Looking for a relaxing and quiet place to stay in Madeira? This is the ideal place for you. Here you will find one private suite composed of:
- Bedroom for 2 with a double bed.
- Bathroom.
- Lounge with TV and Internet where you can Also have the meals.
- Kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle and sink (cold and hot water).
- Large private terrace with an wonderful view to the ocean and the mountains. There you can relax, sunbath, and have your meals day and night.

In July, Following the sugestions made by various guests, we added to this apartement to cannopy retractable, and an outside cupboard on the terrace, with an eletric stove and and eletric grill, with all the utensils needed to cook and to make a barbecue, Thus offering the guests the oportunity to enjoy a better stay in this apartment.

Inglês spoken by the owners who live on the floor and same will be delighted to give you all the needed information.
Shopping Centre Forum Madeira is just around the corner, with shops, restaurants and super market with very competitive prices to buy anything and to have your meals.
You can do some nice walking in the promenade over the ocean, just a couple of minutes away, in BOTH directions: Funchal center and Camara de Lobos.
Madeira International Airport is 23 Kms. Away and since the bus stop is only 5 meters. away, having a car is not a must.

Our stay was good and the host was lovely

Only down side was the lift broke on our third day and wasn’t sorted before we left resulting in an 8 floor hike every day sometimes twice and we are not young

Picture Perfect!

This property was in a very convenient location, with access to mall, grocery, taxis, restaurants. It had all the amenities I wished for and was comfortable. I felt safe.. The view of both sunrises and sunsets was the best I've ever experienced. It was magical, and Claudia was kind and responsive. I will stay here again!

Endroit idéal pour sillonner l'île

L'appartement est idéal pour se poser après les randos et autres balades. Il est situé près du centre commercial, pas difficulté à se procurer un petit encas pour le soir, à déguster sur la terrasse vue mer. Merci à Claudia et Stuart pour leur charmant accueil.

Logement à recommander sur Funchal

Nous venons de passer 10 jours dans ce logement très bien aménagé et équipé et très bien situé sur la capitale de Madère. Tout d'abord, un grand merci à nos hôtes Claudia et Stuart, pour leur disponibilité, leur écoute, aussi bien avant le séjour, qu'à notre arrivée (Stuart parle très bien le français, c'est appréciable) et pour leur discrétion pendant notre séjour. Le logement était confortable, propre, et contenait tout ce qu'il fallait pour passer un séjour dans les meilleures conditions. La terrasse est juste incroyable, très grande, avec l'océanà perte de vue juste en face. Il est très bien situé, juste à côté d'une galerie commerciale avec un grand supermarché ouvert 7 jours sur 7, une pharmacie, des pasteleria pour manger des bonnes pâtisseries locales (miam miam), un loueur de voitures, etc. et tout près d'un arrêt de bus, avec deux lignes menant au centre de Funchal et à sa vieille ville et un bus allant à l'aéroport (aerobus : 5 euros par personne). À noter que c'est le quartier des grands hôtels, donc assez vivant ; il y a donc du monde qui circule et par conséquent un peu de bruit, mais on ne le ressent pas trop à l'intérieur, en tous les cas ça n'a pas perturbé notre sommeil. Voilà ! Que du positif ! On reviendra sur Madère, car on n'a pas tout vu. C'est le paradis pour les marcheurs que nous sommes. Et on reviendra avec grand plaisir chez Claudia et Stuart. 😊

Wonderful!

I had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the Great View Studio! The studio was very comfortable and included everything I needed. I had my breakfast outside every morning in the sun, enjoying the incredible view over the ocean, delighted to have all the sun available from sunrise to sunset on the terrace. The location is ideal with easy walking to shopping, restaurants, bus stops, and promenades above the sea. Claudia and her father Stuart were ideal hosts, I felt that they went beyond expectations to make my stay the best possible experience. I'll be back!

Ce logement est idéal pour deux personnes. Il est très bien situé, en effet, on a beaucoup aimé l'accès facile à toutes les commodités: courses, restaurants, transports... ainsi que la propreté et les équipements de l'appartement avec sa très grande terrasse donnant une très belle vue sur la mer.. Geeignet für Preisbewusste und kurzen Aufenthalt

unmittelbare Nähe zu Bushaltestelle, Einkaufszentrum, Restaurants, Hotelhochhäuser, vielbefahrenen Straßen (Lärm), Terrasse mit Meerblick, Sonnenaufgang und Kreuzfahrtschiffe sehr schön zu sehen, dort befindet sich der Esstisch und Schrank mit Kochplatte. Terrasse unzureichend zur Terrasse des Vermieters abgetrennt. Zimmer im 8. Stock, Lift im Zimmer hörbar. Das Zimmer hat ca 26 qm mit Doppelbett (150*200m), im Durchgang zum Bad ist die Kochgelegenheit. Dort gibt es einen 2- Plattenkocher, kleinen Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Nespressogerät, Geschirr und Besteck für 2 Personen. Das Bad ist sehr schön gefliest mit Dusche, Bidet, Toilette und Waschbecken, keine Waschmaschine. Im Durchgang zur Terrasse steht das 2er Sofa und ein Schreibtisch sowie Fernseher, außer Euronews keine deutschen Fernsehsender. Die Internetverbindung ist sehr gut, das Zimmer sehr geschmackvoll ausgestattet. Das Saubermachen wird den Mietern überlassen. Zum Kennenlernen der Insel und kurzen Aufenthalt sicherlich ausreichend.

Un petit nid très bien équipé pour 2 personnes. Un accueil très chaleureux et plein de gentilles attentions. Le papa de Claudia parle très bien le français et donne de très bons conseils. L’appartement est idéalement placé pour utiliser les transports en commun. Depuis l’aéroport prendre l´aerobus jusqu’à l’arrêt 19 « forum madeira » qui se trouve à côté de l’appartement (aller et retour 8 euros). Vous serez aussi juste à côté d’un grand centre commercial et d’une pâtisserie très sympa pour prendre le petit-déjeuner . On recommande c’est appartement avec en plus une grande terrasse et une très belle vue.

Lovely owners, very helpful. Perfect location, beautiful view. Bus stop across the road, shopping centre around the corner. Apartment clean and tidy, well equipped. Unfortunately 7 days is to short holiday. Don't know how soon but I will be back to explore more of this amazing island.

Très agréable hébergement à Funchal

Il s'agit d'un studio au 8e avec une très belle terrasse bien orientée avec vue sur l'océan. Le studio est bien équipé. Idéal pour moi pour cette semaine passée à Madère. Les propriétaires sont charmants, à la fois disponibles et discrets. C'est un peu loin du centre ville mais l'arrêt de bus qui y mène est juste devant, le centre commercial très proche, la promenade à faire le long de la côte tout près. J'ai beaucoup aimé l'endroit. Merci à Mr Stuart (qui parle très bien français) pour sa gentillesse.

Los propietarios son inexcedibles en simpatia y lo único que les preocupa es que te sintas cómodo y a gusto durante tu estancia. El apartamento es totalmente independiente y muy luminoso. Alles für uns war perfekt!!

Gastgeberin Claudia und ihre süsse kleine Familie waren hilfsbereit und waren immer für uns da ,wo wir die gebraucht.Wir hatten immer Sonne an unsere Balkon bis Nachmittag ,ca.14.00 kam leichte Schatten(was wir auch genossen bei Temperatur mal 32°).Appartement hatte alles was wir zu zweit gebraucht.Einkaufen unten in d Ecke in Einkaufszentrum"Forum"kein Problem sogar am Sonntag.Busshaltestellen alles 2 min-zu Fuss-In Zentrum Funchal,Stadfahrt,Monte ...Gebadet haben wir an Promenade rechts 10 min .zu Fuss angerichtete Badestelle f.2€ 4 Stunden Person und Liege auch 2€.Flughafentransfer haben wir mit Hilfe Claudias Vater genossen.Spricht etwas Deutsch und versteht auch einiges .Claudia kennt mehrere Sprachen, versteht auch deutsch, dadurch wurde unsere Unterhaltung reicht!!!Für Paare ideale Platz zu ausruhen und Madeira genießen .Appartament kann man nur empfehlen und wir selbst immer wieder hin!!!Danke,Claudia, für alles !!!

Très agréable séjour

Séjour impeccable dans un appartement très agréable situé au 8 ème avec une vue splendide sur la mer. L'accueil et le contact avec les propriétaires ont complété le charme de notre séjour. Supermarché, bus, location de voiture à proximité. Pour ne rien gâcher, nous avons eu une météo plus que clémente, petit déjeuner le matin sur la terrasse très ensoleillée. Notre interlocuteur, le père de Claudia, a été très aimable, très accueillant et très arrangeant. Le grand intérêt du studio, outre sa terrasse avec vue sur mer, tient à son emplacement: au pied de l'immeuble, boulangerie, centre commercial, plats à emporter, lignes de bus... tout ce qui peut faciliter un séjour! Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable.

Great location,very near buses for Funchal and the airport bus too.Stuart picked us up on arrival which was good for only 20 euros.We had a big balcony with our flat and could eat outside most mornings but too chilly to sit outside in the evenings.Small sitting area inside but we managed fine.

très bel appartement !

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans ce charmant studio situé dans le quartier des hôtels. Il est très propre et bien entretenu, la salle de bain est très mignonne et lumineuse, la terrasse a une vue magnifique sur la mer et le soleil est présent quasiment toute la journée. Il nous a manqué un parasol pour déjeuner dehors mais le propriétaire qui est très à l'écoute va remédier à cela en installant un store ou un parasol, donc pas de problème. Petite cuisine et petit frigo mais c'est suffisant car on est juste à côté du forum (galerie marchande) où on peux faire ses courses dans un supermarché ouvert jusqu'à 23h ! sinon plusieurs petits restos à côté. Le propriétaire est très sympa et donne pleins de renseignements. Nous reviendrons sans problème. Merci beaucoup !
