About Carlene Moes
Michael and Carlene are long term Montana residents who have chosen to live in this wonderful area. We are avid outdoor enthusiasts with cosmopolitan tastes which is reflected in our home that we would like to share with you.
Carlene Moes purchased this Studio in 1994
Why Carlene Moes chose Whitefish
Our house is located on 20 acres with mature landscaping, beautiful gardens, barn, windmill, ponds and a fountain. House boasts brand new decks and sidewalks with beautiful pastoral views of mountains out our windows. We love having the best of both worlds with living in a country setting, yet minutes from downtown Whitefish, wonderful restaurants, theatre, Farmers Market and all the amenities we enjoy.

Loved the location. Very comfortable studio with everything we needed and more!
I would recommend to anyone who is going to Glacier National Park. Perfect place!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay and felt comfortable at our place. I know it was unseasonably hot and smoky due to the fires, so I hope you come back and visit us when there are no fires. Regards, Carlene and Michael
Loved the location and accommodations, great kitchen
Found pull out couch air mattress fill cap broken, and pump didn't work to fill mattress. Also, through our 2 day stay, the wifi was extremely slow, to the point where I couldn't load maps or webpages. Aside from these two things, it was a great experience and would definitely stay at this house again, and recommend it to all
Thank you for bringing the issue of the mattress to our attention. I apologize for the inconvenience because it is fairly new and the last guest did not mention anything when they left. I did not realize you needed the extra bed or I would have checked - I just assumed it was okay. We did purchase a replacement valve so it is good as new now. Our internet with CenturyLink does get pretty slow when we have heavy inclement weather which we did the weekend you stayed. However, I have been wanting to switch to Charter, so this was a good reason to make the change.
I am glad you enjoyed your stay overall and wish you all the best in the coming year.
In the country but close to town. Perfect.
Clean very comfortable lovely spot just on outskirts of Whitefish. Peaceful. The host provided so many things even a bottle of wine. Highly recommend this place.
We enjoyed having you as guests & I am so glad the smoke cleared up enough for your hike. The park has closed West Glacier & they are evacuating residents as the fire is about 3 miles away. All the schools in the valley are closed until next Tuesday. Pray for rain. Safe travels back home & visit us again anytime.
Great location to Glacier National Park and 5 minutes from Whitefish. Wonderful town! Super clean place, beautiful property, and sweet owners! Loved showing our baby your animals!
We were so pleased that you enjoyed your stay and had a wonderful visit despite all the fires and smoke this year. It was great having you as our guest.

We enjoyed our stay at Windmill Creek. A nice quiet location out of town.
Beautiful, peaceful, comfortable home to stay while exploring Whitefish and area.
Clean, serene, comfortable studio to stay. Great hosts that accommodated all our needs. Convenient location to town. Hope to return again!
