Villa Paladino is WONDERFUL!

Our stay at Villa Paladino Solunto was excellent! Marida was a wonderful host- she was very responsive and available to answer any of our questions. The accommodation was beautiful and included everything we could possibly need. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool was just as refreshing as it was lovely with an amazing panoramic view. The property was secure and quiet but within easy walking distance to everything we wanted to see and to the train station! And lastly, meeting Bon Bon, her beautiful dog, was a bonus for our family and made us feel even more at home. We would highly recommend and love to go back Villa Paladino!

Un agréable séjour

Nous avons été parfaitement accueillis par Marida et son mari, qui sont très gentils et charmants ainsi que Baba (leur chien adorable). Les gîtes sont agréables, il y a tout le nécessaire, une piscine originale avec une belle vue dégagée sur les montagnes. Bien situé, proche de Palerme et pas trop loin de Céfalu. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.

Magnifique, accueillant, un petit paradis

Nous sommes partis à 3, ma meilleure amie, son frère et moi, et avons passé en Sicile un séjour mémorable. Marida et son mari sont des gens accueillants, adorables et chaleureux, qui vous proposent un cadre magnifique qui vous plaira sans aucun doute!!! Palerme et la Sicile sont belles, et vous vous sentirez dans la villa comme chez vous. Nous serions bien resté là bas pour de bon :)

schönes Anwesen in erhabener Lage mit hohem Erholungsfaktor

Unsere sehr nette Vermieterin hegte bereits vorab regen Email-Kontakt und WhatsApp, um unsere Ankunft bestmöglichst vorzubereiten. Dementsprechend hat unsere Anreise mit dem Leihwagen dann auch prima geklappt. (Ein Mietwagen ist wegen der abgeschiedenen Lage unbedingt nötig - Parkplätze vorhanden) Wir wurden von Marida herzlich in Empfang genommen, unsere Wohnung gezeigt und in alles eingwiesen. Sie hat uns auch gleich mit Ausflugstipps überhäuft - davon konnten wir zwar nur die Hälfte behalten - aber egal. Fürs erste Frühstück hatte sie ebenfalls gesorgt. Wir haben im Kühlschrank Milch, Butter, Wasser und Saft vorgefunden und dazu ein paar Hörnchen. Unser Aufenthalt war insgesamt sehr entspannt. Die Kinder durften auf dem Gelände herumräubern und auch mit dem Hund und den Katzen spielen. Der Hund Baba ist eher wild und verspielt - daher sollten sich Leute mit Angst vor Hunden unbedingt gleich vorher bescheid geben, dann wird Marida ihn nur in ihren Privatgarten lassen. Der Pool war bei unserem Aufenthalt Ende März noch im Winterschlaf. Poolbenutzung ist auf Nachfrage nur von Mai bis Oktober möglich. Nachdem es ohnehin zu kalt und recht windig war, stellte das jedoch keinerlei Problem dar. Alles in Allem war es ein rundum gelungener Urlaub in schöner Umgebung auf den von Obstbäumen umgebenen Areal am Berghang der Ausgrabungsstätte von Solunto!

I'm very happy when my guests enjoy their stay in my home and they fall in love with my beloved Palermo and the whole Island. I welcome them as old and dearest friends and we become friends soon. I take care about their relax and suggest the most interesting places to visit during their holidays in Sicily. I also keep my dog under strict control so as not to disturb my guests, but I'm happy when Babà is a lovely and unforgettable "baby sitter". The pool is available for free from the end of April to the end of October. I hope to see my guests-friends again as soon as possible. I wish them all the best. .

Une villa splendide avec vue panoramique.

Nous avons passer une semaine à deux couples en Sicile dans la villa de Marida. Cet endroit est tout simplement splendide. La villa est agréable; reposante et correspond exactement à ce que nous avions réservé.. Je recommande cet endroit les yeux fermés à toutes personnes souhaitant passer un agréable moment en Sicile. Merci Marida pour ton accueil chaleureux et tes conseils pour nos visites de la Sicile.

Séjour parfait

Nous étions deux couple d'amis et avons passé un merveilleux moment à Santa Flavia. La villa que nous avions réservé a parfaitement correspondu à nos attentes. L'endroit est magnifique et Marida nous a recommandé de nombreux endroits à visiter et nous a accueilli chaleureusement. Je vous conseille ce séjour à 100% !

Schön gelegene Ferienwohnung in einer liebevoll gestaltete Anlage

Die Ferienwohnung ist schön gelegen und der Blick wunderbar vor allem vom Swimming Pool aus Geschäfte und Bahnhof in 5 min erreichbar. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!!!

You went sightseeing Palermo and Bagheria by train and walking to the nice fishing villages of Santa Flavia, Porticello, Sant'Elia and Aspra, where you tasted some Sicilian specialties. Bellissima casa sulle colline,ad un passo dal mare

Gli appartamenti che costituiscono il complesso di Villa Paladino Solunto sono una scelta perfetta per chi desideri visitare quest'incantevole angolo della Sicilia. Siamo stati ospiti di Marida per alcuni giorni nello scorso mese di dicembre, nell' appartamento denominato "Mandarino". Esso fa parte di un complesso, annesso ad una villa circondata da un bellissimo agrumeto. La proprietaria abita in loco. E' stata molto gentile e disponibile in ogni fase del nostro soggiorno, la prenotazione è stata perfezionata celermente e con grande facilità, è stata molto efficace nella comunicazione, fornendoci anche istruzioni molto dettagliate per giungere a destinazione. E' stata disponibile ad accoglierci per il check-in alla sera, e ci ha fornito indicazioni preziose per il nostro soggiorno. Abbiamo trovato la casa in perfette condizioni, sia per la pulizia che per le dotazioni, ed in generale per la comodità e fruibilità. Quindi, il nostro soggiorno (ahimè, troppo breve ....) si è svolto nel migliore dei modi. Location assolutamente da consigliare!

Estancia muy agradable

Marida y Giuseppe nos acogieron muy bien. Aunque éramos los únicos alojados con niños pequeños, estuvieron muy pendientes de que todo saliera bien. El alojamiento está en una zona apartada del mundanal ruido y poder darte un baño en esa piscina tan agradable en cualquier momento, nos ayudó mucho a soportar el calor. Recomendable.

Très bon accueil et repos assuré

L'accueil et la générosité de Marida représentent toutes les valeurs que nous avons pu constater chez les Siciliens au niveau de l'hospitalité. Nous avons passé un formidable séjour en compagnie de nos hôtes. La villa est magnifique avec un jardin où il fait bon se reposer. La propriété est bien placée pour les différentes visites. On conseille aussi fortement la sortie sur le bateau de pêche de Enzo qui a le don de raconter l'histoire de la baie de Palerme. Merci encore à Marida et Peppe pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse

Charming, friendly and helpful

Dear Marida and Giuseppe, We thank you very much for your hospitallity and your helpfulness during our holiday at your lovely villa. We stayed in two of your suites: Fico Nero and Mandarino and we are very impressed by the lovely Sicilian style of both the interior and exterior. We specially want to mention the wonderful litho's of Giuseppe in the suites. Everything is very comfortable, smooth and clean. We stayed for three weeks, visited a lot of the adorable island and every time we came back, it was a feast looking at the lovely gardens, the swimming pool and the view. It was a very relaxing stay, thanks to your charming, friendly and helpful way of managing your business. We wish you all the best, we specially recommend your villa among all our friends and hope we will meet eachother soon in Sicilia or in Paesi Bassi!

Confortable and pleasant location well located

We stayed in this house last May and it has been a marvellous holiday. We recommand this place, for its location which allow everyone to discover the north of Sicily, and which is very confortable. We had a very nice stay and appreciated a lot the welcoming of our hosts who have always been very pleasent and careful. They give us the idea of coming back there another spring, without any hesitation.

Formidable séjour

C'est une splendide propriété. Tout y est aménagé avec beaucoup de goût. On s'y sent vraiment bien. C'est un véritable havre de paix. Marida est très accueillante et passionnée par sa région. Elle nous a offert un granité au citron fait maison dont nous nous sommes régalés. Nous avons déjà recommandé cette location à notre famille. Elle est très bien située pour visiter le nord de la Sicile. Et pour ceux qui (comme moi) n'ont pas envie de se rendre à Palerme en voiture, un train part toutes les heures de la gare de Santa Flavia (à 500 m de chez Marida). En 20 minutes vous êtes au coeur de Palerme et sans aucun stress. Merci Marida pour cet inoubliable séjour!

Wonderful relaxing place to stay !

First of all, I would like to thank the owners for their hospitality. The hostess Marida made us some delicious cake during our stay and the host Beppe offered to gave us a ride to the railway station a couple of times. They were very kind. The villa was nicely decorated and clean, also the beach themed swimming pool looked beautiful and had a great view of the surrounding mountains. It's a very peaceful place where you can definitely have a relaxing holiday. We had a wonderful stay at Villa Paladino Solunto and would really recommend it to anyone visiting Sicily !

Que du bonheur!

Endroit magnifique, très paisible et bien situé pour visiter la région. La location est très chouette, joliment décorée et très propre. Le jardin, avec piscine, est un petit coin de paradis! Les propriétaires sont charmants, très accueillants et nous partagent volontiers quelques conseils bien utiles pour passer un séjour agréable. A recommander!

C'est dans un jardin magnifique que vous decouvrez une bien jolie maison. L’accueil de Marida et Giuseppe est très chaleureux et Marida porte une attention toute particulière aux enfants.la piscine est un régal pour les yeux et un bonheur pour s'y baigner.La vue sur Palerme est à couper le souflle.Que du bonheur ...

Great holidays, great place and realxing time

We stayed in this lovely house in September 2013 and had a great time...the house is lovely with an amazing swimming pool and a stunning view on the sea and the mountains. Marida is very friendly and so helpful....definitively a place to go
