Dream location
We booked the house because it was central for several day trips we wanted to take in Provence, but we fell in love with Six-Fours and were thrilled to be easy walking distance to the beach, cafes, boulangerie, and very close to the bike path leading to the port, Ile du Gaou, La Foret de Janas, and Coudou Parc.
The house itself was perfect for our family of five and our young kids played in the pool at every opportunity and were very sad to leave it. We especially loved the outdoor spaces and spent hours on the shaded deck each day and had our meals (often cooked on the gas griddle) on the back patio. The photos don’t do the space justice. The landscaping is so pretty that I did several paintings of it en plein air.
We hadn’t planned to spend so much time in Six-Fours or the house, but both were so lovely that we decided to forego some trips to busier tourist villages so we could relax and enjoy the local area. Our family especially loved Mont Salva, Venus du Gaou, Coudou Parc, and the night and weekly markets in Sanary-sur-Mer.
David was a wonderful host and offered fantastic recommendations and promptly answered questions about the area throughout our stay.
This was the best family holiday we’ve ever had and we hope to be back very soon!
