About Elizabeth Lucas Wilson
An Alabama born and raised girl, I grew up spending my summers in Gulf Shores. As a transplant to 'Landlocked Tennessee', I, along with my family, count down the days until our next trip to the salty Gulf air and our little home away from home at Gulfside Townhomes #12. My sweet dad, a lover of the Alabama Gulf Coast, bought this property just a few short years before he passed away suddenly at the age of 55. He fancied himself the Mayor of Gulfside Townhomes and loved this property and the location better than anywhere else in the world. He actually bought this unit specifically because it was the closest to the pool and he dreamed of being able to watch his grandkids swim while he enjoyed a cold beer on the balcony. Although he never got to see them swim in the pool, he can rest assured that they love the pool and we hope that it will be enjoyed by our family for generations to come.

This property is a short walk down the newly installed sidewalks to the updated Gulf Shores Public Beach Park or to the ever-popular Hangout. The locals favorite convenience store, Pier 33, is just across the street so that extra bag of ice you might need or the piping hot South Alabama boiled peanuts are a stones throw away!

There is no other property in Gulf Shores like Gulfside Townhomes. A unique horseshoe-shaped complex with only 40 units with 250 feet of beach front. For visitors, that means even at peak summer season, the pool will never be full, the beach never too crowded and like so many people that vacation here, you get to know your neighbors and even become friends. The complex is super family friendly and with no elevators to hinder your days. You'll enjoy being able to walk right down to the pool and courtyard area and being just steps away from the most beautiful white sand beaches in the world! (In my humble opinion!)

Fit Our Needs Perfectly
We chose this condo based on our need to be near the Hangout Music Festival so the young people could walk to and from. It ended up being great for me as a non-attendee as well! Walked down the sidewalk past the well-kept pool right onto the beach every morning and evening for my walk/run. Condo was very clean, freshly painted, nicely decorated, comfy beds, well stocked with dishes, etc. No neighbors above or below like the high rises! Owners were very helpful and responsive when I had questions as we planned our vacation. We will rent from them again if the opportunity arises!

Owner great to work with, had no issues with the property. We loved how close to the beach it was and the pool. Had everything we needed!
We love Gulfside TH! Great location and you don't have to fight for a spot on the beach.
Only giving 4 stars because...1- the sliding doors have seen their better days... 2- the downstairs never cools completely and the upstairs is freezing (it is like this in all 3 units we've stayed in, not just this one)... -3 the front door is not safe for toddler's who can pull down on the handle, it opens right up to a steep stairwell that leads to the street. We had no way to keep her inside except to bar the door with a case of water.
Plenty of linens, towels, kitchen utensils, dishes and storage. Brand new kitchen appliances! New showers in both updated bathrooms. Decorated beautifully!
This was our second stay at this property. It was the perfect location for us. Owner is helpful and very responsive. Unit was clean and well stocked with everything we needed!

We’ve stayed at Gulfside six times now and love it every time. This property has the best overall decorative touch and amenities compared to the other four units we’ve been in. The owner was very responsive to all of our questions and we really enjoyed staying here.

Need a frozen drink while on the beach?? Just walk up to Bahama Bob's for a margarita and back to your chair in minutes! With only 40 units in the entire complex with 250 feet of beach-front, you'll never have to search for a place to set up your beach tents and gear. It's an like a private oasis in the middle of the Gulf Shores action!

$250 payment at time of booking ensures reservation. Remainder is due 30 days prior to stay. Cancellation fee: more than 30 days is $75, less than 30 days is $250, less than 7 days 100% less the damage deposit of $250. Should renters be under a MANDATORY hurricane evacuation, they will be reimbursed 100% of unused days. Pets will only be considered for longterm snowbird (winter) renters.
