Chaleureux accueil et gîte parfait

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le gîte de Benoit qui nous a accueilli dans son village médiéval. Notre groupe de 15 personnes de 15 à 86 ans s’est senti « comme à la maison » dans ce lieu adapté à la fois aux jeunes ados et aux personnes plus sédentaires. Les chambres sont très confortables, la cuisine parfaitement équipée. Baby-foots, tennis de table, jeux de société, pétanque, barbecue…tout cela est disponible (nous n'avons pas essayé la piscine en ce mois de novembre !) Le gîte est équipé d’un ascenseur pour les personnes à mobilité réduite Merci à Benoit pour son accueil et sa disponibilité

A dream birthday in the South of France

I booked L'Autre Maison to host a gathering of friends to celebrate my milestone birthday. I looked at many properties online, but chose this one because there are a high number of rooms with larger beds, a high bedroom to bathroom ratio, and the exquisite decor of the entire property. The building and rooms have been restored to preserve the charm of an 18th century building in a tiny medieval hamlet, while also supplying every modern comfort. Each room is outfitted so beautifully! Benoit is incredibly friendly and was a fantastic host from beginning to end, answering every question that I had about the building and area; helping provide guidance in making plans for my group; sharing resources so that I could hire a private chef; and helping us make restaurant reservations. I'm only sorry that our stay had to come to an end, and I hope to be lucky enough to return in the future!

Inoubliable séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un magnifique grand week-end de l'Ascension en famille (13 adultes et 2 bébés) dans la charmante maison de Benoit. Tous les espaces sont épatants : 7 belles chambres aux thématiques différentes, 4 terrasses offrant de multiples possibilités de moments conviviaux, la cuisine parfaitement équipée pour préparer des repas pour de grandes tablées, une grande salle à manger, un salon cosy et une salle télé, un grand garage. Et la cour avec sa jolie piscine, ses arcades, ses coins ping-pong et baby-foot est géniale ! Tout le monde a été emballé et a profité un max. Franchement, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Et puis le village est calme et ravissant et la campagne alentour est belle et apaisante. Enfin la communication avec Benoit a été exceptionnelle.

Nous (12 amis) avons passé un très agréable séjour au calme dans cette maison spacieuse, confortable, pleine de charme. Les équipements sont nombreux et de bonne qualité. Propreté impeccable. Benoit est un hôte sympathique, accueillant, disponible et soucieux du confort de ses locataires. A recommander.

Noces de Diamant

Le choix de l'Autre Maison pour fêter 60 ans de mariage, avec nos enfants, petits-enfants et leurs compagnons, a été plébiscité 5/5 par chacun des 15 présents, âgés de 14 à 83 ans. Le charme vient des multiples atouts de ce lieu, bien signalés par les commentaires précédents. Si le charme opère si bien, c'est parce que tout concourt à donner la sensation d'être hébergés comme des hôtes de choix, et non comme des clients d'une structure à buts uniquement financiers. La configuration des lieux a permis de chaleureux échanges entre générations ou cousins dispersés, de bons moments festifs et gastronomiques tous ensemble, des témoignages qui resteront dans nos cœurs, inséparables des images de l'Autre Maison.

Super verblijfplaats met vriendelijke eigenaar

We hebben hier een super verblijf gehad in een prachtige woning. Voordeel is dat elke kamer een eigen badkamer heeft en dat je in een rustig dorp zit. Als we een klein negatief puntje moeten geven is dit dat niet elke kamer van airco voorzien is, maar dit was voor ons niet storend.

Perfect holiday home

We were two families of friends with grown up children. The house was beautiful - plenty of space, well equipped and just lovely. And there were lots of little seating areas so we could be together but also get a bit of personal time. Air conditioning in some of the bedrooms was a great bonus. Benoit was really welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. He sent us information about local events - and even a playlist for our journey to help us to get into the holiday mood 😀 There is plenty to see and do in the area - and the pool was a great focus for our days pottering around in the house. Excellent Property and Host’s.

L’ Autre Maison is situated in a very small country village. The property is extremely well equipped with a lovely large kitchen. All rooms are nicely decorated. There is also large garage. The swimming pool is in a beautifully kept court yard with ample sun beds and seating. Our party of 14 made good use of the swimming pool, which was cleaned every day by Benoit, our host. Benoit and Annelie are excellent hosts, giving lots of daily information about local things to do. Nothing was to much trouble for them. After a two week holiday we were all very sorry to be leaving this beautiful house. We will be back. Ron Clough and family.

Family holiday in Languedoc

A really beautiful holiday in an ideal location with a superb host. The welcome and check-in was warm and professional. Benoit could not have been more helpful throughout our stay, from daily helpful suggestions on local events and places of interest to responding with efficiency to any requests we had. Everything about this operation is five-star. Our family party of 14 ranging in ages from 12 to 80 had a wonderful and memorable vacation in L'Autre Maison. This house is a winner.

Meget velholdt, der er alt hvad man skal bruge, meget velassorteret køkken. Skøn pool, som værten rengjorde hver morgen. Han gav os også mange gode fif til udflugter. Kan klart anbefales.

Fantastic

From the time of booking the owner was in contact and extremely helpful with questions and suggestions of things to do nearby. The house was really beautiful, clean and everything we needed was available. All instructions were clearly laid out for our stay and departure. There were plenty of private spaces for people to have quiet time and large areas to come together as a group. You do need a car to get about but there are lots of activities and attractions short distances from the house. I would definitely recommend for any family get together.

Le soleil des retrouvailles familiales

Une proprieté qui révèle bien le charme annoncé. La décoration est soignée dans le détail. L'aménagement des lieux permet de bien répartir la vie collective et l'espace privé que chacun peut souhaiter. L'accueil de Benoît est chaleureux, et sa disponibilité, très appréciée notamment pour aider à organiser la visite de la région qu'il connaît bien et qu'il a su nous faire apprécier. Merci Benoît !

L'Autre Maison -Jul 2021

We absolutely loved our stay at l'Autre Maison, Benoit made us feel "at home" and had lots of great information for our group, including trips for our parents (in their 80s and 90s). The house is designed to have both privacy and common areas, the area is fantastic and the one week we spent went of course way too fast. The house is well equipped and most importantly, after so many rentals with a long and strenuous check-in/check-out process, we really appreciated the warm welcome and ease of check-in/check-out that Benoit and his family implemented! Highly recommend this rental !!!
