Best place ever

It is the finest House with the most amasing location near the ocean. The pool and the view is fantastic. The host is sweet and very good at communication. We Will for sure recommend this House.

Due famiglie danesi ospiti perfetti e responsabili. Li ho consigliati sui luoghi da vedere e siamo andati anche a cena insieme in un ottimo ristorante siciliano. Ci siamo proprio divertiti.

Great quiet location and view of the sea. Simple basic accommodation.

Pros: nice small pool, the view, the waves 10-15 meters from house, friendly owner. Quiet headland location, Scoglitti village 10 mins drive with basic amenities nice grocers and bakers etc. No tourists in October. Informal and simple lifestyle for a chill out. Accoms for 11 in a 3 bed and 4 doubles. Nice outside sun area overlooking the Med. if you want an unsophisticated chill out place for a large group away from it all then this would suit. Beach access 2 mins away but littered as are many Italian beaches esp out of season. Some good waves for bodyboarding along this coast. The cost per week is very reasonable. But you get what you pay for. It is what they call authentic. Cons. Plenty of these. Very basic accommodation. Student style. No lounge or comfy inside area. Sceptic tank only so no loo paper can be used. 1 outside ground floor loo shower bidet for the room on 1st half landing. No glass window for this room only wooden shutter. Top level has 1 bathroom serving 2 doubles. Some beds are ok. Others are camp beds put together. Ground floor has a bathroom for 2 remaining bedrooms. Decor, kitchen equipment, bedding, bathrooms layout and fixtures could be upgraded a lot! The area is surrounded by plastic poly tunnels for veg and fruit and is not pretty or looked after but it’s a poor area on a poor island. Great base to explore Montalbano sites and temples museums and nicer towns. Arturo the owner lives an hour away and is nice enough. All that said we had a good time.

The villa has 200sqm of verandas on the sea. ALL ROOMS and all bathrooms have windows to the sea. The beds are all new and the sheets are all new and signed by a great Italian designer of world renown. Tourists AD OCTOBER do not come to the sea, before there were thousands. We even brought guests who thanked, in a great restaurant that did a 50% discount. The fully functional swimming pool overlooks the sea and even has whirlpool jets. We even collected the rubbish in their place to promote their holiday ... I do not know what we had to do more ...

Arturo est un hôte remarquable. La maison est idéalement située par rapport à la mer et le calme, à tout de même 3 km du centre de Scoglitti. La piscine est relativement grande et parfaitement entretenue. La maison est fonctionnelle, propre et les chambres sont grandes. L'air ambiant est tempéré par des ventilateurs, pas de climatisation au sens propre du terme (du moins pas utilisable durant notre séjour). Les salles de bain sont correctes, mais ne vous attendez pas à 4 bars de pression... La plage juste à côté est propre et jolie! Tout l'extérieur de la maison est splendide, une immense terrasse à côté de la piscine avec de grandes tables, à l'ombre et tout le confort nécessaire. Mais la première qualité de cette maison est également la qualité d'accueil d'Arturo et de sa femme Emilia. Nous avons pu partager avec eux un repas typique sicilien dans un agroturismo, la communication est simple entre un mélange d'anglais et d'italien et ils sont vraiment aux petits soins s'il y a le moindre souci. La vue est incroyable avec une terrasse sur le toit qui donne une vue imprenable sur la mer et son coucher de soleil... Je ne peux que recommander cette maison, qui a été idéale pour 3 adultes et 4 ados!

Due famiglie svizzere sono stati ospitati nella nostra villa a mare. È stato un vero piacere poterli consigliare su cosa vedere e fare. Abbiamo persino condiviso una cena in un agriturismo con grande soddisfazione di tutti. Genitori e figli educatissimi e simpaticissimi. I I ragazzi, bellissimi, sempre positivi e felici di conoscere la Sicilia. Hanno lasciato la villa in perfette condizioni e saremo felici di ospitarli ancora.

Waanzinnig mooi huis met prachtig uitzicht

We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door Arturro. Wat een lieve man. Het huis was perfect qua kamer en wat een uitzicht. Het huis is niet modern ingericht maar dat is niet zo belangrijk. Wel helaas erg veel spullen overal her en der. De eerste twee dagen hebben vooral opgeruimd en schoongemaakt om een beetje orde te scheppen. Ook een beetje uit liefde voor Arturro! Het huis is voldoende koel met alle ventilatoren Warm water was niet echt beschikbaar. Maar daar was het gelukkig te heet voor. Kortom voor een grote groep is het echt een heerlijk huis en dat uitzicht gaan we nooit meer vergeten!
