4 Night Stay in October
We had a great 4 day stay as a family of four. The location is out of the tourist-y areas but a two minute walk to two separate metro lines. Everything was clean and there was fantastic original artwork throughout the apartment. The kitchen and living rooms are great. Plenty of common space and all of the kitchen supplies we needed. It was very nice to have all the bedrooms on different levels for privacy. The showers had plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Francois was there to greet us when we arrived and recommended the restaurant down the street, Le Bistrot d'Avron. It was one of our best meals in Paris. There are several grocery stores, bakeries, etc. within walking distance. The neighborhood is great!
Be prepared that all bedrooms require going up or down stairs so for those who are disabled this could be tricky. We could have used more towels (only one per person). The clothes washer and dryer were great to have clean clothes but just be prepared that the dryer takes a very long time to dry your clothes. Overall, these are just minor recommendations for change. We would recommend this place to any family.
We needed face towels not only bath towels. We bought them and left them. And more glass cups for drinks.
Great space for a family. There are three levels so everyone can have time alone yet there is also a nice living room and dining space to come together. It is located steps from 2 metro stops, Buzenval and Avron, which was great for commuting into the heart if the city. We enjoyed staying in the quieter outskirts. There is a wonderful grocery a few doors down. I loved that we entered through a doorwayviff the main Street but the apartment was in a secured courtyard.
Charming flat with easy access to Paris sights
This was a great place to stay with our family of five. Lots of character and had all the basic amenities we needed. Our only challenge was the heat - temperatures were incredibly hot while we were there, which made the top level of the apartment unbearable. We adapted and made it work.
We especially loved the neighborhood cat that greeted us every morning and evening- very friendly and loved to cuddle. The flat had easy access to a few metro stations, which made it easy to get around the city. We had a little trouble finding the apartment initially, but Francois was there to guide us and greet us when we arrived. It was very helpful. We would recommend this apartment to others.
An amazing little house in Central Paris
A great little house with OK amount personal privacy for a visitor. It is situated in a courtyard between two apartment buildings so there is some neighbour traffic, but it is very private for such a big house in such a central location. We stayed a month with the family and it was a great base to explore with two metro lines within 200m and a major transport hub Nation within 5 min walk. There are some limitations in utensils and such if you are more than 6, and it probably is a very different kind of house in the summer heat and moisture (we stayed in November), but overall we enjoyed it immensely! Will stay again if work brings us back to town.
Perfect respite for families that love the city!
This is a lovely apartment that suited our family of six perfectly! Just steps from a grocery store and from the subway. It provided great respite for us at the end of a long day of tooling around Paris. The kitchen is small but we made most of our meals in it and were just fine. We came with four teenage girls and we all had room to find our own space as well as share the common spaces.
We always felt safe and we loved the city vibe. The neighbors were all cordial and we were steps from great bistros anytime we were hungry.
Francois was a perfect host - everything was as he said it would be and he was as communicative as we needed. The original artwork and general ambience of the place was exactly what we wanted. Thank you, Francois and sorry for reviewing so many months later!
