Great family or friends accommodations. Three full baths and indoor spa is hard to find.lots of extras....pet bowls, games, poker chips, sleds, etc. owner was so accommodating to our needs. Definitely will return.

Everything was good! Nice quiet location and pet friendly. Having an electronic key pad to get into the unit would be more convenient than having to keep track of manual keys. Overall our experience was great and I would stay here again.

July vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was great. Loved the upstairs layout with the big kitchen island. Just a couple of small comments - the downstairs had a damp/musty smell and we could not figure out how to adjust the sound (too much base) on the sound bar upstairs.

Perfect 4th of July Weekend stay

Communication with the host was perfect. He helped us set up and ensure the BBQ was working so we could have a BBQ for the 4th. He also allowed an early check-in since we arrived to town early. My son had to sleep on the pull-out sofa, but as the listing says, the mattress was very comfortable. Great space for my family, and it was good for our dog with easy access to take him outside. The hot tub took a while to heat up, but once it did, it was an added benefit. Very good location, central to everything you wish to do. Also, the downstairs beds were very comfortable and clean. Thank you for a great stay!

Hi there...we would like to welcome you to our place in the mountains! Our names are Chris and Maria Hansen. We live in Orange County, CA but have always been in love with Mammoth! We enjoy the outdoors in all of the seasons...skiing in winter, hiking and biking in the spring/summer/fall months. Chris has been coming here since he was a child, having grown up in Orange County. Maria moved to California in 1990 from Texas to pursue her dance career. We come here fairly often and hate to leave! We have a four legged member of a family...a Doberman named Nika, who we rescued from the Orange County shelter in 2010. She loves it in Mammoth! We hope you enjoy our home away from home!

Why they chose this property

The minute that we walked into this property, we knew it was the place for us! The upgrades were so impressive and beautiful. Maria loves to cook and the openness and upgrades to the kitchen were a big selling point for her. We really weren't interested in being in the Village because we prefer a little more quiet, but we wanted to be close enough that we could walk and take our dog. There is a bike path right behind the condo and the golf course surrounded by the forest just beyond that. It provides a very nice walk with the dog! The condo has a beautiful pine lined solarium with a private jacuzzi with floor to ceiling windows that overlook the woods. There is also a balcony that is perfect for morning coffee watching the bluejays and squirrels! Also, Chris' brother, Jeff, lives in the Forest Creek complex and to be near family was a nice little bonus.
