Access to the Colesseum

Excellent location, 3 minutes to the Colesseum, even close access to great restaurant and bars. If traveling with family, separate rooms are to rest and unwind.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. You could not get closer to the Coliseum if you tried. Alessandra had great tips and the restaurant she recommended was by far the best we had!

Great location dor winter visit

first off,the location is great. close to sights,stores,and restaurants. a few snafus with checkin and the apartment, but it is not presented as a 5 star rental so those are expected. we had a very comfortable visit

Great location and felt safe

Overall this was a great location with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Comfortable and quiet stay for my family with 3 teenage boys. Would highly recommend to friends and family to stay there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Rome. Location was outstanding! Walking distance to the Colosseum and other sites. Easy access to metro and bus stops to get to other attractions. Plenty of delicious restaurants just meters away. Apartment was comfortable, clean and provided all basic amenities. We enjoyed the patio in the morning while drinking coffee. Alessandra was a great host, answered questions and communicated well.Only note I would make is that the second bedroom with twin beds is down a steep set of stairs, which was fine for us, but may be an issue for people with mobility issues. There is a pull out couch in the den.Thank you Alessandra!

Colosseum Stay

This was a nice property very close to the Colosseum and other historical attractions in Rome. It's basic, but comfortable, and the host was helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful location

Alessandra was very helpful both before the trip and during our initial days. The property is very well located and we enjoyed her nearby restaurant recommendations. Communication with her was easy. We very much appreciated our stay in central Rome.

Lovely stay in Rome

This cute apartment has all of the charm that you would expect. A very comfortable and quiet place to stay in a great location. Walking distance to all of the sights that you would want to visit. We would highly recommend staying here.

Great spot

Excellent location, charming flat, superb communication with host. Not sure if I misunderstood the listing but I had thought based on pics that there were three bedrooms in addition to a living room, but the living room is the third bedroom with just a pull out couch.

Best host and location

Cannot best this location. Close to everything, including the mervelous San Clemente Basilica 1/2 block away. Safe area full of restaurants and farm stands. Alessandra is a wonderful host and helped us a lot with suggestions, instructions. Very pleasant stay.

Good location.

Good location for getting about - maybe a bit noisy in the early morning. Beds and furniture are a bit tired and floor needs a good steam cleaning and sealing. We enjoyed the outdoor space and the cafe on the corner is excellent.

Super location, great host!

We really enjoyed our stay at the colosseum garden! The location is impeccable - walk out the front door, look left and there's the coliseum! Walk to the right and at the end of the block is San Clemente. Across the street are great restaurants, as well. I lived in Italy for 2 years and speak Italian, and this place was a great place to stay! The hostess, Alessandra, was also great. She was communicative prior to our arrival and even one night while there when I thought I was locked out. She was a pleasure to work with!

Perfect Place to Begin

We are so grateful and happy with our stay at the Colosseum Garden. It was the perfect place to start our family's Italy adventure. Our host arranged airport transport and greeted us at the apartment upon arrival, even making us a cup of coffee and making wonderful suggestions for places to eat and things to see. The apartment turned out to be in what I look back as my favorite part of Rome, fa little off the beaten path so quieter, and filled with delicious cafes and a nearby grocery, as well as the most incredible Basilica of St Clement. The beds were comfortable, wifi worked great and the apartment was filled with such old incredible character. If I ever am so lucky as to go back to Rome, I would definitely stay here again!! Grazie!!!

Great apartment

Great location with lots of restaurants close by for dinner options at night. We spent a week here as a launching point for touring Rome and the location worked out really well. Apartment was nice, had everything we needed. AC worked really well, we have 2 kids and 1 stayed down in the downstairs bedroom and the other in the pull out couch. The TV was alittle temperamental but we weren't there to watch tv. There is a grocery store about a block and a half down that we were able to get basics for the week. Overall, great for the price and location. Great dealing with the owner, answered all of our questions.

Perfect Location and Great for Kids

Wonderful apartment on the 1st floor so no need to lug heavy luggage up and down stairs. Also the kids beds were set up in a lower level so they could be loud and not disturb neighbors which made it stress free for all of us! The location is perfect with the Colosseum literally up the street and lots of good restaurants nearby. The one surprise you might want to ask about is the extra fees were additional persons. We were a family of 4 and were surprised there were charges for 2 additional people per night. We haven't experienced that anywhere else in Rome or in Italy our last several rentals so we were surprised but the place is wonderful and we'd highly recommend it.

Incredible apartment!

We already miss our home away from home in Rome; it is a gorgeous apartment with two levels (the kids' room is down some quaint stairs) with a lovely courtyard to dine full of fragrant flowering blossoms. It was really spacious and just beautiful. The location is amazing, just a few blocks from the Colosseum and a ten second walk to several delicious restaurants. A 24 hour grocery store is just down the street. Alex is a wonderful host who was so welcoming and helpful. We locked the key in the apartment, and even though it was a holiday and she was out of town celebrating she drove all the way back to Rome to let us in, which was so nice because my kids were freaking out. You will not regret staying here!

Best place in Rome

Perfect Location for Family Adventure in Rome! This apartment was an excellent choice for our family of five, including three active boys (10, 12, and 14). The location is absolutely unbeatable - just 200 meters from the Colosseum! Being in the heart of historic Rome meant we were surrounded by authentic restaurants and could easily walk to major attractions. The property management was outstanding. Alex was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp, ensuring smooth communication throughout our stay. Special mention to Diego, the cleaning staff member, who was wonderful and helped make our stay comfortable. The apartment comfortably accommodated our family, though on our last day we ventured to Euroma2 mall - which wasn't as exciting as the historic center since it felt too Americanized. This only confirmed that we made the right choice staying in central Rome! If you're looking for an authentic Rome experience with easy access to major sites, this is the place to stay. Perfect for families wanting to immerse themselves in the real experience

Neat apartment down the road from the Colosseum

We have just spent a week in Rome living in this great apartment. There are walkable distances in every direction to anything you want to experience in the city. It’s also right next to the subway and the moment you step out the door, you see the Colosseum right down the street. The apartment in itself is clean and comes with a discreet kitchen, bathroom and living room. The feature we enjoyed the most was the lovely patio. The only downside to the apartment was the door less rooms both downstairs and to the living room. That made the nights a little more noisy than necessary. With that being said, we had an amazing time and do recommend!
