Cottage in a Water Mill - LE BEZ

Water Mill of Record, 15th Century, Tarn (Midi-Pyrénées), Southern France

Just take a look at our Bed & Breakfast and Self-catering Holiday Cottages located at the foot of Ferrières, thirty minutes from Castres (81) and ten minutes from Brassac, the 'Moulin de Record', 15th century, beautifully restored between 1996 and 2002, with an exceptional location: just like a diamond in its setting, the mill (formerly biggest mill in the department) dominates the end of a green and untouched valley, part of the Regional Park of Haut-Languedoc, and situated in the very heart of Sidobre in the Tarn.

Our individual and self catering holiday cottages charm an audience that comes not only for fishing (private and exclusively reserved to residents of the Mill of Record), but especially and above all to relax, recharge batteries, wishing to return to nature.

Our holiday cottage (we have 3 in total) has two main rooms equipped with kitchen, dining area, lounge area with TV and comfortable sofa, bathroom with shower, seperate WC, bedroom with a queen size bed (160x200), a convertible armchair for 1 person, and baby bed on request.

The cottage has view on the river (the Agoût) with terrace, BBQ outside. Possibility of 'Table d'hôte', dinner on reservation.

High season (July & August): weekly/fortnight renting only
other seasons (September to June): 2 nights minimum

Price includes bed cloth, electricity and water.
Extra cost: bath towels (3€/towel);
end-cleaning -if not done by yourself- (50€)
Internet (10€ for your stay of more than 4 nights)
tourist tax (about 0.60€/person and per night)

Que du bonheur dans cet endroit magique..des hôtes super sympas avec une table d'hôtes fait de produits régionaux et une cuisinière hors pair !!! Les baignades dans la rivière, des ballades magnifiques, la pêche aux écrevisses que de super souvenirs...

Excellent séjour au calme dans un endroit serein

Séjour merveilleux, avec le beau temps en prime. J'ai profité de la dernière semaine de la saison de pêche et j'ai beaucoup aimé la pêche aux écrevisses avec les propriétaires et les autres locataires! Un moment de pure détente. Merci beaucoup! A l'année prochaine!

What makes this property unique

The Water Mill of Record is situated in a green and untouched valley. Our first neighbours are in Ferrières, about 1 km
Private fishing.
The most interesting tourist attractions are 'the Sidobre', spectacular and incredible stone formations done by the erosion of millions of years.
You can also visit Castres, beautiful town about 20 minutes from the Mill, with a great cultural program during the summer months.

Absolutely to visit:
In Albi (about 60 km) you can visit the magnificent cathedral (UNESCO 2010), Carcassonne (about 70 km) is also very nice to visit.
Cordes-sur-Ciel (about 95 km) is a magnificent village in our department.
