Warm usually 85 degrees when its 17 degrees in Colorado Nov- April. Very affordable! Lots to do! Have so adventure like when you had all day to be a kid;

Peace fun warmth we laugh; Love the sunrises & sunsets on the Ocean waves! The sound of the waves! The fresh air.. the calm serenity; Seeing families finding a fun zone to call their own. Going to dinner friends and talking about the days adventures!

Not as Advertised
Condo in one word, dirty. Furniture in disrepair, throw rugs were dirty and stained. Mattress was not as advertised, if there was anything new it may have been the topper.
The mistake we made was we should have cancelled the trip. wife was ill the whole time, and we had the insurance. We were actually not impress with South Padre Island, other than the beach, it was only a tourist trap.
You can rest easy we washed the new area carpets & in the new samsung washer & dyer. Hotel rooms usually don't have a washer dyer where the laundry can be easily handled.
The king bed is tailored for the room walk way. The mattress topper is a king. Fits fine. A hundred thousand people have come to South PADRE island Texas for decades. Love the easy family fun beach like you.Wish you would have let us known during your stay. So any maid issues could have been handled.

We have been staying here the last seven years. The property is well managed. The location is prime as only a five minute walk to the beach and the pool is gated. We stay long periods so the price is right.
On the island
Wish my stay was for pleasure and not work! Place was clean and in a nice setting. Will try to get it again when back in town!
Great experience
The condo was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Generally a very quiet spot away from the commotion of the island but did get a little busy around the Easter holiday. I would definitely recommend this place.

Quiet small condo a block off the beach in South Padre TX
This was an inexpensive one bedroom one bath condo with kitchen and living room. The washer and dryer was a real plus. There was a hot tub and unheated pool onsite.
When the fog lifted we spent much of our time at the beach.
