Perfect location, clean and welcoming, comfortable and warm.
The proximity to the centre of Rhosneigr with its bars, restaurants and shops and to the wonderful beaches and lake meant we didn’t use our car except on one day. The house is excellent, just right for dog lovers with a secure garden that takes all the stress out of travelling with dogs. Lovely bathrooms, comfortable beds and a homely lounge as well as a really well equipped kitchen. We had one of our best ever uk holidays here over the new year.

Amazing location for holiday. Pleasant house. Looks like some work in rear garden is still in progress and disappointingly was no DVD player as in listing but would recommend premises. Do be aware that RAF Valley is very close by and so expect to be awoken by noisy jets at 8.0 am and to holiday with the back drop of their roar.
We (2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs) really enjoyed our stay at Cae Cloc. The house was very clean and modern inside. The garden was perfect for dogs , children and drinking G&T in the evening! The location is great - right in the centre but quiet.
It was easy to book and information about arrival was good. Anne even rang us on arrival day to say the property was ready early if we wanted it.
We will definitely be booking this house again.

Filled with natural light and spotlessly clean.
Cae cloc is the most delightful holiday venue. The house is spacious, comfortable and has a lovely view from each window. Very close to the beach and shops. The garden is a real sun trap and the best place to view the stary night sky.

A lovely property in a perfect position
We loved our time staying in Cae Cloc. It’s a really well appointed house with everything you need. Everything went smoothly with the rental. Betty was lovely, so helpful, warm and friendly. The position of this house is a major selling point. A stones throw to the beautiful beach and at the heart of the village. We cannot say enough about our time in Rhosneigr. Highly recommended- although maybe we should keep this little gem a secret for ourselves :)

Lovely well maintained and equipped family house. Close to amenities including safe, sandy beach
We had a lovely stay with our grandchildren, who loved the short walk to the beach. They also enjoyed rock pooling, bathing and the water sports that were also available.
I, as a grandmother, found the house layout very good, especially the kitchen dining area.
The enclosed garden was very good, with a well equipped chalet housing garden furniture and toys. One of the highlights of the holiday was seeing various aircraft, including the Red Arrows.

Clean & Tidy.Good size and good location.
Great location being only a two minute walk to an excellent beach. The rear garden is a decent size and dog friendly as it is completely enclosed.
Only minus point was that the heating was not working in the downstairs wet room but we were aware of that having read some reviews before booking.Overall lovely property and would definitely come back.

Clean and comfortable house in a perfect location
A modern house. Very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly. The location is perfect for access to the village and beaches. Betty and the owners were friendly and accommodating. Comfortable bedrooms and living room for your New Year break. The only very small thing I would say is that the wet room was very cold until you got the hot shower running. Would stay here again.

Hello Wendy. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
We will ask our electrician to have a look at the underfloor heating in the downstairs wetroom as it sounds as though it mustn't have been working properly during your stay, so apologies.
We hope to see you again soon at Cae Cloc.

Large, well appointed property in an excellent location.
We have just returned from a lovely holiday at Cae Cloc - the house has everything you could wish for and would ideally suit dog owners and families - it is only a five minute walk from beautiful, dog-friendly beaches. Rhosneigr is small but has some excellent places to eat and drink in - Chaplin's cafe was particularly good and it also has two late-opening convenience stores.
Thank you to Betty for a lovely stay!

Lovely property, clean and tidy with nice size garden.
Great location - 2 minutes from beach -brilliant for our pup. Nice bottle of wine awaiting us and great to have essentials (salt/pepper/tea/coffee etc) in cupboard. Only downside was plane noise from airbase but this didn't spoil our week.

Myself, my wife, our two teenage sons and our French Bulldog stayed here for our Summer Holiday, 08-Jul-17 to 22-Jul-17.
List of positives specific to the house and in no particular order:
* Spotlessly clean and tidy.
* Well appointed kitchen with more than ample utensils.
* Comfortable living room furniture.
* Table and 6 chairs for meals.
* Good TV (loved the swivel stand).
* A Wii with plenty of games and controllers.
* Several books and more traditional games / jigsaws.
* A fully enclosed, safe garden (our dog loved it).
* A Summer House, which contained among other things, garden furniture and a barbecue.
* The beds are comfortable.
* Adequate storage space for clothes.
* A washing line for drying clothes, as well as a clothes horse.
* A wet room with a shower, sink and a WC downstairs.
* A bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and WC upstairs.
* A driveway that would fit two cars, though we only had the one.
* Quite, cul-de-sac location about 200 yards from the beach and the main village.
List of negatives specific to the house, in no particular order:
* None really. It would be churlish and basically nit picking were we to put anything here.
Would we recommend staying at this property to friends and/or family? Yes, absolutely.
Would we stay here again? Yes, absolutely.

Great location and lovely house.
We had excellent communication from the moment we sent our booking form. Betty had be so quick to answer all our questions and helped in the mix of dates we sent, all with ease.
The house is a fabulous space, very clean and well decorated, lovely bright and airy downstairs, well supplied kitchen, and great shower room downstairs especially useful for washing us and the dog off after being to beach, 2 minute walk away.
Being in early season we did find a few shops shut, and pizza takeaway on open til 9 Friday and Saturday, but you have the fabulous Oyster Catcher just down road with great food and the bar and seating area is dog friendly and great hosts.
We had a wonderful weeks holiday and highly recommend Cae Cloc especially if you have a dog, as super place and very friendly.

About the host
Hosted by Betty
Mike, Ann and Katie bought the house in 2006. They have been windsurfing, surfing and kitesurfing in the bay and enjoying all that Rhosneigr has to offer for over 20 years. The property is managed by Betty who lives near the village and ensures the property is spotless on your arrival.
Why they chose this property
The house is close to the beach and water sports in the middle of the village but is tucked away so that even locals forget where it is. You can buy milk from the local corner shop and be back before the kettle has boiled.
What makes this property unique
property location garden safe quiet nice size recently refurbed with open plan feel
