About Alexandra Eder
Corvallis has been my home for most or my adult life. I worked in the high-tech industry as a project management professional for many years and now I am enjoying using my skills in a different and creative way. Remodeling and decorating has always brought me joy. It took a number of years to update this property for sharing with travelers to the areas for business and leisure.
Alexandra Eder purchased this House in 2006
Why Alexandra Eder chose Corvallis
After renovating the property since 2006, I noticed a need for alternative lodging. We are approved by the City of Corvallis as an alternative lodging property. When folks seek an alternative lodging option to a hotel they enjoy the guest house. Conveniently located to Samaritan Medical, Hewlett-Packard and just 5-minutes to Oregon State.

A perfect place
I have just ended a two week stay at Fernwood Circle for the second year in a row. It is quiet, well appointed, very well maintained, and close to town.
Alexandra is a wonderful and thoughtful host.
I'll be staying here again later this year.
It was my pleasure to host you again this year, George. Safe travels. Enjoy the warm weather in Hawaii.
RH from Big D
My daughter plays college soccer, and I needed a place to call home on this 2 game, 4 day road trip from Texas to Oregon. Staying in a boring hotel just didn't excite me, so I turned to VRBO. Another player's dad and I decided to experience Fernwood Circle Guesthouse mainly because it aprovided us a living room, kitchen and separate bedrooms. Alexandra communicated very well with us prior to our arrival, and once we arrived, she was absolutely wonderful and gracious in welcoming us. Immediately, we were impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of the Guesthouse! The bedrooms were exactly as they appeared in the pictures, and overall, the house was even nicer than the pictures showed! During our 3 night stay, Alexandra went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and to extend us several small touches that showed us that she appreciated us. She was also extremely helpful in giving us suggestions on places to go, routes, restaurants, wineries, brew houses, you name it! We loved seeing the family of deer one evening and the next morning in the yard! How much did you pay them to do that! ;) If I ever make it to Oregon in the future, I will absolutely stay here again! I can't recommend the Fernwood Circle Guesthouse enough! Thank you Alexandra for such a perfect stay!
What an awesome review! It was my pleasure to host you two supportive Dad's. Your girls and families are very fortunate.
All the best,
I came to Fernwood Circle Guesthouse on the last night of a month long journey and I was frazzled, weary, and hungry. All of the places I called from the road were either full or charging ridiculous prices. I finally threw up my hands and asked my angels to find me a place to rest. That led me to leave a message for Alexandra and I heard back in a few moments that she had a room with a private bath. What a lovely room and guesthouse! I was sorry I was only there for one night. Everything was set up perfectly. I could tell Alexandra carefully thought out every detail to make it a pleasant experience. For example, there was a small bowl on the bedside table for jewelry or change where I placed my earrings before sleep. That bowl was set in my direct line of vision near the door, so I didn't worry about leaving my earrings behind when I checked out. There was even a large towel to drape over the TV and electronics to make the room peacefully dark at night. The well stocked kitchen and living room are organized, clean and artfully designed. Everything is set up so you can be alone or with friends and family, experiencing a peaceful sense of home. Alexandra was available to share information on Corvalis, the community, restaurants, activities, maps, biking and more. She provided a concierge app for online search of the local area. I truly felt like a guest more than a customer and look forward to returning soon.
What a great reminder about "Angels" and how they are always with you! I was great to get to visit with you. I am glad you enjoyed Corvallis. Let me know when you return with your husband. The Sage room will be perfect for the two of you.
Three days of stay at Fernwood Circle Guesthouse
I was at Fernwood Circle Guesthouse for three days back in May. The owner, Alxandra, is a considerate person and maintains a very clean beautiful place on a very quiet street. I had reserved the "Treetop Corner" room, which had its own private bathroom. I really enjoyed how quiet and clean the place was, and I had secure access to my room via a number keypad. A big bonus was that there was a well-equipped very clean kitchen where I could store or cook the food for my three days of stay there so I wouldn't have to eat out. I was there for a visit to OSU, and the place is within 20 minutes of walking distance to the OSU campus, which is important, since finding a parking spot could be difficult around the campus. There was a large living room with a balcony that opened up to a nice view, too. I didn't use the living room area, but it's there and very comfortable for unwinding. My room had a TV, too. I didn't use the TV, but I used the wireless access for connecting to the web.
Thank you P. S.
It was lovely to host you. So glad you got to reconnect with old colleagues at OSU. Let us know when you return for another visit. All the best to you.

Quiet and Comfortable in Corvallis
My son and I were visiting friends who recently moved to Corvallis from our hometown in California. This spot worked out very nicely - it had easy access to town and yet was quiet location once we were ready to settle in. The bed was very comfortable, the room quite large and the kitchen/public areas were well appointed. The owner was quick to answer questions and we had no issues.
Thanks for staying with us and also for sharing your experience at Fernwood. Let us know when you visit the area again!
The Fernwood Circle Guest House is located in a quite NW Corvallis neighborhood. Walking distance to the OSU campus and just 7-minutes from downtown Corvallis. 3- minutes to the First Alternative Grocery Store and Sam' Station - Coffee Shop and organic foods eatery.
