A Fabulous Mountain Escape Where Luxury Meets Cabin!

Bedrooms 2
Space 1,000 sq ft
Property type house
Minimum Stay 2 - 3 nights

About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, Sleeps 5

Escape to this 2 bedroom 1 bath getaway in the heart of the Big Bear Lake resort town. Enjoy being both 'off the beaten path' and central to year round activities. Don't be fooled by the log exterior of this cozy home because the interior features a full kitchen and 'great room' feel not typically shared by traditional cabins. If the sledding hill on the property or the great sledding area behind the property is not enough, the house is within walking distance to the Six Flags run amusement/water park, as well as restaurants and antique shops. Go a little farther in one direction and you will be in the beautiful 'Village', a main hub of shops, brewery's and restaurants. A little farther in the other direction and you can enjoy the scenic Boulder Bay area of the lake, a perfect place to rent kayaks and paddle boards, or just have a family picnic. This place features a romantic fireplace, a larger TV with bluray/DVD/cable functionality, as well as access to your Netflix or Vudu accounts and a full kitchen with cute dining area. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated with a king size bed in the master bedroom, and a log bunk in the second bedroom that accommodates a full size bed on the bottom and a twin up top. There is also a huge front deck with patio furniture that can accommodate up to 6 people as well as a deck in the back complete with a Bistro set for those who would rather enjoy the wilder views of nature. For those who just can't get away, there is high speed broadband internet access. All of this and a washer and dryer to get those ski outfits ready for another day on the slopes. So pack light, and please enjoy this place as much as we do!

Great house!

  • 5 of 5

Our weekend getaway was amazing. The house was perfect for 2 couples or a smaller family of 5. Very clean and looks just like the house in the photos. Would definitely recommend!

A delightfully cozy and modern cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Every aspect of this cabin was clean and modern. From the beautiful exterior and large elevated patio out front, to hard wood floors and clean well lit rooms, with even a towel warmer in the bathroom. This place has every amenity you can think of. I would absolutely come back, and will be quick to recommend to others.

Great cozy cabin with everything you need.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I and our 4-year-old son stayed here for 2 nights. The cabin is great - has everything you need, from a Keurig to extra blankets to a towel warmer! We were very happy and loved having a fireplace. When we arrived there was a minor issue with the heat and Nick was super responsive and had everything fixed right away. Plus, the cabin is in walking distance to the Alpine slide and Tubing area. So much fun!

Cozy, well decorated and all-inclusive

  • 5 of 5

My two adult kids and I had an incredible stay at this property. Everything was available to us with a lot of nice touches. The place was well decorated and very clean. My kids and I are subject to allergies due to pets and we are pleased that this place allows no animals and the wood floors helped as well. The kitchen was well stocked with some nice touches like wine (we don't drink) popcorn, spices and just about everything you have at home. We loved all the decorations, the barbecue and nice table in the front patio. Although we didn't watch much on the screen, it was available in all the rooms.

This was our best stay ever and we can't wait to return. A special thanks to Sylvia and Nicholas for this great experience on this truly charming property.
