ENTIRE LOWER LEVEL OF COTTAGE
You'll have the entire Lower Level to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

On the Shores of Algonquin w/ Private Dock - Lower Unit
Large 1 Acre Lot with 150 foot of lake frontage. Spacious 2 bedrooms, Kitchen and Dining area with Lake view from all. Large Family room. Large Covered Patio with Outdoor Funiture, Grill, Fire Pit, Private Dock with Row Boat and Paddle Boat, Kayak, Floaties, Cornhole, board games and a hammock. Free Wi-Fi, 300 channels and streaming apps. Very quiet location with plentiful wildlife and all the sounds of nature. Great fishing from the lakeshore or take the kayak or rowboat out. Beautiful sunsets.

Downtown Hastings is only 5 minutes away with the charm of a small town and all the amenity's to provide your entertainment and comfort. Hiking, Bike trails and Disc Golf nearby. Local Attractions: The Gilmore Car Museum (20 mins away), Moo-Ville Creamery (25 mins), Glass Creek Winery (15 mins), Gun Lake and Firekeeper Casinos, Frederick Meijer Gardens (35 min), Grand Rapids Museum (40 min) restaurants, shopping and more!

Parking is in the covered car port next to the garage with additional parking in drive leading into the car port and next to the drive leading into the car port if necessary. We have a Secuity Camera mounted front of house and by garage door viewing the driveway for added security of your vehicle.

Everything was very clean, and the host went out of their way to leave several amenities for us. It was an extremely professional set up, and would definitely consider staying there again!

Mothers Day visit

We needed a place to stay to visit family in the area and this was perfect. The space was nice and clean, the host communicated well and even though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the lake, we loved the view.

Very clean and nice place for our 3 person family! We enjoyed fishing off the pier and caught lots of fish and used the paddle and row boat! Gary was very nice and helped us empty the water in the water in the boats from the thunderstorm the night before AND he even went out and bought us bait for fishing (which was not expected at all). An additional plus, they provided firewood (and fire starters) for us to have a fire one evening. Thank you for a fun filled family weekend get-away!

Home away from home

We love this location. It's peaceful & quiet....the perfect getaway on the lake. Great for fishing. The living area is very accommodating and the beds are super comfortable. The host is very generous and is quick to answer. We will be back!

Relaxing Lakefront Stay

We had a great time! Our hosts were friendly, kind, and attentive. They were very prompt and responsive to our questions. The property has a great outdoor space for playing any game as well as relaxing to enjoy the view of the lake. The inside was cozy and comfortable. Thanks again!

Loved the location and the activities.

I had 3 teenagers and myself. We all loved everything. We only left once for groceries. The lake, row boat, paddle boat, kayak, corn hole and hammock was the kids favorites. So glad I brought fishing rods too. The kids loved fishing even with just hotdogs and a hook they caught lots of fish. Very clean and the host Gary and his wife were wonderful.

Family getaway

Overall a really nice house. Convenient location, nice size beds, clean & tidy, good refrigeration & air, with a comfortable couch. However, no apps on the tv worked, noisy maintenance on neighbors home early morning, had live TV but basic channels, lake is not meant for swimming(was our main reason for lakeshore choice home-lots of fish). Very beautiful outside! Loved the porch swing, extremely peaceful. Scenery was breathtaking during the stay which is all worth it.

Had a wonderful time!

This is a great place if you want a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Owners lived on site but respected our privacy. Communication was excellent! We enjoyed the paddleboat and watching the swans on the lake every day. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were great! The place is kept very clean and nicely decorated. We had all the towels and kitchen supplies we needed. The town of Hastings is close and we enjoyed all the cool shops and restaurants. We went on the day of the Farmers Market in the downtown market square! Love Hastings! We also visited Lavender Life Farm which is Awesome!! And only a few miles away. Thank you Gary and Kristin for a wonderful getaway!!
