Cuenca B&B (La Casa Blanca) Is Nestled In The Hills Of Cuenca. It's Just Outside The Hustle And Bustle Of The City Center And Feels Like Country, Yet It's Only 10 Minutes To El Centro Via Taxi. We have a beautiful Aquaponics Garden where we are growing Trout and Vegetables in symphony where the fish waste is food for the plants and the plants clean the water for the fish! Amazing to see amazing to taste.

Gorgeous Views Can Be Had From All Over The 5 Acre Property. It's A Wonderfully Tranquil Location. Nature Watching Is A Breeze, You'll Often Look Out Of Your Window To A Cow Grazing On The Property. Our Inviting Deck Is Perfect For Relaxing With A Good Book And Enjoying The Scenery. The Property Has Ample Pastures and a Stream On The Edge Of The Property Is A Short Walk Away. Local Neighborhood 'tienda's Are Close By As Well As A Variety Of Stores.

'Cottage Room' comes with an additional, adjoined room that can be used as an office space, or a sleeping space for up to 2 children, or one extra adult. This room comes with it's own bathroom. Please note, the bathroom is not en-suite. It is private, but you have to walk outside of your bedroom, across 2 feet of private, outside hall space, into your own bathroom. This bedroom has it's own small deck area with a gorgeous view. Shared laundry facilities are in this area. Laundry use will be utilized at times that are convenient for you. I.e we will not use the shared laundry facilities when you are sleeping or at any times when you desire privacy.

Breakfast At Cuenca Country Inn Is A Treat. The included breakfast choices are Fresh Bread / Toast & Eggs, OR Fruit, Or Granola, & Freshly Ground Coffee, Tea & Juice. Ask About Our 'specials' (paid extras) Which Include Home Pancakes Made Using An Incredible Sourdough 'starter' We've Nurtured For Years. And Our Delicious Banana And Zucchini Bread - We Buy Local Grains And Grind Them At The Inn. We Also Make Fresh Delicious Kombucha And Sauerkraut Which Is Available For Purchase.

We Are An English / American Family Run Business And Enjoy Catering To The International Community. We Welcome Travelers, Vacationers, And Prospective Immigrants. We Are Very Happy To Offer Accommodation To Families With Dogs (or Without!). The Upper Part Of The Property Is Fenced In So Medium To Large Dogs Are Secure. Small Dogs May Need To Be Leashed As They May Be Able To Squeeze Through Some Areas. Rent for beloved canine's is $2., per dog, per day. Dogs can not be left unattended in your room. If you need to leave your dog there is a pet care fee of a $5. per 4 hrs, per dog, or a max of $12 per day - unlimited time.

We are 10 minutes to town so everything you want or need is just minutes away. Not to mention that we have a local shop or two within 1 block of our house. Restaurants are 1 mile away.

Directions via Taxi / Car:

Tell the taxi driver you want to go to "El Cebollar". This is the town (pueblo) that is closest to us, most drivers will know it, if they look uncertain, tell them it's just past the junction of the streets (calles) Aberlado J. Andrade Y Del Chofer.

As you're coming up the hill, you'll see a building on the left that says "Centro de cultural, El Cebollar". 1.5 blocks past this on the right, you'll see a "Pollo Express". Take a right turn immediately after the Pollo Express, the street name is Hernan Coelo Garcia but it's poorly marked. On that corner there's a little store with a "Claro sign on it, and on the other side of that same corner, there's a show repair store. But most importantly, just remember it's the first right after Pollo express.

Go straight, 1 block down, tell the driver to go slow (despacio), the rd turns into a dirt rd, and you're going to go steep downhill all the way to the bottom.

At the bottom turn right, you'll go past a building that says "Azateepa". At the end turn left. If you look ahead and up hill, you'll see our house at this point, it's called "La Casa Blanca".

Many people close to our house will know La Casa Blanca, so ask passers by if need be. If you can't find us, have the driver drop you off at the Pollo Express on Aberlado J. Andrade and I'll come and meet you!
