For tournament or leisure fishing, golfing, swim beaches, water sports, or hiking trails, Waconda Lake and the Lakeside Park and Golf Course at the Glen Elder State Park is a short 8 mile drive. Our forth generation farmhouse was recently renovated by adding a new roof, siding, central air, hot water heater, and a gas stove, but kept the original trim work, wood flooring, and charm. After an active day, unwind with comfortable décor and beautiful sunset views, or enjoy the night sky while cooking s'mores in the outdoor fire pit. As you nestle into your comfortable bed, your hunting dogs will also sleep well on the enclosed back sun porch. Come stay with us, cook or grill your own meals, and enjoy life in the country. You only have to walk a few feet from the back porch and you are in the hunting fields. We have three different fields you can set up your blinds and decoys for ducks and geese.1000's of geese fly over the farm every season. Successful hunts for quail, pheasant, and turkey bring repeat business back year after year.
