The perfect cosy chalet

We had a very pleasant stay in the cosy chalet. With the 3 bedrooms upstairs and 1 bedroom downstairs, it was perfect for our family of 4 plus grandparents. The host always friendly and the chalet organised and clean. Would definitely recommend!

A Beautiful Place to Enjoy Megeve

I cannot say enough good things about our stay. The home is lovely, extremely clean, well appointed, and only a 10 minute walk to the Rochebrune cable car. Odile was very responsive and accommodating and made check in and out very easy. The only negative - having to leave this piece of heaven. Don’t think twice - stay here! It is a fantastic option for beautiful Megeve.

Ons weekje wintersport was zeer geslaagd in het huis van Odile.Het huis is gezellig en praktisch ingericht. Alles was schoon en netjes.De kamers beschikken over goede bedden en voldoende kastruimte, de badkamers zijn ruim en de keukeninventaris is meer dan volledig.Goede pannen om te koken. Serviesgoed en glazen voldoende om met een gezelschap goed te dineren, ook als de vaatwasser al gevuld is. Er is een makkelijke verbinding met de Meg-bus naar de skipiste en het dorp.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce chalet très cosy et très bien equipé. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse même si elle n’offre pas de vue sur les massifs montagneux.

A superb vacation in Megève at the wonderful and charming chalet Le Croesni!

We enjoyed a fabulous two-week vacation in Megève, France. We stayed at Le Croesni chalet, and everything about our stay was perfect. The chalet is a short, easy 15-minute stroll to Megève. There is also a free bus that will take you to the town center in about 5 minutes. Bakeries, farm markets, horse-drawn carriages, and shopping are all right there in the town center. There is also a superb Palais des Sports, which offers an amazing array of indoor and outdoor pools/spa facilities, etc. Great for the kids and the adults. Megève is quite simply one of the most charming villages in France. If you walk in the opposite direction from Megève center from the chalet, you find yourself immediately strolling amongst rolling hillsides dotted with grazing cows, horses, goats and sheep. The mountain views are spectacular and all around you. Geneva International Airport (and the train station) is less than an hour drive away. The Le Croesni chalet is clean, charming, roomy, and is supplied with all of the dishes, cooking utensils, and other essential items you might need to easily host 10 people or more. (There are also fondue pans, raclette makers, etc.) The chalet is open and sunny, with lots of windows affording beautiful mountain views. There is a nice patio opening up from the dining room, with a large dining table and built-in barbecue; the garden is lovely, private, and quiet. We rented the small apartment in the basement of the chalet (one bedroom, nice separate bathroom) to accommodate our extra visitors. There are two common/family room areas – one on the main floor, and one on the second floor, which both have good seating areas and large televisions. The bedrooms were all well-appointed, the beds comfortable. At one point, ten of us were staying at the house, and we all felt happy and comfortable, and there was adequate room for all of us. The décor is charming, in the mountain/Savoyard style. The owner, Odile Socquet-clerc, was extremely nice and very eager to do everything she could to make our stay perfect. She could not have been more flexible, helpful, and kind. My extended family and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay at Le Croesni chalet. Even though we have only been home for a week, we are already talking about planning our next vacation to Megève!

Très bonnes vacances à Megève

Séjour très appréciable dans ce chalet bien exposé, grand, fonctionnel et confortable. Il est en outre excellement entretenu. La propriétaire, mégevanne d'origine, est constamment à votre écoute et réactive à la moindre de vos demandes. Un arrêt de bus tout proche du chalet, permet de se rendre gratuitement en tous points de la station si d'aventure vous souhaitiez laisser votre véhicule à demeure, à l'abri d'un parking couvert/fermé. Nous y reviendrions avec grand plaisir

Calme et sérénité. Les propriétaires ont tout préparé pour un séjour reposant. L'accueil est chaleureux, le chalet est bien équipé , notamment pour les enfants en bas âge, Les enfants ont adoré le grand jardin pour jouer, et nous, la très belle terrasse éclairée pour les dîners tardifs entre amis.Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr !!! Très beau chalet dans environnement calme avec une belle vue, bien agencé et équipé, , offrant une atmosphère chaleureuse et personnelle. Emplacement de 1er ordre à seulement 10mn a pied du centre de Megève. Les propriétaires sont d'une grande gentillesse et d'une disponibilité rares. A wonderful chalet

Set a 15 minute walk from trhe centre this is a super chalet with quality fitting and furniture throughout and a wealth of decorative pieces and art adding to the ambience. The kitchen is well equipped again with quality equipment and fine porcelein and cutlery. There a 3 televisions and internet access is good. Lots of outdoor seating available great built in BBQ. The basement has all the laundry facilities you need and lots of storage. The highest levels of houskeeping evident in all areas. The whole chalet is a gem, and the owners who live below are charming and do everything you require to add to your holiday but do respect your privacy. The whole stay exceeded our expectations and we had a most enjoyable stay in a chalet that is a credit to the owners. I cannot recommend this property highly enough
