Beautiful home and views with a very pleasent host. Bridget was very accomodating and had much good advice for local services. You do need a car as the home is off the beaten path. Easy drive into Roma Centre and accessible to many others fantastic locations.

POSITIVES >A lovely country home with plenty of light and room for a relaxing vacation. >Outdoor seating in front and back >Bamboo garden. >Sacrofano is nearby (20 min) with cafes, shops, groceries, etc. >Complete kitchen, bedding, towels, soap, etc. NEGATIVES >Location requires a vehicle. >Longer drive to Rome than listed (approx 1 hour or more due to traffic) >Severly rutted dirt road and driveway add 5 minutes to 800-meter drives from/to the main road >Host lives in an attached apartment >The host controls when heat is operated (7:00 a.m. to midnight). > Requested thermostat be set to allow our control, but still read "Temporary Hold" overnight. >first floor pellet stove is available, but causes the thermostat to shut off radiators leaving upper floors unheated. > The host is either paranoid or the house is located in a high-crime area. >Gated and surrounded by an electric fence, the host requested permission to enter the unit to close security shutters when we were out the first night. She insisted they be closed if we were not in the unit. >Approximately 10 shutters are electric power-operated rollers. Attempted to close shutters upon checkout. One stuck in the open position. Departing at 5:30 a.m. we did not want to wake her. She messaged me the next day stating she was calling a repair service for the stuck shutter and forwarding the bill to me for payment. I advised her this is a maintenance issue, not caused by abuse or misuse, and as such, not my responsibility.

Lovely 10 day stay in Scarofano

The property is very clean, warm and welcoming. The house is well set up. Beds are comfortable, and kitchen well stocked. The villa design and layout is truly an architectural splendor. The olive tree grove, bamboo forest and views of the countryside are amazing. It is a quiet and peaceful villa The owner was great at checking in, and readily available and responsive during our stay. There were welcome goodies and laminated instructions cards for everything. All of this made for a top notch experience and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit the area.

The house was amazing! Plenty of room and space for a large family or group. Beautiful view of the hills around Sacrofano. The hostess Brigitte was great and very welcoming. She speaks French, Italian, and English. She welcomed our family and our pets. A great place to get away for a vacation, and you can still venture into to Rome and the surrounding countryside. We want to go back and visit again, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit the area.

Bon endroit pour profiter de Rome sans les nuisances de la ville.

Grande Villa spacieuse à l'écart de Sacrofano. A quelques minutes de la gare en ligne directe vers Rome (tres pratique). Plage publique pas trop loin au lac de Bracciano. Brigitte nous tres bien accueilli et a toujours été disponible. Seule chose qui nous a fait défault: des moustiquaires.

Villa da sogno ma assistenza pessima

Nulla da dire sulla Villa incantevole, ma una nota dolente va alla proprietaria. Il giorno di capodanno siamo state 6/7 ore senza riscaldamenti per una sua dimenticanza ma ha ben pensato di non rispondere ne al telefono ne ai messaggi che visualizzava.. Per farla breve quando ci ha fatto il conto del riscaldamento (58€) non ci ha tolto nemmeno un centesimo per l’inconveniente.. Altra nota dolente va alla pulizia visto che una ragazza ha dovuto prendere il cortisone per tutta la durata del soggiorno per colpa della grande presenza di polvere

Toll für Familienevents!

Wir haben hier einen runden Geburtstag mit der ganzen Familie gefeiert (8 Personen plus Hund). Das Haus bietet für eine Gruppe wie uns ideale Bedingungen: Ein riesiges Wohnzimmer mit Panoramablick ( ca 8 Meter langes Fenster!), ein Esszimmer, das Fenster vorne und hinten hat (man steht wie auf der Wiese ...:), eine toll ausgestattete Küche und genügend Zimmer für jeden als Rückzugsmöglichkeit. Dazu: Rom ist mit dem Auto nur ein halbes Stündchen entfernt. Absolut spitze. Im Winter beachten: Es kommen noch Kosten für die Heizung hinzu (Gas für Zentralheizung und Pellets für den Ofen). Die Gastgeberin Brigitte ist super nett und hat uns ihr Appartement sogar überlassen, weil das für unsere Familienzusammenstellung gut war. Wahnsinn!

Tutto perfetto!

Un pò difficile da raggiungere perché bisogna percorrere una strada sterrata ma quando si arriva non si vorrebbe più andare via. Un posto incantevole, casa splendida, relax totale, ogni comfort immersi nella natura (ma incredibile ma vero senza zanzare!!!). La proprietaria di una cortesia e disponibilità rare! Premier séjour en Italie en famille

Grande demeure avec magnifique jardin. Maison décorée avec gout sans être trop chargée, pratique avec de belles chambres et salles de douches attenantes. Situation un peu isolée mais toutefois à proximité de Sacrofano qui dispose des magasins nécessaires . Proximité également du lac de Braciano qui permet de se rafraîchir lors de grosse chaleur comme nous en avons eu cette année. La piscine aurait été bienvenue ;-) sachant que la place ne manque pas. Brigitte nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse avec des instructions claires sur les aspects pratique de la maison (poubelles, portail ...) sans être intrusive. Un peu plus de doc sur les choses à faire dans la région aurait été appréciée . Bref très bon séjour à un bon rapport qualité/prix .

Very comfortable house and exceptional tranquility.

We are rather experienced travelers, have rented many houses during past years. This house is the best we have ever rented. Very comfortable and well-equipped, thoroughly designed and built. The garden is a pearl with its fantastic bamboo forest, olive trees, etc. Brigitte is very friendly and delicate owner. You can really feel yourself at home and completely isolated in this paradise. The only problem was the wild life in the region. There are PLENTY of wild boars in the area that visit the property regularly. They are easily scared by harsh loud noises and don't pose a danger for adult people. But they were of danger for our two dogs, so we were forced to continuously monitor the dogs and could not fully use the entire garden.

Brigitte was a great host - communicative, accommodating, and kind. The house was remote, quiet, and comfortable. And, the rooms were clean, spacious, and well equipped. If you come to the Roma area, I enthusiastically recommend this location.

Schönes Haus, ruhig gelegen, ideal zum Entspannen

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen mit Blick ins Tal und auf die nächsten Hügel. Wir waren mit 8 Personen für eine Woche im Haus und haben die Ruhe genossen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und für kalte Tage ist zusätzlich ein Kamin und Pelletofen vorhanden. Einzig die Betten waren für uns nicht optimal. Die Besitzerin ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The property owner (Brigitte) was brilliant and really helpful. Property is lovely. The children loved running round the grounds outside and the adults enjoyed the views. The property is in a nice quiet location. We loved our stay, nice and relaxed.

Lovely house and a great host

Great Villa in the calm countryside North of Rome

We rented this villa as part of our annual meeting with our young leadership team. It was so refreshing being in the countryside and have been able to focus on our meeting. Brigitte was really helpful and her villa is outstanding.

Parenthèse enchantée

La maison est très confortable, remarquablement conçue et modulable selon le nombre d occupants. Elle est très agréable à vivre nous L avons occupe à 2 (quel bonheur d avoir un si grand espace !) puis a 5, la conception est parfaite pour assurer une excellente qualite de vie pendant les vacances. Le salon est ultra lumineux. Le jardin est merveilleux, la maison étant située dans une oliveraie. La terasse est inoubliable et le petit dejeuner face aux oliviers est un must. . Il y a d ailleurs plusieurs Espzces possibles dans le jardin pour dejeuner.zone avec un point commun la vue inoubliable sur la nature, les oliviers ou la bambouseraie. La maison est à la campagne, on y accède par un petit chemin non goudronne mais tout à fait praticable avec une voiture classique. Elle est près d un village à environ 3 -4 kms. Beaucoup de choses A faire dans la région , Rome mais aussi des lacs et beaux villages. Nous avons adoré L atmosphère de cette maison A l'unanimité ! Brigitte nous a bien accueillis et très bien conseillés sur le plan des restaurants et déplacements à Rome. Elle S est montré très réactive lorsque nous L avons sollicité pour lui poser des questions. Il est plus qu évident que nous reviendrons. Nous avons passé d excellentes vacances dans cette maison de charme et nous remercions Brigitte de nous avoir proposé cette expérience magnifique. Je recommande vivement vous L aurez compris.

Malerisch und idyllisch

Eingebettet in eine wunderschöne Landschaft umgeben von Olivenbäumen und einem kleinen Bambuswäldchen liegt dieses Anwesen. Es verfügt über ein großzügiges Raumangebot mit entsprechenden Bädern. Die Küche bietet alles an "Werkzeug" was gerne kochende Personen brauchen und auch die Gelegenheit zu Grillen wurde unsererseits genutzt. Wir haben die Rückzugsmöglichkeit und Ruhe abseits der römischen Metropole sehr genossen und konnten so unsere Batterien für den nächsten Tagesausflug nach Rom wieder gut aufladen. Bei Frau Pottier handelt es sich um eine aufgeschlossene und nette Dame welche mit guten Ratschlägen zur Seite stand. Um das Ambiente und Umfeld wirklich zu geniessen ist ein mehrtägiger Aufenthalt empfehlenswert...

Propriété de rêve pour passer des vacances en famille.

Cette propriété est un havre de paix. La maison est chaleureuse, ouverte sur la nature et suffisamment grande pour abriter 3 familles. Tout est là pour nous permettre d’avoir un séjour confortable. Une magnifique bambouseraie est un terrain de jeux idéal pour les enfants. Rome n’est pas loin : le train nous y conduit rapidement.

Fantastic house in beautiful surroundings

We had such a lovely time in our home from home. The house itself was just beautiful, set in a lovely olive tree garden with all the comfort you could wish for. Everything was clean and tidy, the beds very comfortable and all the rooms spacious and it's own view of the garden. Calcata, a must see just 14 km away and Rome a mere 40 min drive. We already decided to come again as we felt so much at home there. To the lovely owner, Brigitte, a big thank you for all your help and making this a wonderful holiday experience, which we will treasure for a long time. Best wishes Bianca and family

Très belle maison, spacieuse, située aux alentours de Rome. Nous avons ainsi eu l'occasion de visiter la ville éternelle tout en bénéficiant de soirées au calme. Quel bonheur aussi de prendre le petit déjeuner parmi les oliviers ! Accueil charmant et en français par la propriétaire, qui nous a confié ses bonnes adresses à Sacrofano et nous a aidé à organiser nos visites. Merci Brigitte !

Casa namura has been built in 1996 by my husband architect. We libed here with our 2 children for 12 years. Now, i Like to offer to my hosts a place clean, quiet, peaceful and friendly. I like yoga, ( you will yoga, flowers, nature, sewing, cobble in the house to ameliorate.
