A block and a half away from all the action of Duval; restaurants, shopping and fun. 3 Bedrooms/3.5 Baths....all bedrooms are en-suite, making it very comfortable and private for everyone. For those who must do some work while away, there is an office off the master bedroom. There is a pull-out sofa for the accommodation of two more guests. The heated pool with waterfall makes the deck the perfect place to relax or enjoy dinner with friends. There is one off-street parking space in the event you have a car or scooters. The home is quiet and offers much privacy.

About Deanna Hoover
We are people who love a fun atmosphere, good music, great food, great friends and being active. We enjoy entertaining friends and having lots of laughs. Top notch accommodations are a MUST for us. We like nice things and we have high expectations for the way our home is maintained. We have traded-in our Naples property for our home in KW. We hope this will be our retirement home in 10 years, but until then we will enjoy sharing it with others who will enjoy it as much as we do.

Why Deanna Hoover chose Old Town
After looking at many homes in KW, this property had it all for us. A mere 1.5 blocks off Duval and the center of Duval makes it a easy walk to the restaurants, bars and shopping, and a short bike ride to the beach. A 3BR, 3.5BA home is very important to us for the comfort and privacy of our guests. The half bath is centrally located in the living area for everyone’s convenience. The pool with a water fall makes anytime spent on the deck a relaxing and tranquil time. A super plus was the off-street parking as KW parking can sometimes be a challenge. There is also an office off the master bedroom that we can quietly work (when we must). This home has everything that we were looking for!
What makes this House unique
It is sometimes hard to find a home in KW with the amenities that this property offers. Although the houses are close it is quiet and there is much privacy. All amenities are a short walk or a short bike ride away. Much of the home has been renovated since we bought the property in March 2014. As owners we encourage and welcome feedback of ways we can improve.

The home is perfectly located one street from Duval!
The home is great for a family with adult children, bedrooms are situated so everyone has privacy. Pool and outside area great for getting out of the sun. Kitchen is large enough so several adults can cook and it's well equipped. Loved the place, can't wait to go back!
Perfect house in perfect location
We all enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house in the heart of Old Town. It is as advertised, the perfect location, close enough yet far enough away from the action on Duval Street. The plunge pool is very refreshing after a day of activities. The home is immaculate and very comfortable for 6 people. Enjoyed our stay and would return again to this property.

Beautiful and relaxing home
My husband and I stayed at this home and had the most amazing time. We got married in Key West 11 years ago and go back each year to visit. It's always hit and miss for us in the many Bed and Breakfasts, as there isn't as much privacy as we'd like. This home was perfect, allowing privacy, relaxation by the pool, and only a block from the center of Duval. This home is extremely clean and absolutely beautifully designed with a tropical feel. We would definitely rent this home again.

We highly recommend this home at 605 Angela Street in Key West. From the owners to the property manager to the various contractors who maintain the home, everyone was friendly and efficient. The furnishings were comfortable and the decor pretty.
This is a spacious home - 3 en suite bedrooms. A front balcony and a front porch. The open plan kitchen, dining, living room was awesome for entertaining. We had a wine tasting part with 13 people one evening and there was plenty of room. We had a few guests over the course of our stay, and it was nice that they had their own bathroom(s).
The kitchen is not "gourmet" but there was an adequate amount of equipment. Though we did bring our own knives and some other gadgets we use on a regular basis. If renting for an extended visit and you like to cook and have favorite kitchen items, we suggest you bring them along (or ship a box). There plenty of plates, glasses, etc. though - so don't worry about that.
The outside deck area is nice. A couple of times, the renters in the back (I don't think they were the same people) got a little rowdie for an extended period of time (UGH - who stays up until 4 am anymore? LOL). But for the most part, the sound of the pool waterfall drowns out any noise and provides a wonderful cascading water effect. It was nice to have a gas grill. We put our feet up and lazed away a few afternoons in the lounge chairs. We were there January and February - the backyard doesn't get a ton of sun (which for us was an okay thing). If going in the Winter, I highly recommend paying the the pool heating.
This home is located just a block up from Duval ... and, 3 houses up from the fire house. There were quite a few sirens each day, but we got used to it. This street it on the Conch Train route, so you do get some regular traffic (it's a one way and there is off street parking for one vehicle).
We didn't need to rent a car during our visit. Fausto's Grocery Palace was just a short walk (about 300 steps) and they had great meat. For seafood, got to the Eaton Street Seafood Market. Prices are higher than Publics or Winn Dixie, but if you take out the cost of car rental ....
I'm not sure this would be a great vacation house for young children. The pool isn't that big and the backyard more like an extended deck ... they could get bored. For us, my husband was working remotely. It was perfect that the upstairs master had an office enclave.
We'd go back again!
We loved our stay! The house was close to everything we needed and wanted yet just removed enough from Duval to provide quiet. The house has privacy from the close quarters of Key West. The plunge pool in back really made a difference for us. The house overall is tastefully decorated, well built and outfitted. The rooms gave us the space we needed for quiet time and the living room and open kitchen were well suited to us all hanging out together. It has 3 1/2 bathrooms which was great. The kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals (which we did). I found the owner and property manager to be very accessible and truly invested in our enjoying the house to the fullest. My family told me repeatedly "You did a great job finding this place!". This place is a find and worth every penny. We will be back.
Beautiful house; great location
This house is tastefully decorated and is in an ideal location. It is a couple of blocks from Duval St. - an easy walk, and just far enough that it is quiet at night. The home is well equipped and very comfortable. We enjoyed the use of the grill on the patio and the heated dipping pool. We certainly hope to rent here again in the future.
