Hi Scott, I'm surprised by your comment, as I've never had any negative comments about the house as a whole, nor about the layout of the living room. As far as the sofa is concerned, it's fairly recent, dating from 2 years ago. We chose an angled model precisely so that we could lie down on it, but also so that we could open it up, as it is a sofa-bed, which is much appreciated by our guests. As far as the two white tables are concerned, they are coffee tables, not children's tables, and we chose 2 small ones so that they could be moved around easily, depending on the needs of the guests. As we stayed in this house for the holidays ourselves, I can guarantee that we never spilt a drink. The table, clearly intended for children, is pink and situated next to the wall with 2 small chairs. As far as the candelabra is concerned, each tenant is free to change its location, as it is not usually in this position. As for the batteries, the cleaning staff have left them there in case they need to change the batteries in the TV remote control next to the fireplace. As the house is maintained by a cleaning company and managed by a local agency, I find your comments a little harsh and unjustified. I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay and wish you all the best for the summer.
