Located in an incomparable setting in upscale Pinnacle View area, Bearfoot Memories is furnished and custom built to compliment our Great Smoky Mountains. Sitting privately on a beautiful knoll, Bearfoot Memories boasts a large wide open deck for you to enjoy that morning cup of coffee and take in the unobstructed view of the Great Smoky Mountains. Relax under the stars in the inviting HOT TUB on the deck. The entry level of BEARFOOT MEMORIES has a wall of windows from floor to ceiling with the mountains appearing in the living room as a work of art from every angle. The open floor plan features FULL KITCHEN, DINING AND LIVING AREA, GAS FIREPLACE and large flat screen TV. Both main level bedrooms have KING size beds with full baths and whirlpool tubs in each bath. The upstairs loft area has a comfortable sitting area and queen size pull out futon and regulation size POOL TABLE. WIRELESS INTERNET AND UNLIMITED NATIONWIDE LONG DISTANCE has been added to make your stay complete

Free WIFI, a washer / dryer, iron and ironing board, and paved parking are included for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided as well as a starter supply of paper towels, toilet paper, soaps and detergents.

Host requires the guest to sign a rental management agreement prior to allowing access to the unit. The agreement details our cancellation policy, terms and conditions. Must be 21 or older to reserve a cabin and person booking must be staying in the cabin.

We provide a starter supply of paper products, detergents and soaps and coffee filters. We do not supply shampoo, conditioner, body wash and there are no pantry items, spices, salt & pepper or coffee included - guests should bring these items.

This cabin is professionally managed by Elk Springs Resort Cabin Rentals in Gatlinburg, TN. We provide concierge service as well as dispatched maintenance and housekeeping should you need assistance during your stay. This location is secluded and private which is what I was looking for. We saw a bear walking through the front yard! We hiked in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park several days and this cabin was very convenient to all our destinations.

Our cabin had a beautiful mountain view, was clean and well stocked with essential items, and the host was communicating with us throughout with any needs we had. We were able to enjoy ziplining, downtown Gatlinburg and the Great Smokey Mountains National Park all within a 30 minute drive of our cabin. We certainly would stay here again.

Gorgeous View, Disappointing Stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location and view from Bearfoot Memories are absolutely stunning! This was our fourth (and unfortunately last) stay in this cabin. The mountain view is breathtaking and truly one of the best parts of the experience.That said, the cabin itself really needs some updating and attention. The biggest disappointment this time was the complete lack of streaming services (no Smart TVs at this cabin). In 2025, being told that streaming isn’t an option and the only option is satellite TV just isn’t accurate. The cabin has WiFi - you just need Smart TVs. If satellite speed is an issue, Starlink is fully available (very fast speeds) at this address. Cold mountain days make you want to cozy up inside and binge your favorite shows, but we couldn’t do that here.There were also smaller but telling issues: no pizza pan in the kitchen (we had to buy one at Food City), a beer bottle cap was left on the hot tub which made us question how thoroughly it had been cleaned. We skipped using it altogether because of that. The floor in the main bathroom smelled like urine and was sticky — clearly not cleaned thoroughly. The master shower is also extremely small, with barely any room to move around. The very large windows you see in the photos giving you gorgeous Mountain View’s from inside the cabin were once crystal clear. They now have a cloudy film on them, giving it a foggy-like appearance. The location is unbeatable, but the lack of upgrades, cleanliness issues, and outdated amenities have taken away the comfort that used to make this cabin special.

Cabin layout great. Every trip had bear encounters. This trip took pictures from kitchen of bear working its way up the deck and to the grill. Great picture of bear standing at the grill.

I was so amazed at the cabin, the privacy, and the view. It was absolutely the best. The location is wonderful and you are close to the grocery store and downtown gatlinburg. Everyone was so nice and helpful. I can't wait to go back and I will definitely be using Elk Springs again.

Secluded Cabin with an Amazing View!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was everything we hoped for and more for celebrating our 30th anniversary! It is in a quiet location a little further from the parkway, which we loved, but still close enough to be in town in 20 minutes. It was very clean and the beds were SO comfortable! The couches in the living room were super comfortable too! The floor to ceiling windows showcase the view which was always changing due to low lying clouds and we spent so much time on the deck in the hot tub taking it all in! The fog and clouds lifted our last night giving us an incredible view of the stars that was so magical! The kitchen was well equipped with everything I needed for cooking. The maintenance staff were so helpful with quickly taking care of the few problems we had during our stay. This is our second stay with Elk Springs Resort and we will definitely be back! Our only downside was that the jacuzzi tub in the master bath had mold in the tubing so there were little flakes of black stuff that would come out when you used it. The maintenance staff tried cleaning it and we worked on it some more, but it may need the tubing replaced. Bearfoot Memories is a wonderful cabin that you will love staying in!

Short but Sweet

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been to Gatlinburg many times over the last 43 years beginning with our honeymoon, and we always enjoy our time there. This trip was more of a last-minute thing as we had to travel to Alabama for some family business and decided to stop off for a quick break on our way home. Since we have stayed with Elk Springs in the past, it was an easy decision to trust their staff and our stay to one of their cabins. Once again, our experience was beyond our expectations.The cabin was clean and in perfect shape and the view was simply breathtaking. It was a little tough to find, since it was on a private road and the "Stop: Private Road" sign threw us off, but a text message to the office, even though it was after 6:00 P.M., cleared things up and we were able to get settled soon after.The staff at Elk Springs has always been easy to work with, and the easy Check-in and Check-out process makes things easy and secure.We only stayed 2 nights, but the process from finding a cabin to leaving the property at the end did help us relax a little on our way back home to "Normal". We can highly recommend Elk Springs Resorts and have many times.Thank you for another memorable trip. May God bless you all.

Satisfied but yet disappointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is absolutely breathtaking. It was extremely clean and super cozy. The Mountain View was unbelievable and customer service was extremely kind and professional. I checked in on 12/23/20. High winds were expected so I lost power late that evening. The power came back on early morning on 12/24/20. I enjoyed the day in downtown Gatlinburg and returned around 4:30pm. I knew there was a snow storm expected so I prepared. The power went out around 9pm. The power was on Christmas morning when I woke up but went out again at 11:45am and did not come back on until 3:00am 12/26/20. I spent Christmas bundled up by the fireplace so I could stay warm, without WiFi, a television and a stove. I had to sleep on the couch by the fireplace. It was freezing in the bedrooms and bathrooms. Needless to say, the views were beautiful but it was not my most memorable Christmas or maybe it was...lol. I checked out a day early, not wanting a repeat of those events, and informed customer service that the owner of that cabin should invest in a generator. Because of the on and off of the electricity, I had to discard the little food I had in the refrigerator. Besides that it is a beautiful cabin. Customer service was understanding and kind to partly reimburse me for the inconvenience. I would love to return after a generator is installed.

A mama bear and her three cubs trotted peacefully across our driveway. We spent hours sitting at the outdoor table, basking in the beauty of nature. We will definitely be back for future visits. The rental company was extremely helpful.
