What a wonderful stay! The house is clean, beautiful and the backyard leads right into the vineyard. Lots of wineries and the town of Sancerre so close by. I wish we stayed longer.

Fantastic location and property.

Very well equipped, maintained and cleaned. Probably the best I have stayed in during the past twenty years of visiting France. Friends loved it too, would stay longer another time. RECOMMENDED.

Rustic cottage right in the vineyard

Nice cottage In excellent location right in Domaine Reverdy Ducroux. Shabby chic in nature but with everything you need. Excellent outside garden space with lovely view over the vines.

The pictures of this gite do not do it justice.the views from the end of the garden are amazing and there are two sun loungers set up there to enjoy the view of the vineyards with a glass of wine in hand.. The place wax a lot bigger than the pictures looked and everywhere was spotless. Communication with the host was perfect and when we had a problem with some lights it had been fixed within an hour. The bottle of wine already chilled in the fridge was a lovely touch. The gardens were very private so you could sit out at night and not feel overlooked. The area is very quiet generally and especially at night. There are numerous domaines within walking distance to wine taste and we did a tour of Alice’s own cellars which were a couple of doors down. For 15 euros each (children free) we looked around the cellars and the lady talked about the wine making process and then we tried nine wines. I would highly recommend this! Sancerre is an 1hr 10 walk from the gite and there are lots of shops for wine tasting there and some lovely restaurants. There is also a self guided tour around the town by following a red line on the floor from the tourist information office. Overall an amazing gite-we couldn’t have asked for more! We just wished we could have stayed longer-2 nights was not enough! Thankyou Alice!

Peace, tranquility, comfort, exceptional wine

We had a great week in June 2023 at the Gite and would recommend to anyone wanting something a bit different but peaceful. Loads of walking, activities and of course wine tasting to be had. We were actually on a golf break but want to do some wine tasting too, so it was a perfect location. Alice was fantastic in communicating all the info we needed. Thoroughly recommend the place.

Stay here - I loved this place.

First, the views as I drive towards the apartment are striking. It is harvest in this famous wine region of France. The apartment was very clean and offered outstanding views of the vineyard behind the apartment. I recommend you stay here and immerse yourself in the local outstanding vineyards of Sancerre.

Excellent séjour. Bon accueil.
