The area is very quiet. It is a perfect place to get away from busy city life. We will be certainly back!
