Fantastic quirky property

The house was beautiful with individual touches and wonderful views. Situated in a picturesque village with a little cafe, bakery and restaurant. A wonderful base for exploring Lake Garda. Host was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Fantastic!

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus

Das Haus liegt ein Stück den Berg hoch und man kann nicht direkt am Haus parken. Dafür hat man ganz viel Ruhe und wunderschöne Aussichten. Das Haus selbst ist sehr schön und nicht alltäglich. Der Gastgeber Nico ist sehr nett und gibt sich sehr viel Mühe! Wir würden wiederkommen.

Top Location in idyllischer Umgebung

Sehr geräumiges Haus mit interessanter Architektur, Räume auf mehreren Etagen halbstockweise versetzt angeordnet. Schönes Interieur, gut eingerichtete Küche, gutes Bett, sauberes Bad, geräumige moderne Dusche. Würden wir wieder wählen. Die Zufahrt ist mit größeren Autos schwierig, weil sehr enge Gassen, aber es stehen im Ort Parkplätze zur Verfügung.

Gardasee ist einfach wunderschön für's Urlaub. Waren zum ersten Mal auf Gardasee.

Sehr positive Erfahrung. Die Wohnungseinrichtung bis ins Detail. Wunderschöner Ausblick über den Gardasee auf eine Seite und über die Berge auf andere Seite. Problemlose und freundliche,nette Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Enge Straßen ist Übungssache. Allgemein schöne Ortschaften. Wer Ruhe im Urlaub braucht und wirklich sich erholen möchte auf jeden Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder . Ich war mit meinen Kindern und Eltern dort, genug Platz in der Wohnung, jeder hatte seine Stille Ecke für sich.

Lovely quirky house in the hills

Stayed at Nico’s house for 5 nights. Chose the house for its quirkiness and the view of lake Garda from one of the bedrooms/studio was wonderful. House well equipped and lovely shower. Would say that property not suitable for young children or anyone with mobility issues as there are a lot of stairs. Access from public parking is also via about 30-40 steps and a short walk to the house. Would have liked it more if there had been a garden to sit in. The roads up to Gaino from Toscalano are quite challenging with a few hairpin bends and narrow roads. Toscalano had some nice restaurants and walks down by the harbour. Nico very helpful and met us in the village to guide us to the house.

Fantastischer Urlaub

Alle guten Bewertungen stimmen hier tatsächlich! Sei es das Haus, die Lage, die Aussicht aus dem Studio oder die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter Nico Iorio. Auch, dass die Straßen oftmals sehr sehr eng sind. Wir fahren einen Leon und am letzten Tag gab es dann doch einen kleinen Kratzer am Spiegel. Kleines Andenken ;-) Zur Osteria in Gaino haben wir es leider nicht geschafft. Dafür aber in die Osteria Gatto d'Oro in Maderno. Tolles Ambiente, sehr sehr lecker und super freundlich. Tisch bestellen ist nötig. Im Juni sind die Straßen leider schon öfter verstopft. Wir haben deshalb entspanntes Bootfahren vorgezogen. Man kommt überall relativ flott hin. Wir sind nicht diejenigen, die immer wieder an einen Ort zurückkehren. Dafür gibt es zu viele andere schöne Plätze, die es zu entdecken gilt. Bei dieser Unterkunft ist es anders, weil wirklich alles gepasst hat und deshalb kommen wir sehr gern wieder. Wunderschöner Kurzurlaub

Schon die Kontaktaufnahme zu Nico war sehr freundlich, ganz unkompliziert und mit höchst umfangreichen Informationen zu Unterkunft und Zufahrt versehen. Das Haus im Split-Level-System ist ganz außergewöhnlich individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet. Ich würde es nicht für Familien mit kleinen Kindern und betagten Personen, die sich unsicher auf Treppen fühlen, empfehlen. Aber für uns war es perfekt! Der Ausblick vom oberen Studio über die Dächer, die hügelige Landschaft und den See im Tal war etwas ganz Besonderes. Wir haben uns nach allen Ausflügen immer auf's “Heimkommen“ gefreut. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen, auch mit unseren 2 erwachsenen Kindern zusammen. Im Sommer würde ich zu viert wahrscheinlich einen Sitzplatz im Freien zum Essen vermissen, aber es gibt einen kleinen Balkon und die große Fensterfront im oberen Studio lässt sich weit aufschieben. Wir haben die Zeit dort auf alle Fälle genossen.

Unkomplizierte Buchung. Top Vermieter, sehr hilfreich. Mein Mann ist Dialysepatient und bekam Lieferung, reibungsloser Ablauf. Parken am Objekt nur zum Be- und Entladen möglich. Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Aussicht vom Studio ist traumhaft schön. Danke für alles Nico.

Très belle location dans un village typique

Très bon accueil de Nico ! Maison de village avec beaucoup de charme. Ideal pour être au calme au centre du village et à proximité de petits magasins er services dans le village et pas loin du lac où nous avons pu faire du canoë sur ce lac splendide à leau transparente. De belles vacances !

Very nice retreat 10 minutes from the lake in a beautiful and very comfortable house. We loved to stay here. The owner Nico is very nice and helpful. Getting our morning cappuccino in the local cafe at the tiny village square was such a nice treat despite the grumpy cafe owner. 😀

Wundervolles Haus oberhalb des Gardasees

Das sehr schön, mit Liebe renovierte Haus liegt oberhalb des Gardasees in dem kleinen, charmanten Örtchen Gaino. Das Haus zeichnet eine wundervolle Atmosphäre aus, die sich auf mehreren Etagen erstreckt. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll modern passend zum Stil des Hauses gewählt. Nach einem erlebnisreichen Urlaubstag ist die Freude auf einen gemütlichen Abend in diesem entspannten und besonderen Ambiente groß. Die Kommunikation vor und während des Urlaubes mit dem sehr netten Vermieter ist unkompliziert und angenehm. Das Objekt ist in allen Belangen zu empfehlen. Wohlfühloase in kleinem Dörfchen

Wir, als fünfköpfige Familie, haben die Woche in diesem mit sehr viel Geschmack und liebe zum Detail eingerichteten Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Nico ist ein excellenter Gastgeber und beherrscht die deutsche Sprache perfekt. Das Haus liegt schön und sehr ruhig in einem kleinen Dörfchen, aber alles ist in kürzester Zeit mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Nico ist für alle Fragen offen und ist jederzeit telefonisch für seine Gäste zu erreichen. Vielen, lieben Dank für die tolle Woche am Gardasee.

Herrlich, Italien im Frühling

Wir ( zwei erwachsene und zwei Kinder mit 3 und 6 Jahren) haben eine wunderschöne Woche im Haus von Nico am Gardasee erlebt. Der Ort Gaino ist ein niedliches authentisches Dorf oberhalb des Gardasees, eingebettet in wunderschöner Landschaft. Vom Haus aus kann man direkt in die Natur starten oder aus dem kleinen Hafen im unterhalb, mit dem Auto in ca. 5 min entfernt, gelegenen Ort Maderno mit der Fähre die einzelnen Orte rund um den Gardasee erkunden. Auch die Autofähre legt hier in Richtung Torri ab.In Gaino gibt es ein Restaurant, einen kleinen Bäcker und einen Dorfladen, in dem wir morgens keine Touristen, sondern die Dorfbewohner angetroffen haben. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Geschmack und Stiel eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt und Nico, der Eigentümer, ist immer per WhatsApp parat, erklärt einem - auf Deutsch- sehr aufmerksam alles was man wissen muss, gibt gute Tipps und hat alle Infos perfekt in seiner Gästemappe zusammengestellt. Er kommt angefahren, wenn man ihn braucht, lässt einen aber ansonsten in Ruhe den Urlaub genießen. Aus dem obersten Zimmer hat man einen traumhaften Blick über den Gardasee, aus den anderen einen Blick in die grünen Berge. Die Zimmer sind alle sehr gemütlich, sehr sauber und auf dem kleinen Balkon zum Innenhof kann man abends zu zweit sehr gut sitzen. Wir können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen und blicken immer wieder sehr gern und sehnsüchtig auf den Urlaub zurück. Danke Nico, bis bald! Marili, Friso, Katharina und Hanno

Molto confortevole e grande disponibilità

Abbiamo passato con la famiglia (2 adulti e bimbo piccolo) una settimana in questa confortevolissima casa. Il padrone è gentilissimo e super disponibile, ci aiutato per ogni ns esigenza. Il paese è piccolo ma delizioso e tranquillo, la vista è ottima. La casa è arredata in maniera originale e molto confortevole su diversi livelli. Non manca nulla. Schönes Haus - schöne Zeit!

Modernes Rustcio in einem alten Bergdorf

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtete Räume mit geschmackvoller Deko. Gut bestückte Küche. Geräumiges Bad mit großer Dusche. Das Wohnzimmer ist separat, mit gemütlicher Couch und ist modern eingerichtet. Schlafzimmer mit gutem Bett und viel Platz um die Kleidung unterzubringen, mit zusätzlicher Toilette. Großes Kabinett mit Blick auf den See, abends sehr romantisch und absolut ruhig. Alles war sauber und professionell gemacht. Da alle fünf Ebenen über Treppen zu erreichen sind, sollte man dieses nicht als Last empfinden. Bei der Anfahrt in dieses recht enge Dorf, empfiehlt es sich den unteren Parkplatz mit zugehöriger Treppe zu wählen, da die engen Sträßchen für uns ungewohnt sind und leicht zu Karambolagen führen können. Als besondere Anmerkung ist Nico, der Vermieter zu nennen. Seine Anfahrtsbeschreibungen sind perfekt, wie sein Deutsch. Absolut hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sofort zur Stelle, wenn irgendwas nicht klar ist. Fazit: Wenn alles so reibungslos läuft, kann man nur 5 Sterne und gern noch einen mehr, geben. Dank an Nico und seiner liebenswerten Gattin.
