'Beautiful Gated Lakehouse' dogs love the yard!

Welcome to the “Perfect Lake House Experience”. Hospitality and the feeling of “I’m home” is what you will experience the minute you drive through the gate to this lake house. Walking barefoot through the backyard grass in your favorite summer swimsuit will be your first request. And, located in the highly esteemed Oakridge Estates, the location of this property could not be better.

*check out the video its great to see the yard and how our home is laid out but I want to make sure you know that both detached bedrooms look different - there is a picture of the bedroom by the boat house and it has a king bed. The other detached room now has a queen bed (not a trundle). The master bathroom has a beautiful walk in shower not a tub.

This 4 bedroom (two bed rooms in Main house and two bedrooms not attached to home) 3 bathroom (all bathrooms in Main house) single family home that has been totally renovated. Features many fantastic details throughout including a darling kitchen, hardwood floors, cottage white cabinetry, new appliances, a glass cooktop, with views of a Palm trees and Lake LBJ just beyond. The dining and family rooms are designed in an open style with conversation and family in mind. The focal point of the living room is the high ceiling and the beautiful beams, however, the finest feature is a wall of windows that brings the lake right into your lap as you are relaxing on the living room couch.

The master suite is furnished with a king sized bed, cable flat screen TV and view of the beautiful Lake LBJ. The private master bathroom offers a flare of luxury with a beautifully wooden framed double vanity mirror and a beautiful walk in shower. The 2nd bedroom offers a temperpedic queen size bed, flat screen cable tv, and their own bathroom with a shower and tub. The 3rd bedroom is not attached to the main house but you can wake up and see the water from both sides of the bed. It has a King bed with a tv (for netflixs). The fourth bedroom is not attached to main house has a queen bed with flat screen tv (netflixs and playstation). All beds are very comfortable with charming bedding. The décor and ambiance throughout the entire home will welcome you the moment you step through the threshold.

However, once you step out the backdoor on to the huge wrap around patio, you will want to spend every daylight hour soaking up this fabulous backyard and decks. The backyard lawn, patio, and decks offer enough space to entertain the largest of families. The outdoor table seats 8 easily with room for extras. This home offers an outdoor grill for the grilling enthusiast in the family. For sunning or lake watching, there is a large decks to spread out your beach towel and spend the day relaxing. The concrete side-dock with a boat tie for boat storage and easy boat access.

No need to over pack for this trip as this property is fully furnished with bed linens, bath towels, lake towels, kitchen utensils, and a full sized washer and dryer.

Information about Horseshoe Bay:
Horseshoe Bay is located in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and located within 60 minutes of Austin, San Antonio, New Braunfels, and Fredericksburg. Austin is 45 minutes away with live music, great restaurants and abundant shopping. San Antonio is 60 minutes from Horseshoe Bay and offers a variety of restaurants, the famous River Walk, SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Considered the best water park in America; Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels is a short 60 minute drive away. And if you love great German food, Brewery’s and antique shopping, Fredericksburg is 40 minutes away. If you like to tour wineries, there are at least 24 within a 90 minute or less drive from Horseshoe Bay. Love to golf but aren’t a member at Horseshoe Bay Resort? There are 7 public golf courses within 20 minutes of Horseshoe Bay.

Horseshoe Bay offers a variety of activities even if you aren’t a Resort member. Lake LBJ is the only constant level lake in the Texas Hill Country and has open water boating, jet-skiing, tubing and fishing. Don’t own a boat or Jet-Ski? Lake LBJ Marina & Yacht Club offers boat and jet-ski rentals and has a small water park for kids and adults. Within a 10 minute drive of Horseshoe Bay is Marble Falls, which offers shopping, restaurants, a movie theater and numerous other activities.

Great getaway!

The property was perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs. We enjoyed fishing from the dock, plenty of gated yard for the dogs, plenty of seating inside and outside. Overall the house and apartments/exterior rooms were decorated beautifully and perfect for a lake house. Brandie was very responsive and accommodating to our questions and requests. Perfect weekend getaway

This property was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. The yard and outdoor space was amazing - having a fence-in HUGE yard for the dog to play was perfect. Brandie was awesome and easy to communicate with. We caught big bass, catfish and bluegill. The King bed was extremely comfortable. The couch was one of the most comfortable too! Highly recommend this property - will be back.

Hanging with the family weekend.

Host worked with us to check in early so one of us could get logged in for work meeting. Place was clean and as described. The common area was spacious. All the beds and furniture were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked to the hilt with everything a family would need and some. And, the dogs loved it. Allowing responible owners to bring dogs is excellent.

Great place!

We very much enjoyed our time here. The surrounding houses are gorgeous- but this house was more our 'style'. Great decor, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were comfortable- the casitas worked great for us. We brought our boat (boat ramp right down the street) and tied up at the dock/ platform area. We enjoyed cruising the lake. I don't think we would've swam right off the dock (lots of lilypads)- but my husband did jump in to cool off. We caught a bunch of fish right off the dock. Overall great time and great memories were made. We all agreed we would stay here again!

My family and I had a wonderful time, we felt right at home in the beautiful, spacious house. It was very clean, nicely decorated and had the best well equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental. I was very impressed that there was a welcome basket of local things like wine, popcorn, soap and chocolate covered nuts. The wrap around porch was awesome where we enjoyed a few dinners and morning coffee, the yard was big enough for my boys to throw a football and the fire pit was a huge hit where we sat around in the evening and made s'mores and talked story. I would defiantly rent this house again and also recommend it to family and friends.

Wonderful place for a weekend or more of total relaxation

The house was a pleasant surprise, very clean and well equipped. The yard was great for our two dogs, the only negative thing was that the water was intentionally dropped by approx 4 ft to allow homeowners to repair their docks and boat houses. This created an avenue for our Labrador to escape, but no real problems. The house was open and airy and very comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and teeming with deer and friendly walkers. The overall experience was great, I will look to use it again in the future for sure.

Gorgeous property & neighborhood, responsive host

We came out for a weekend trip to Hidden Falls Adventure Park to do some 4wd trail riding. Before we even booked the home, I reached out to Brandy to ask about proximity to the park (it's difficult to determine only based on the approximate location). She was fast and polite in responding and we ended up booking. The property is gorgeous, and right on the water. We brought kayaks and went out in the evenings to watch the sunset on the water. The home itself has two bedrooms, with two more bedrooms in different structures, which might be nice for groups that have folks with a need for privacy or go to bed early. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful and overflowing with deer, and we even spotted a little fox at night. A+ host and home, would highly recommend and will probably visit again.

We had a great stay at this gated lakehouse. A gorgeous yard perfect for dogs, kids, and yard games. Took a snooze and read in the hammock we brought. Enjoyed the peaceful water back in this channel - saw and heard lots of birds (and the dogs appreciated the squirrel activity). We brought our boat with us, and it was very easy to put in/take out at the neighborhood boat ramp. We cannot wait to come back! Thanks for a great trip.

Wonderful Property

We truly enjoyed our stay at Brandie's lake house! The grounds are beautiful and our pups enjoyed the freedom to run around without us worrying about them getting out. The neighborhood is quaint with lots of deer and friendly folks. Since it's in HSB, it's near to many amenities like boat rentals, kayak rentals, restaurants and the club itself. Will definitely return!

Relaxing Birthday Vacation

This is my first time ever doing something like vrbo and Brandie made it all awesome experience. She communicated very well and made everything seamless and clear. What a wonderful location for a holiday gathering with family. The huge wraparound deck with multiple tables & chairs & comfortable /plentiful indoor seating was great! Why they chose this property

I grew up having a lake house in Canada but we figured that was to far. So we began to look one Sunday afternoon, our other lake house was the first that we looked at, by Sunday evening we bought it. We have never regretted our decision. We have had our eye on this lake house so when it came up for sale we could not resist. We enjoyed renovating it so much we thought we would share. We love our homes and already have great memories with our kids, family, and friends!!

What makes this property unique

Sitting on the decks, boating on the lake, and evenings with family is what its all about! We have hosted Thanksgiving here, celebrated Christmas, fourth of July, and anytime in between. We love it!!
