Thank you again for providing exactly what we were looking for on our

The home was perfect and gave a cabin type feeling that we loved.

Again there were a few things that could use some fixing, but past that was

I definitely recommend a new coffee pot, though we did run vinegar thru to

work a little better for the next group.

Again though those are small compared to the experience we received, we

just like to help as much as possible and we look forward to staying again

and will definitely recommend to our friends and families.

Thank you so much again.

Have a great day

Our home is just that, a home a place we come back and forth from and enjoy ourselves, where our family and friends stay because it's home away from home. Not fancy, but Montana isn't about fancy it is simple and comfortable and ready for your Montana adventure. Enjoy the views at night off the back deck. Listen to the birds and watch the deer run through the yard. Our family fav is a little badminton in the front yard and followed up by a camp fire and smores. Montana Dawn is home~

Perfect Location Comfortable Home

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful trip to Columbia Falls last week! The house accommodated eight of us comfortably...mostly. Low capacity water heater made showering after being on the dusty trails all day a little challenging but it thankfully recovered quickly and we learned to adapt. The kitchen is well-stocked with the right tools. Awesome washer and dryer...again, important after being on the dusty trails. The home was warm, welcoming and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again! The location is amazing. We were halfway between Whitefish and Glacier National Park. Owner was very sweet and welcoming. I would highly recommend this home for a vacation!

Clean 4-bedroom located 30 minutes from West Glacier entrance.

  • 3 of 5

The best things about the house were cleanliness, bunk beds in basement, # of bedrooms, open floor plan, big kitchen table, washer/dryer and Netflix. Improvements are needed for most all the windows (e.g. windows did not open, another window did not close from inside house so had to close from the outside), ceiling light in master bedroom did not work, we had to stand on beds to turn in ceiling fans, and overall limited lighting throughout house.

Quick sleep

  • 3 of 5

We got to Montana Dawn late night and left early in the morning so we didn’t have time to really enjoy your cute home. While my bed was comfortable, the sheets were not. They had “pills” all over them. An easy thing to fix. My other family members said their beds were comfortable. Also, there isn’t much you can do about the train that passes by several times in the night. Everyone was pleasantly surprised to have coffee and tea available in the morning. Thank you for sharing your home.

Owner's Response: Jan, thanks for your review. It sounds like you had a great stay. You would be correct, we don't have a direct link with BNSF railway to ask them to be quiter. Although, it's one of our favorite parts of home, probably because we grew up next to the railway all of our lives. We certainly will take note of the sheets right away. Thanks so very much for staying and hope you come back again. It was a pleasure!

Best Place to Stay for a Family!

  • 5 of 5

Our family of 7 stayed here while we visited Glacier National Park, and I can't imagine a better place to stay. We had plenty of room. Our younger kids (ages 4 to 11) enjoyed the room downstairs with their own tv, while my 13 year old loved having a room to his own on the next level. We loved the classic Nintendo, which brought back so many memories for my husband. It was fun to watch him show our kids how to play Punch-Out!

The drive to Glacier National Park wasn't bad at all. However, it was pretty crowded when we visited (end of July), and we finally realized that a lot of people left the park around 4:30pm. We would visit all the popular spots in the evening since it wouldn't get dark until late! One day before visiting the park, we went to the Amazing Fun Center nearby in Coram and went through the huge maze- it was so much fun! The mini golf course was great, too.

We made some great family memories at Montana Dawn. Our children were missing the house by that evening! Thanks for sharing your home with us, Jennelle!

Really enjoyable time

  • 5 of 5

Loved the small town feel, outdoor firepit was fun, everything worked, got a little stuffy at night but too tired to care, so much to do. We really enjoyed our stay.

Montana Dawn, a great place to stay

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at Montana Dawn was great. Everything we needed was available and the Cassidy family was responsive and very accommodating to some unplanned requests. The location is perfect for Glacier National Park, Flatehead Lake and a lot of other interesting places to make day visits. Excellent hiking, swimming, kayaking and relaxing.

Thanks to the Cassidy family for letting us use their home. We had a great time ...
