Countryside and sea.<br>This old Alentejo farmhouse was renovated in 2003; it is located in the countryside at Herdade Vale d'el Rei, but is not isolated (there are two other houses of the same type nearby). Close to some of the country’s best beaches:<br>10 minutes from Zambujeira do Mar and Alteirinhos beaches, 15 minutes from Carvalhal Beach, and 20 minutes from Odeceixe. Other beaches are also good; closer but less well-known are those of Amália, Tonel, Brejo Largo, Furnas, Vale Figueira, Malhão, and Amado.<br> The house has 450 square meters of covered space on a fenced lot of nearly 2,000 square meters. The interior stands out for its natural coolness, which is a true blessing on hot summer days. Outside, there is a 25-square-meter pergola (shed) and an excellent barbecue for grilling meat and fish. In addition to the beds that sleep 11 people, there is a comfortable sofa bed that can accommodate two more people.<br>For winter or colder weather, the house is equipped with a fireplace, a wood-burning stove, and firewood for use as desired, as well as electric heaters and water heaters in every room.<br>*IMPORTANT INFORMATION<br>Fixed rates are based on a maximum capacity of 13 people.
