I love the water and the beach. Thus why the water is so close to the apartment and the paddle board!
Mrs. Delgado purchased this apartment in 2014
Since a kid my dad brought me to this apartment to enjoy weekends with him. I would snorkel and jump from the pier (feet first of course). Very quiet and peaceful, clear water. After years of abandonment bought it and got everything from the inside and threw it in the trash. Everything inside is new.
Next to the water. private area, few neighbors, Close to Playa Santa and Manglillo Beach. Catch some sun on the pier, hear the waves. Close to the dry forest park. Get the paddleboard and be in the water in seconds. No need to go anywhere. Close to Gilligan's island.(a mangrove island)
Très belle emplacement, bien situé pour rayonner autour et visiter. Parfait pour 2 personnes. Edgardo est très sympatique et nous donne pleins de renseignements. Manque peut-être du mobilier extérieur pour profiter de la belle température
We had a great time. Because of the property's location, we could drive to other towns, explore other beaches and hike in Bosque Seco. We are looking forward to return next year.
We stayed there with 2 adults and two kids. There was a blow up mattress so the kids didn't have to share the futon, but only one set of sheets to share between the futon and the blow up. Also, the previous guests had put their wet snorkel gear next to the blow up mattress so it was wet, but it dried quickly. There were also only 3 sets of dishes so somebody was always eating on something odd, but there are worse things than spaghetti in a bowl. There were tons of towels so that was really convenient. There were small things missing like a toilet paper holder, a proper towel rack, and a doorknob (nobody could close the front door behind themselves without using the key in the deadbolt). A few drawers (maybe the kind that go under the bed) and tables would have been really nice also. None were in the photos, but these are things you don't think about until you are wondering where to set your stuff.
The owner was easy to work with and the kids had a great time on the SUP.
Although the condo was fine Playa Santa seems like it has seen better days. There was one night when not a single restaurant was open for dinner. there are several boarded up buildings. The beach was nice, but strewn with trash. I wouldn't stay in Playa Santa again, but if I had to I'd consider staying here.
The apt is very clean, and the complex is very quiet. The amenities, full kitchen , ac, tv were appreciated. Beach and food near. This was the second time we rent the apt this year and will return.
I had an absolute phenomial experiance. The local people are great, everyone seems to have the ability to help one another. This is a great attribute to have in the area where the vacationer is staying. The beaches are with 5 minutes, plus Gilgans island is 20 minutes away. It's a mangrove island shows the nature of the island in depth. I advise everyone to stay in this part of the island.
Beautiful location with nearby beach. We appreciated the scenery and the peace and quiet of the surroundings.. May be a bit isolated for some. A few suggested amenities would make the place more comfortable and appealing:: a small microwave to warm up food and liquids, a place to hang clothing, a small night table in the bedroom, kitchen knives (besides the steak knives). A stackable washer-dryer would be ideal but probably not feasible given the limited space. Everything was as described.
We had a great stay. The rest of the building was pretty much empty. If it were full, I guess it could get busy and loud. We were there at a quiet time I guess. It's a bit far away from supplies etc, but it's not a bad drive. Easy walk to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed except a larger knife. We made do with the steak knives that were there. All in all we had a very pleasant stay! Thank you!
