Simply fantastic

Everything was just perfect, we really enjoyed our holiday. We were allowed to stay longer in the house because our flight was very late. Many thanks again to Vassili, we would love to come back.

Perfect house and location.

The house has a Greek charm and is very well maintained. It felt as though you were stepping into a family house. The location right on the beach cannot be rivalled and it is certainly the best house on the beach. The gardens provided privacy and the tranquility we were hoping for, and the accessibility to the beach and the sea. Amazing!

Juwel in Faliraki Bay

Wir kommen schon viele Jahre nach Rhodos, immer im selben Hotel mit festen Essenszeiten, Kleiderordnung und Menschen, die man eigentlich nicht um sich haben möchte. Wir wollten dieses Mal unser eigenes kleines Reich, Privatsphäre, ungestört und die Freiheit, tun und lassen zu können was wir wollen. Ich bin so unfassbar glücklich und dankbar, dass wir diese traumhaft schöne Villa in Faliraki buchen konnten. Ein unbeschreibliches Juwel mitten im Grünen und doch direkt am flachabfallenden Sandstrand. Wir fühlten uns dort so wohl und schnell wie zuhause, ausgestattet mit wirklich allem was man braucht, vielleicht nicht immer das Modernste, aber immer zweckmäßig und mehr als ausreichend. Oben 3 geräumige Gästezimmer und 2 Bäder, unten Küche, Gäste-WC und großes Wohnzimmer mit 2 Schlafsofas. Absolutes Highlight ist definitiv der Garten. Morgens um 06:00 auf der Terrasse, ungestört, die Sonne aufsteigend aus der meist spiegelglatten See, absolute Ruhe ....unbezahlbar und unbeschreiblich. Toll ist auch die Außendusche, wenn man aus dem Wasser kommt. Buchung, check in, Kontakt mit dem Eigentümer (wenn auch weit weg) und seinem Verwalter ohne Komplikationen und prompt. Wir können diese Villa uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Der Abschied viel uns sehr schwer. Wir haben für nächstes Jahr wieder reserviert. Für uns gibt es auf Rhodos kein schöneres Plätzchen. Geräumige Villa in traumhafter Lage

Das große Grundstück liegt im etwas ruhigerem Teil von Faliraki direkt am Strand, ist aber durch Hecken weitestgehend vor allzu neugierigen Blicken der Strandgänger geschützt, sodass die Privatsphäre erhalten bleibt. Sehr angenehm auch die schönen Tavernen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft. Die Einrichtung des Hauses ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber zweckmäßig. Einzig mit der Sauberkeit waren wir nicht ganz zufrieden.

wirklich tolles Haus am Strand

Wir haben ein Haus mit genug Platz für mehrere Erwachsene, mit Schatten und Strandzugang gesucht - diese ältere, elegante Villa war perfekt für uns! Von der Terrasse aus kann man über die Hecke das Meer sehen: traumhaft! Von zwei Schlafzimmern aus kann man den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer sehen. Der Besitzer hat einiges investiert in tolle neue Fenster und die Wege ums Haus und im Garten sind mit schönen Steinfliesen erneuert worden. Die drei Schlafzimmer im 1. Stock sind wirklich klasse: gute Betten, sehr schöne Einrichtung, die Klimaanlagen funktionieren. Die beiden Bäder sind einfach, aber gepflegt. Die Toilettensitze könnten mal erneuert werden, aber noch okay. Auch auf dem Sofa im ebenfalls klimatisierten Wohnzimmer konnte man richtig gut schlafen. In der Toilette im Erdgeschoss gibt es eine Toploader-Waschmaschine. Die Terrasse ist so schön und komfortabel, wir wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Bei Hitze einfach kurz ins Meer, dann unter die Gartendusche und wieder auf die Liegen im Baumschatten vor der Terrasse, einfach fabelhaft! Am öffentliche Strand vor der Terrasse könnte man auch Sonnenliegen mit Sonnenschirm mieten, haben wir nicht gemacht. Das Musikprogramm der etwas weiter nördlich gelegenen großen Hotels hat man nachts gehört, aber es war nicht problematisch. Die Küche fanden wir schrecklich unpraktisch - sobald mehr als eine Person dort kochen/aufräumen etc. wollte, wurde es sehr nervig. Die Geschirr- und Kochutensilien-Ausrüstung ist umfangreich, eher älter aber noch okay. Kühlschränke, Mikrowelle, Herd/Backofen und Spülmaschine haben einwandfrei funktioniert; ein elektrischer Wasserkocher oder ein Wasserkessel für den Gasherd (oder die elektrische Herdplatte) hat uns echt gefehlt. Mit den vorhandenen Gerätschaften kann man direkt auf dem Herd griechischen Kaffee kochen. Wir hatten für unseren mitteleuropäischen Kaffee zum Glück einen eigenen Handfilter dabei, eine Thermoskanne war vorhanden. Der Garten war das absolute Highlight! Viele Bäume, schöne Hibiskus-Büschchen und andere Pflanzen und echter Rasen - eine Augenweide, toll gepflegt. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren!

Beste Lage auf Rhodos

Das Haus liegt am südlichen Ende von Farilaki, nahe am kleinen Hafen mit ruhigen kleinen Restaurants. Das Haus mit dem Garten war die schönste Location die wir gesehen haben. Von der überdachten Terrasse mit den Rundbögen hat man einen traumhaften Blick über den Garten auf das Meer. Raus aus dem Gartentor und man steht am Sandstrand mit dem glasklaren Wasser. Im Garten findet jeder Sonne oder Schatten - und auch Schutz vor dem auch an der Ostküste oft aufflauendem Wind. In nur ca. 150 m gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt - etwa in 500 m Entfernung ist ein etwas größerer. Hier noch 50m weiter ist das Restaurant Manolis mit guter Küche und professionellem Service. Nur ca. 70m am Strand Richtung Hafen ist das Restaurant Maria mit gutem und preiswertem Essen - auch zum take-away. Das Haus ist funktional eingerichtet, die Möbel und die beiden Bäder sind ok, könnten aber eine Erneuerung vertragen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer und seinem Ansprechpartner vor Ort war sehr nett mit immer sehr schnellen Antwortzeiten. Der Strand direkt vor dem Haus ist für das tägliche Schwimmen schön und ausreichend, will man etwas Abwechslung gibt es nur 10 Auto-Minuten entfernt die sehr schöne -in normalen Zeiten wohl überlaufene - Anthony-Quinn-Bucht. Auch der schöne Tsambika-Strand ist nicht weit und nach Rhodos sind es auch nur 20 Minuten. Man muss wissen das Faliraki ein Touristenort ist, wo in normalen Zeiten sehr ! viele Urlauber sind. Das spielt sich fast alles im nördlichen Teil der Stadt ab - das Haus steht im südlichen Teil der viel ruhiger ist. Ganz ruhig wird es aber in Zeiten nach Corona wohl nicht mehr sein. Wir waren im Mai 2021 dort als fast alle Anlagen und Hotels geschlossen waren. Eine Bewertung ist deshalb darüber nicht möglich. Für uns war das Haus nach jedem Ausflug wie eine Oase - jeder Morgen mit dem Frühstück auf der Terrasse ein Traum.

Traumhaus am Meer

Wir durften eine Woche in diesem Traumhaus verbringen. Im Vorfeld wurden wir von Vassili mit allen wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Besonders schön ist der große Garten und die tolle überdachte Terrasse und natürlich der Meerblick. Man geht nur ein paar Schritte durch den Garten und ist direkt am Strand. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses schöne Haus buchen.

A lovely house in a perfect location by the beach

The house is functional and spacious, in a perfect location at the beach, close to the Faliraki center and the harbor, and still quiet and private. The rooms and amenities proved to be exactly as in the description and photos. There is room enough for a large group but it was still good value for our small group of two.

Authentic Greek house on the beach

We have no hesitation in recommending this proper old family house set in lovely gardens and with 5 steps down to a narrow sandy beach. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other a shower, as well as a downstairs toilet. There is ample space in the living room downstairs and the kitchen is very well equipped. The best thing is the ample terrace and gardens where you can sit and eat and sunbathe. And it is just a few steps through the gate and down to the beach. The only bad thing are the mosquitoes which seem to be ubiquitous, although not the worst kind. The resort is perfect, in the sense of having a good local shop and several excellent restaurants. It is just lively enough without being too noisy (we did go in October). We couldn’t recommend Vassili‘s house highly enough and we hope to go back next year.

Una Villa fantastico

This villa is in a very good location next to the sea and the garden is wonderful! We missed nothing and enjoyed our holidays so much. The communication with Vassili was great, he take care about everything. The service, with Jiannis to rent a car, was also really good !!! I recommend this villa for wonderful holidays and we will come back. Thank you Vassili for the hospitality!

Superb week at Rhodes!

We had great expectations after seeing the pictures of the villa and it's surroundings. And we must say that what we were gladly surprised that it was even better in real life! First of we got a very good welcome from Nick that is the care taker of the house. He gave us a quick tour of the house and gave us the keys. Then there is the location only 15 m from the beach. A very nice garden where the kids could play around in and a perfect patio with shade all day, were you could have your meals or just enjoy the view. We where 2 adults and 3 kids and we really felt that we had all the space we needed. Large bedrooms with large beds and also air conditioning in all rooms was very good. Kitchen and everything else was well equipped and it worked really good to cook your food there. A few times we went out for some take away food and we can recommend a place called Maria. Super markets and restaurants was easy to find around there. We felt very welcome there and everything was top notch. We will hopefully go back next year!

La maison ideale

Jolie maison fonctionnelle et spacieuse entourée d'un magnifique jardin qui assure une grande intimité. La maison donne directement sur la plage et on trouve tout à proximité; commerces, restos, navettes, etc. Elle est très bien située et facile d'accès. Idéale pour des vacances a la fois actives et reposantes. Nous y avons séjourné trois semaines et l'avons quittée à regret.

Lovely Home for a Family Holiday

With 3 seniors (with limited mobility) and a preschooler on board, it wasn't exactly an easy task to find a holiday home suitable for everyone. Luckily, we found property and it was pretty close to perfect for our family vacation. The villa is spacious, inside and out. Surrounded by a wide & well maintained lush green garden, that gave us privacy from neighbours. We spent countless hours lounging in the beautifully pebbled patio, listening to the wind blowing through the trees and the gentle lapping of waves just meters outside. The view from the bedroom windows and the patio is stunning to say the least. Waking up to birdsongs, watching beautiful Aegean Sea sunrises in your backyard every morning, is an experience money can't buy! To our pleasant surprise, despite being close to the busy tourist village of Faliraki, the villa's "tucked away" location and large property still gave us enough privacy and a feeling of far-from-it-all, at the same time, being easily accessible to local amenities, e.g. Supermarkets, Tavernas, Post Offices, Bakery & Butcher's Shop etc. We even found a horticulture centre nearby (with a bit of help for the very kind gardener) and picked up little bougainvillea plants and a little olive tree to take home. It was the best way to experience local life & culture of a country that is not your own. Rhodes is an easy & a great island to drive around with a car and explore. We often drive to Rhodes City (less than 20minutes away), to the beautiful town of Lindos, Filerimos Hill and a few random quaint Greek villages. Among local tavernas, we recommend Desert Rose on the main road in Faliraki for all sorts of authentic Greek cuisine and local shrimp fries at Restaurant Maria at the Faliraki Marina. All in all, the whole family had a wonderful time. Our little one seriously didn't want to come back! 😊

Wonderful private house for families

This house is located directly at the beach with private access directly to the sea. It has a large garden with private shower and wonderful terrace. Families are welcomed, we had two kids (1 and 2 yrs) traveling with us and could use the two baby beds and baby chairs. Wifi was working flawlessly. Air conditioning in every room and window shades made the nights very comfortable. Sadly, the noise from distant hotels reached over the bay, so you will likely hear music (though rather quite due to the distance) in the evening well into the night. Definately it is one of the best houses in Faliraki and is a good starting place for visits to Rhodes town, Lindos and many other mayor sights. The house owner is very responsive and friendly. Already prior to the holiday he checked back for any needs and arranged things accordingly. There always was somebody near to help, e.g. when the gas bottle needed to be replaced. Property was clean, well maintained (minor things - we were the first in the season so a lamp and minor things needed fiixing - were fixed immediately, surprisingly fast and friendly). Beautiful private house far away from large hotels but only 100m from supermarket and 0m from the beach - I can certainly recommend this property.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus direkt am Strand

Die Angaben im Online-Inserat haben alle gestimmt, die Villa ist genau so, wie auf den Bildern gezeigt und wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Alles war sauber und gepflegt, die Lage ist einfach perfekt. Problemloser Kontakt zum Vermieter und nette Betreuung vor Ort. Wir werden das Ferienhaus auf alle Fälle unseren Freunden und Bekannten weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank :-))) Besuchte Restaurants: Taverna Maria, Taverna Kabos Cavos, Manolis Taverna - alle drei waren super.

Great Family House in Faliraki, Rhodos

We have been to several houses on Rhodos in the past, but this was truely the best one. We are a family with two small children and for them this house was paradise, especially the beautyfull garden and the beach so close by made this vacation unforgettable. Also very handy was that the mini supermarket was only a 1 minute walk away, and if you are looking for a good restaurant we can recommend Maria tavern only 3 minutes.

Très très agréable villa ...

Très très agréable villa en bordure de mer avec un jardin boisé et fleuri qui permet de garder une certaine intimité vis à vis des autres touristes sur la plage! Les photos correspondent parfaitement à la réalité. La maison comporte tout l'équipement nécessaire et la situation est idéale. Nous la recommandons!

The villa is the most bea...

The villa is the most beautiful villa in Faliraki, perfectly placed, directly on the beach. It has a wonderful garden and a beautiful terries. There's no need to take sunbeds on the beach, one can lay in full privacy in the garden and take a swim in the sea (15m away)..The villa provides everything necessary for a great holiday!
