Wonderful Sicilian Holiday

We spent 8 nights in this wonderful spacious, well equipped and well located villa I would highly recommend to anybody who would like to stay in this fantastic family suited venue!!!

Relaxing stay in

The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos! Our group of friends had a relaxing getaway, enjoying the pool, ping pong table and stunning view.A fridge full of food and drinks and a well stocked kitchen were also supplied, which was much appreciated. The host provided great local recommendations and was very accommodating and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Stay

We had an amazing time at the villa, the views are simply breathtaking and the welcome pack so kindly left for us was amazing, with a very generous range of local foods, as well as alcoholic and soft drinks. It was a really nice touch. The villa is amazing with everything you could need provided. Marco was also always on hand and very responsive to any questions we had. The drive is very steep but you get used to it after a couple of times. All in all, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend you to stay there too!

Bellissimo

We stayed at the villa in late October and had a wonderful week. The villa was beautiful with the most amazing view and it was really generously stocked with everything we could possibly need, which made our stay so much easier. You can’t really walk anywhere, so either taxis or a hire car needed. Word of warning it is a rather steep drive and not for the feint hearted to drive a Mercedes Vito up and down as we had to. The beach at Cefalu is great and many fantastic restaurants as recommended by Marco. Sarreta was very helpful setting by us in and answering any questions, all in all a great time and great villa.

Fabulous!

This was a marvelous villa. There were 8 of us (2 families with teenage children) who stayed for 8 nights and we loved the pool especially. The house was extremely comfortable with excellent air conditioning, and the outside terraces and furniture inside and out were all perfect. The numerous extras Marco provided helped to make our holiday: - Bowls of lovely fruit and cakes and other bits left for our arrival gave us such a nice greeting, and also meant we didn't need to rush out to the shops on our first night - The kitchen essentials such as oil, pasta, cereal, garlic etc were numerous and very welcome - A well equipped kitchen with plentiful cutlery, crockery, pans, knives and even a blender - Great Table Tennis, BBQ, and laundry facilities - And the books and games and reading material were great and well used Marco provided very good information and we ate in most of the restaurants he recommended. I would definitely recommend this villa

Fantastic sea view villa, large swimming pool, packed with food and drinks, great service of owner!

We rented this large villa with swimming pool and magnificent sea view from 10 to 20 September 2017 from Marco, the owner. We had a great time with three adult couples. The house was packed with all the food and drinks, including toiletries, you can think of. This is a service we never experienced before (and we rented houses many times), and we really appreciated it. The villa is equiped with BBQ, table tennis, dart and swimming pool stuff. It has convenient silent airconditioning in the bedroom. As said in other reviews, the place exceeds expectations. Is there a reason not to give the full five stars? Just one: we would expect separate toilets, but they are in the bathrooms. If you are with several couples, this is sometimes a burden. But all in all: highly recommended!

Geweldige villa net boven de zee

Prachtige villa, groot zwembad en schitterend uitzicht. Wij hadden een fantastische tijd met het hele gezin, iedere dag een ander visje op de bbq, en samen de omgeving verkend inclusief het achterland van het wonderschone Sicilië. Blijf vooral niet op het strand van het drukke Cefalu, maar probeer de wilde stranden langs de schilderachtige kustweg richting Messina. Dank je wel, Marco en Sara voor de geweldige ontvangst.

Firstly we would like to say that Sicily is a beautiful part of Italy and especially Cefalu. The Weather, Sea, Beaches, Restaurants, Churches and Especially the people are absolutely fantastic. I have been to Sicily 3 times and will again! Marco Galluzzo owner of the Villa was extremely helpful and professional throughout and answered all of our questions and responded to messages very promptly and was always understanding. He was a pleasure to deal with. Check in was a bit rushed for us as we were late out of the airport and then with road works upon us meant we got to the meeting point of the villa rep late. We would have ideally liked to have had a longer check inn as were tired and couldn't absorb all the information in a short/rushed period of time. The Villa Entrance is through 2 gates 1 at the bottom of the hill and 1 at the top of the hill. This hill is extremely steep and you will need a more powerful car and be used to steep hills. Make sure you get everyone out of the car before going through the second entrance door in case the weight of the car at the bottom hits the bar on the gate floor in to the villa compound so you don't damage it. If you wish to go out by taxi opposed to driving this can be done by walking down the hill to the main entrance where the taxi driver will wait for you. This hill is steep and not everyone maybe able to do it. When we wanted to go out without driving, we used a licensed taxi driver called Giuseppe Napoli & his mobile number +39 333 2086789 and you can use what's app messenger to book him. He was really reliable and friendly. You can also call the taxi company we found him through which is Urban Taxi 007 Cefalu +39 338 3640353. The villa itself was absolutely beautiful, spacious and the sea views are amazing. Great place to stay. We felt very relaxed and at home. The swimming pool was also lovely and in all we were very happy. We were also grateful for the amount of food and drink and other cooking items left for us to use. It's really helpful when you just get there. and don't want to rush out shopping. All in all very happy with the villa and the holiday and look forward to the next one! Thanks Matt.

Very, very nice villa, beautiful view and excellent service

My family and I had a very nice stay in this georgious villa. Marco and his staff where all very helpfull and everything was just perfect. We would like very much to return, and will give our best recommendations.

And at your feet, the sea...

Did you use to be happy with a triangle of sea, in the distance ? Now imagine a 180° direct view on the sea, over four levels of huge terraces, no neighbors in sight... bend over the white balustrade and feel like you were on a cruise ship... and if you are hungry, get back to the inside, enjoy the volume of the living room and the Sicilian specialties generously provided by the owner - it took us only a few minutes to eat up the almond torrone ; Marco was very helpful and caring all along our stay. Apart from Cefalu, Palermo and Monreale, and their stunning Normand-Byzantine mosaics, we recommend a tour in Bagheria, for the very special ambience of Villa Palagonia and the delicious cuisine of I Pupi.

Spectacular

The photos of this marvelous villa on the Sicilian coast don't do it justice. The place far exceeded my expectations. It's bigger than it looks, just beautiful and first class touches throughout. Outstanding Sicilian hospitality as well, the house was well stocked with treats, wine and more. The view is outstanding. It's easy to get to town and to nearly beaches. Well situated for excursions to Palermo, Castelbouno (enjoy a great meal at Giardino di Venere) and more. Make sure you rent a car that can get up the steep driveway. The pool is just gorgeous and well maintained. To swim there while overlooking the Mediterranean, . . . what more could you ask for? Internet and TV were provided as well (Sky, excellent for watching soccer, er, "football"). The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. For Americans like us, who enjoy air conditioning and showers, this house takes good care of our needs. Marco and his staff were very accommodating and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Villa with amazing views!

We had a fantastic holiday at this Villa. Plenty of space inside and out and excellent facilities. So impressed with the level of detail and the correspondence pre, during and post holiday. Marco and his team were so helpful from start to finish. Amazing welcome package of food and drink, the Villa was also fully stocked with toiletries, towels, tea bags and so much more. Loved Cefalu its a beautiful town with a great beach and so much character and charm. (less than 5 min drive) We have 2 young boys who loved the swing seat (and the pool!) and we enjoyed many barbecues on the terrace. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful

Die ideale Unterkunft in Cefalu, ist ein wenig ausserhalb, deshalb Auto notwendig, ansonsten super. Marco hat sich um alle Belange bestens gekümmert, Ansprechpartner Claudio und Sara vor Ort immer parat und immer hilfsbereit. Unglaubliches Willkommes Paket mit Dolce, Wein , Cafe , Frühstück etc, so in dieser Form noch nie erlebt und wir waren schon in vielen Häusern. Sizilianische Gastfreundschaft pur Fritz + 3

Great villa

We were 2 families with 4 teanagers. The house is extremely well appointed: there is everything you need in the kitchen and bathroom. We arrived on sunday and could still enjoy a nice breakfast with the provided bread, jam, eggs, butter etc. not to forget the fruits basket and sicilian pastry. The view from the pool as from the different terraces is astonished. Cefalu is just a few minutes away and has a lot of shops and a beautiful beach which was at this time of the year almost empty. We had a great time cooking all together in the open kitchen. We would definitely recommend it and come back again!

Fantastic villa with superb sea view.

We have booked this villa for 1 week in July 2014. Our party counted 7 persons. The villa was situated just outside the beautiful town of Cefalu, at a very quiet and protected place, with magnificent sea view, at only 5 walking minutes from the sea. The villa had all necessary equipment, and even much more we could have hoped for. The garden was well maintained, and the lovely swimming pool at the top level of the premises, gave us the best ever view over the sea. The large living room and kitchen were very well equipped. The owner did welcome us with fresh fruits and typical Sicilian pastry. We were personally welcomed by the owners staff, amongst the owner's father, who made us feel at home instantly. There were 4 spacious bedrooms spreaded over the two living levels, 2 bathrooms, and even a great and very practical outside shower. The terraces were big sized, and equipped with different tables and chairs, a ping pong table, and many toys and swimming equipment for children. We enjoyed breakfast, diner and souper always outside on the beautiful main terrace. Practically situated near the living room and kitchen, with at the same time beautiful sea view. Nice BBQ was available and the owner even did provide us with charcoal. In the kitchen there was wine, beer, and some food at our availability. The owner gave us some advise on things to visit and suggested some restaurants in the town of Cefalu. We tried every restaurant he suggested to us, and enjoyed every single one of them. In Cefalu there are more than sufficient stores and shops to buy food and beverage and other stuff you might need. For your general groceries, I recommend super market Decco, where you can buy all sorts of food and beverage, amongst nice fresh fish and meat. There was a warm housely feeling in this villa, where it was clear to us that this house was much more than just a holiday villa. One could clearly feel the presence of the owner who for sure lives here himself quite some time during the year. We had a marvelous really good time in this villa, and enjoyed every minute of our stay. We will be back for sure somewhere in the future !

Beautiful Sicilian villa, fantastic views

We spent 4 days in heaven. Wonderful villa, many terrasses all with beautifuls views over the ocean. We were welcomed in the most fantastic way, Wine, fruit, cakes, all delicious. We had at small problem with a parkingticket, we received fine help from the owner. Our only, very small complaint, please get a dishwasher! we will be back, and will sure recommend the villa to others.

Vista magnifica

Abbiamo goduto del soggiorno in una casa stupenda con una Vista sul mare fantasica :) L'accoglienza è stata davvero cordialissima, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Proprio un bel posto.
