Very private mountain setting on 1 + acre with big views; authentic log home with modern amenities, open floor plan; granite counters and great cooking space. Hard to find 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom including 3 full suites with over 250 sq ft of wrap around decking; private hot tub and 2 car garage. Make a quick trip to RMNP, downtown, Mary's Lake, golfing, walk to the playground; bike into town on the bike bath; or hang around, cook a great meal, enjoy all that our private home has to offer and simply do nothing at all!

We were seeking a private mountain home in Estes Park, centrally located, within town limits with easy access to RMNP, downtown, and all of the local attractions. We fell in love right away and knew this was the one!! The size and construction of the huge logs captivated us. We value our privacy and appreciate the very private setting of our new home!

Amazing beautiful clean home

We loved this house. Clean, secluded, and beautiful wild life. We decided to stay extra 2 days because this house was so nice. The hot tub is amazing! Everything is up to date and organized. We will be back.

Winter in the Rocky Mountain spring

My wife, son and I enjoyed the experience of renting this log home in Estes Park. It is a beautiful log home. We were impressed and appreciative of all the amenities the home is furnished with. Especially all the wood work throughout the home. The property owners have gone to a lot of thought and expense to equip the home well and make it comfortable.

Expect to see a lot of deer! We were very fortunate to get out of the mountains with the snow that fell in mid-May! Suggest a 4WD drive vehicle to anyone visiting during the snow season.

We left the home in better shape than we found it. The property was essentially clean, tidy and in good working order... but we wonder if it would have met the property owner's standards?

Property owner seemed a tad slow or unconcerned in responding to reasonable questions or suggestions for improvement for the benefit of future guests.

Overall this is a beautiful log home in a private, but not secluded area of residential Estes Park to call home base for exploring Rocky Mountain National Park.

Beautiful mountain home with great views

Amazing home with beautiful views. The photos really don't do it justice. Plenty of space driving distance from RMNP. The kitchen needs more basic cooking supplies such as non stick cooking spray, vegetable oil, etc. the owner was very helpful and did everything she could to accommodate us. All the great aside, I found the cleaning fee to be very steep for what was provided. (I.e. one paper towel roll, very fragile 1 ply toilet paper, 3 trash bags, etc for a party or 6 starting 4 days). Other than the cleaning fee situation, I would highly recommend this property.

Amazing cabin

Heidi's cabin was just the cabin that we were looking for. We had 3 women and 3 men, all adults, and the cabin had more than enough rooms and bathrooms to accommodate all of us. There were groceries and restaurants around so you have plenty of options for dining. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Heidi's place.

A Perfect Retreat

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this log cabin. It's perched high on a hill on a relatively spaciaous lot with beautiful views. The main living area has a very open feel with high ceilings, tons of windows, and an awesome wrap around deck. The cabin was well supplied with all the comforts of home. The furnishings were very nice and the log cabin decorations made for a cozy environment to hang out in. The hot tub was a welcome relief after a long day of hiking. The location was perfect too. Only 5-10 minutes into town. We would definitely stay there again. Thanks Heidi!
