There is an equestrian centre for horseback riding in the the Alpilles, located 600 m way from the apartment building.
The apartment building is 10 min away by foot from many hiking walks or by bicycle, offered from the apartment building or close to it.
Servannes Golf Club is located 6 km away in the town of Mouries, as well as the cliff climbing.
The typical villages of Maussane-les-Apilles, Fontvieille, Mouries and Baux-de-Provence have many oil mills producing worldwide known olive oil.
The sea shore and Camargue are just 1 hour away from our apartment building by the motorway.

Loved our time in Paradou. The property was everything we hoped for. Clean, quiet, and the staff at the property was very response. We will for sure return.

Comfortable rental in the french countryside

Nathalie was very welcoming during check-in and check-out and she had many recommendations for activities, attractions, etc. The location of the property is ideal for experiencing Roman history and for enjoying the french country lifestyle. We really enjoyed our stay at Les Garrigues, the apartment was exactly as pictured, clean and well stocked with useful everyday items. The A/C was greatly appreciated although it did not cool the upstairs bedroom very well. Thankfully there was a screen on the window and we could leave it open when we were sleeping. We did a lot of cooking during our stay and a proper knife would have been helpful as well as a few basic pantry staples like salt and pepper, olive oil, vinegar, etc. It was unfortunate that the coin-operated washing machine and dryer was out of service for several days. I would stay here again and highly recommend the property.

Petit mazet agréable

Petite maison bien agencée avec piscine commune disposant de nombreux bains de soleil ce qui est très appréciable. A noter que La clim ne concerne que la pièce principale pas les chambres.

Résidence familiale à taille humaine de qualité Très bien placé . Proche de tous les sites à visiter . Au calme . Les logements sont grands, fonctionnels et équipés de climatisation ce qui est bien utile en plein été . La piscine est grande et les bains de soleils et transats nombreux . L’accueil est chaleureux et très sympathiques. Nathalie de l’accueil est au top! Je recommande chaleureusement. D’ailleurs nous retournons l’année prochaine

Kleines, aber nettes Haus für 2. Toilette sehr klein. Der Garten könnte etwas schöner sein, aber wir haben die Abende auf der kleinen Terrasse sehr genossen. Die Umgebung lud zu vielen Aktivitäten ein. Empfehlenswert!!

Ce mazet a un charme fou. Le domaine est super entretenu. Une gérance des plus agréable et qui donne de super bons conseils pour les visites de la région . Nous avons choisi un appartement 4 personnes. Tout y est prévu , nous y avons passé un séjour merveilleux .

Rustic apartment with amenities but small space

The apartment was as described, in terms of size, the number of rooms and the arrangement. There was a full set of kitchen dishes, flatware, pots and pans, but no dish detergent, paper goods. Extra towels for the pool were not provided. Apartment was quite clean, everything worked, the pool was great. Parking space for our apartment was too small and difficult to park in beuuase of the angle and incline. Location was fine, plenty of restaurants in the two nearby towns. Front gate easy to use. Washer and dryer for clothes quite convenient to use. Air conditioning did not adequately cool the first floor bedroom and di not reach second floor bedroom either. The stairs were tricky, especially at night when it was dark. Strange to have toilet on a different floor than shower and sink. Meant you have to use kitchen sink to wash your hands after using first floor toilet or go to second floor bathroom sink. The main thing is the rooms are quite small and cramped--especially for more than two people occupying the apartment.

Séjour agréable et personnels aimables, une adresse à retenir et à partager. Idéalement positionner pour visiter la régions sans trop de kilomètre. Nous reviendrons dans ce havre de paix et dans un cadre manifigue.

Great location for a visit to The Provence

We had a great time at Les Garrigues. The house was very nice, had a good and up-to-date interiour and beautiful views. The balcony/garden was sufficient and provided good shelter for the Mistral winds. The pool and poolside were good, unfortunately it was too cold to swim in the week we stayed there. Les Garrigues has the perfect location for a visit to The Provence, for example to Arles, Avignon, Les Baux and St.Remy. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Maybe a minor issue: although the houses are not on the same level (built upon a hillside) they are still directly next to each other and can be a bit noisy when your neighbours have small children for example.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre location au gîte paradou pour la qualité du logement (notamment la literie qui ne vous fait pas regretter celui de votre maison) et de l'accueil. Le domaine est très joli et tout à fait dans l'esprit des alpilles. A recommander fortement
