About Jay Scott
I was raised in Montana and attended Montana State University in Bozeman. My family, friends and I have been skiing or vacationing in Big Sky almost every year since it opened. Although I love Montana my work has taken me to California so I cherish the 6-8 weeks per year I spend in Big Sky.
Jay Scott purchased this Condo in 2013
Why Jay Scott chose Big Sky Meadow Village
I have always preferred renting in the Meadow over the Mountain Village since it is less congested, is more reasonably priced for the space, has better access to more amenities, has so much more to do in the off ski months and may be more comfortable to some with an elevation of just over 6,500 feet above sea level. I watched this complex being built and have dreamed of owning one of the units. Luckily the recession provided me that opportunity.
What makes this Condo unique
We offer a unique Western Lodge feel. Most furniture and fixtures are made in North America and the majority purchase from local craftsmen with the exception of a few pieces from Europe and Mexico. Our wall hangings and memorabilia come from local artists, photographers or have been handed down from previous generations of Buffalo, Elk and Cattle ranchers. Although it may appear remote on a map, we are very centrally located to the following which may be of interest during your stay: Bozeman with many restaurants, entertainment and shopping. West Yellowstone with access to Yellowstone National Park, tours and snowmobiling. Two world class fly fishing streams, the Gallatin and Madison which are also great for white water rafting. Lewis and Clark Caverns and many more attractions. And of course the Biggest and Best Skiing in America!

Beautiful 3 Level Condo, Ideally located for Meadow and Mountain Fun!
We stayed at this condo near the end of ski season in Big Sky. We usually stay on the mountain, so it had been a while since we stayed in the Meadows. It turned out to be a great choice. The condo gave us better access to great dinning options and activities in the Meadow Village. It was also a simple short ride up the hill to get our skiing in each day. We really loved the place. It has three bathrooms and three bedrooms, with the middle floor holding the kitchen, dinning and living rooms. The place is pretty new and in very good condition. It has two decks (one front, and one back). It also has a garage which was great because it keep me from having to clean off snow in the morning. The place was very comfortable and quiet. People were staying in the next door units, but we never heard them. We look forward to enjoying this place again.
Lone Mountain Ranch cross country skiing and snow shoeing trails can be accessed from just off the property but require a day pass purchase from them. Most hiking trails do not require a pass. They also offer sleigh-rides, horse back riding, cook outs and fishing guides. We have a copy of most maps displayed for your convenience. There is a climbing wall, tennis, pickle ball and beach volleyball court and a zip line near by.
