Access to the Colesseum

Excellent location, 3 minutes to the Colesseum, even close access to great restaurant and bars. If traveling with family, separate rooms are to rest and unwind.

We had a wonderful time in Rome. You could not get closer to the Coliseum if you tried. Alessandra had great tips and the restaurant she recommended was by far the best we had!

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Rome. Location was outstanding! Walking distance to the Colosseum and other sites. Easy access to metro and bus stops to get to other attractions. Plenty of delicious restaurants just meters away. Apartment was comfortable, clean and provided all basic amenities. We enjoyed the patio in the morning while drinking coffee. Alessandra was a great host, answered questions and communicated well.Only note I would make is that the second bedroom with twin beds is down a steep set of stairs, which was fine for us, but may be an issue for people with mobility issues. There is a pull out couch in the den.Thank you Alessandra!

Great location dor winter visit

first off,the location is great. close to sights,stores,and restaurants. a few snafus with checkin and the apartment, but it is not presented as a 5 star rental so those are expected. we had a very comfortable visit

Best place in Rome

Perfect Location for Family Adventure in Rome! This apartment was an excellent choice for our family of five, including three active boys (10, 12, and 14). The location is absolutely unbeatable - just 200 meters from the Colosseum! Being in the heart of historic Rome meant we were surrounded by authentic restaurants and could easily walk to major attractions. The property management was outstanding. Alex was incredibly responsive via WhatsApp, ensuring smooth communication throughout our stay. Special mention to Diego, the cleaning staff member, who was wonderful and helped make our stay comfortable. The apartment comfortably accommodated our family, though on our last day we ventured to Euroma2 mall - which wasn't as exciting as the historic center since it felt too Americanized. This only confirmed that we made the right choice staying in central Rome! If you're looking for an authentic Rome experience with easy access to major sites, this is the place to stay. Perfect for families wanting to immerse themselves in the real experience

Empfehlenswerte wohnung

Eine süße kleine Wohnung nahe dem Kolosseum. Es war alles da, was man für paar Tage Urlaub braucht, so wie in Anzeige beschrieben. Obwohl zentral gelegen, war es schön ruhig, vor allem auf der Terrasse. Problemlose Schlüsselübergabe, da vor Ort deponiert; dh. selbst wenn man sehr spät anreist kein Problem. Das einzige, womit ich nicht gerechnet habe, waren die SEHR dicken Mauern, die es in der Wohnung sehr kühl machten (Wir waren im Oktober dort). Kommunikation mit Vermieterin 1a

The property was lovely and the location is excellent. Alex was really helpful, greeted us when we arrived and gave us some recommendations of places to visit and eat. She also helped with arranging a taxi back to the airport which was really kind. There were plenty of nice restaurants nearby and a shop just a few minutes walk away. The apartment has everything you need to enjoy your stay. It could be quite noisy at night sometimes as you could hear the noise from the other apartments around you as the walls were very thin, but this was a minor issue.

Super location, great host!

We really enjoyed our stay at the colosseum garden! The location is impeccable - walk out the front door, look left and there's the coliseum! Walk to the right and at the end of the block is San Clemente. Across the street are great restaurants, as well. I lived in Italy for 2 years and speak Italian, and this place was a great place to stay! The hostess, Alessandra, was also great. She was communicative prior to our arrival and even one night while there when I thought I was locked out. She was a pleasure to work with!

Our family was very happy with our stay here while in Rome. Alex met us at the beginning and end of our stay, and offered lots of advice to help us during our time here. Would definitely recommend🙂

Perfect Location and Great for Kids

Wonderful apartment on the 1st floor so no need to lug heavy luggage up and down stairs. Also the kids beds were set up in a lower level so they could be loud and not disturb neighbors which made it stress free for all of us! The location is perfect with the Colosseum literally up the street and lots of good restaurants nearby. The one surprise you might want to ask about is the extra fees were additional persons. We were a family of 4 and were surprised there were charges for 2 additional people per night. We haven't experienced that anywhere else in Rome or in Italy our last several rentals so we were surprised but the place is wonderful and we'd highly recommend it.

Very cute and comfortable

This place was cute. clean and comfortable! The location was great and restaurant surrounding suggestions were very good! Bathroom could use some better air flow but otherwise this place was perfect!

Perfect Place to Begin

We are so grateful and happy with our stay at the Colosseum Garden. It was the perfect place to start our family's Italy adventure. Our host arranged airport transport and greeted us at the apartment upon arrival, even making us a cup of coffee and making wonderful suggestions for places to eat and things to see. The apartment turned out to be in what I look back as my favorite part of Rome, fa little off the beaten path so quieter, and filled with delicious cafes and a nearby grocery, as well as the most incredible Basilica of St Clement. The beds were comfortable, wifi worked great and the apartment was filled with such old incredible character. If I ever am so lucky as to go back to Rome, I would definitely stay here again!! Grazie!!!

Amazing Location

Wonderful location

Alessandra was very helpful both before the trip and during our initial days. The property is very well located and we enjoyed her nearby restaurant recommendations. Communication with her was easy. We very much appreciated our stay in central Rome.

Great spot

Excellent location, charming flat, superb communication with host. Not sure if I misunderstood the listing but I had thought based on pics that there were three bedrooms in addition to a living room, but the living room is the third bedroom with just a pull out couch.

Great location and felt safe

Overall this was a great location with a wide variety of options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Comfortable and quiet stay for my family with 3 teenage boys. Would highly recommend to friends and family to stay there.

Great place to stay

We were in a neighborhood convenient to buses to get around Rome, and with good restaurants, a small supermarket a few blocks away, and a fruit stand nearby. It's near the Coliseum, which is a very popular place for tourists, but our neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. It was near many sites that we wanted to see, so we did a lot of walking, which is our favorite way to see a city. The apartment was spacious and comfortable with a nice kitchen and a lovely garden just outside. The beds were comfortable, and everything seemed very clean. It was really nice having a tub to soothe ourselves after all our walking everyday. The weather got surprisingly warm while we were there in early April, but the house stayed comfortable even in the heat outside. There was also efficient heating and cooling if we needed it. It was quiet and comfortable, and we're glad we chose it, would do it again the next time we visit Rome. Maria Alesandra was very nice and helpful. I realized a bit too late that we should have set up What's App before we arrived to make communication quick and easy, but it all worked out well.
