Unsatisfactory

Problems with hundreds of tiny ants invading kitchen & laundry room each night & had to deal with each morning. No instructions on how to operate very complex A/C units, dryer kept shutting off, no hot water in morning as unit was on some kind of timer system & we were not informed how it was set up. Stove was induction type with no instruction and only one pot worked with induction burner. (spent over an hour trying to figure out) Patio doors very heavy to operate requiring 2 hands to pull open & once opened you have to step on large exposed tracks, that the storm shutters ride in. Not just a minor inconvenience (major headache) Property is literally right next door to a Campground wich was not expected. View very limited because of solid fence and Pine forest in front. We had to meet at the owners office, not at property, so no introduction to property whatsoever.Just gave us keys and an address???? Left to figure everything for ourselves with NO instruction for anything (VERY FRUSTRATING). Some items were simply inexcusable such as the Trip Hazard as you come in through the front door (at the top of a flight of stairs).They have a recessed mat that leaves a raised metal edge exposed that we constantly tripped on and is just waiting for a serious accident to occur. All in all a very disappointing stay. Eric B.

Wonderful villa for family holidays

We spent a wonderful week at this villa. The pool was fantastic and the house's location just by the beach was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere without needing the car. The villa was very spacious with room for all the family. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, possibly the best we have experienced. The beds were very comfortable with good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Unfortunately, it was impossible to use the balconies and terrace on the first floor because they are so overlooked by the campsite next door at this time of year. Some creative planting or screens around the sides could resolve this issue quite easily. The single bedroom on the ground floor was not of the same quality as the other bedrooms - no air conditioning, sheets and bedding not of the same standard. It would be nice if the gate in the garden could have a secure lock so it could be used to get to and from the beach, thus avoiding having to use the road and the main entrance of the house.
