We spent a wonderful week at Fruachan Cottage. We often went hiking for a very long time and were very happy to come back to the cosy cottage in the evening. Pure relaxation and deceleration! The communication with Fiona was very good.
we loved this cottage and the facilities fore guests to use. The views are stunning with changing weather conditions., and daily visits from the dear were fabulous. my granddaughters loved that part and played monopoly & hide and seek in the cottage daily. Dornoch Beach is a must visit, as it is stunning and the rock pools were explored thoroughly.
I would love to be here for the winter with a roaring fire and provisions and a few good books, not moving to go anywhere.
Lairg does not have much to offer as far as eating out is concerned, although not needed when you have the facilities all here in this cottage.
Die Lage dieses Ferienhauses ist einfach nur wunderschön. Die Rehe kamen zum Frühstück vorbei. Das Haus war super eingerichtet und alles lief problemlos ab.

It is a lovely spot and we are glad you enjoyed your stay :)

Perfect Guests and would be very happy to host them again.
If you want to get away from it all and be in nature this is the place! The house was just perfect! Everything you could possibly need was there. The owners were super helpful and so lovely. I would highly recommend booking if you want to be close to nature and be away from it all.
We loved every minute of our stay in Fruachan Cottage- our short break was too short but idyllic in every way! The cottage itself is ideal and had everything we needed; the location is totally out of this world, so quiet with outstanding views. Being in the deer park was magical with the deer around us and overlooking Loch Shin - you can’t get much better than this! We travelled with 2 small dogs who loved being there! Two words- go there!

Thank you for your lovely review. We would love to welcome you back.
Well equipped cottage with stunning views. Seeing the deer up close was mesmerising for our child. House is spacious and Lairg only a short drive away. Would love to return.

Perfect cottage getaway
This cottage was well outfitted and comfortable for 5 adults. It sits on a beautiful property where deer walk right up to the house, grazing on the clovers. I would recommend this property for a country getaway.
