About Heidi Welsch

We currently live in Minnesota. We have two children - one in college and one in high school. Our next chapter will be in Estes Park!

Heidi Welsch purchased this house in 2014

Why Heidi Welsch chose Carriage Hills

We were seeking a private mountain home in Estes Park, centrally located, within town limits with easy access to RMNP, downtown, and all of the local attractions. We fell in love right away and knew this was the one!! The size and construction of the huge logs captivated us. We value our privacy and appreciate the very private setting of our new home!

What makes this house unique

We hope you will love the rustic charm and modern day amenities with awesome mountain views and, of course, a hot tub for relaxing those muscles after a full day of hiking or shopping.

Lovely cabin

  • 4 of 5

The cabin is very nice and modern. Views of the mountains are beautiful. Very easy access to town. The hot tub was not functioning when we arrived, but owners arranged for repair while we were there. The hot tub was still pretty dirty, even after the fix. Also just FYI—this cabin has several close neighbors. The walls in the master bedroom and both baths on main level do not go to the ceiling, so this does not provide quiet/privacy between these rooms and the main entertaining area and kitchen.

Excellant Property! Great Family Vacation!

  • 5 of 5

This property was excellent for our 3 generation family destination get together. The view was excellent especially after it snowed 6 - 8" one day . The well apportioned four bedroom accommodations and the 3 bathrooms were excellent. The great room (kitchen, dining area and living space with fireplace was very charming). The hot tub was an added value especially the night it got down to 20F :).

While we were there we toured Rocky Mountain National Park, Estes Park (brewers, distilleries and local restaurants), fly fishing in the Big Thompson River and the elk in rut - which was truly amazing).

We would not have hesitation one utilizing this property in the future :)

Beautiful Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

We truly enjoyed this vacation home. Very comfortable and spacious. The hot tub was very nice. Plenty of room for the 4 of us. The WiFi worked well. We saw mule deer out in the yard each day. Beautiful views from the deck. Easy to get to from Estes Park. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely home, beautiful property

  • 5 of 5

The home was lovely and seemed well kept. It was a bit dirty when we arrived. Sticky spots on the floor from spills in kitchen, floors needed swept. We enjoyed the home, played cards and games at the lovely dining room table. We were warned about bears being active so we didn't spend time outside. We did see deer out the kitchen window on our final morning. We would certainly stay here again.

Great cabin in estes

  • 4 of 5

We stayed for a long weekend at the beautiful cabin in Estes park. The log home was clean spacious and beautifully decorated. We were very comfortable there. It was minutes from town but also nestled on a hill among a beautiful wooded area. We would definitely go back again.
