This house OFFERS A QUITE, PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE within feet from the waters edge. Mill Lake is a private, 88 acre all sports lake offering great fishing, boating and swimming. During the SUMMER, enjoy a leisurely ride around the lake in the provided paddle boats, kayaks or row boat or bring your own boat and take advantage of the boat ramp on the adjacent property. During the WINTER months, enjoy ice fishing and other winter sports, then warm up inside by the electric fireplace. Spend the day on the water or take a 15 minute drive into Battle Creek or Hastings for endless activities such as golfing, shopping, gambling and museums. Comes fully furnished including linens, towels, cookware and WiFi

Place was so nice. Perfect for the 2 of us but can hold more people. Views were amazing and the sunsets were beautiful. Yard was really nice. Very relaxing and peaceful.

We have stayed at this property since 2021 when visiting family in the area. The hosts make sure the cottage is always spotless and well appointed. It's also a very cozy location to return to after adventures. The lake view is lovely, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy the water provided by the hosts. We will be back, again and again.

This was the most perfect place to stay for me my boyfriend and our dog. The cozy lake home was perfect getaway from the city it was clean with a a great lakeview to wake up to. We enjoyed using the paddle boat, Kayaks the outdoor games that were also provided in the shed. Thank you for being dog friendly. We plan on coming back.

A nice quiet little lake. Comfortable, airy cottage. Tight fit for 3 people and 2 dogs and close to the neighbors but a quiet dead end street and gorgeous view. Inly thing missing was a lounge chair!

Very clean inside and out! Maintenance on property grounds was immaculate! Has newer appliances all in great shape. Had small problem with a GFI circuit but host was able to help via text. Had problem resolved in less than 5 mins. Friendly neighbors made our stay even better. Many different birds were seen daily, very entertaining. It was a pleasure to stay there for the week!

25 years ago we bought our cottage on Mill Lake to have a quiet place to go and get away from the busy every day routines. We also wanted our children to have a place to take their friends and enjoy the great outdoors. Our time was split between relaxing and having fun. Our summer weekends were consumed with tubing, fishing, swimming, attending the Hot Air Balloon Festivals, Worlds Largest Breakfast Table along with lots of local attractions. Winter weekends were spent ice fishing, ice skating, sledding and indoor puzzles and games. Thru the years, our family has built many memories on this lake and in town at festivals. In 2012 we purchased and rebuilt the house next to ours. Now our friends and family can also enjoy the area but yet have a private place to stay.

Why they chose this property

Great location just off the main road with only a 15 minute drive into Battle Creek or Hastings for unlimited activities, shopping and festivals. It is also centrally located between Detroit and Chicago. The lake itself is large enough to have fun on but yet small enough to not be busy or overcrowded.

What makes this property unique

Being a small, private lake offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Located on the east side of the lake offers longer evenings and views of the sunset. The dead end road keeps the traffic to a minimal. All sports lake offers endless water activities.
